Close to the main train station
The staff was not very friendly and the wait to get checked in was very long. You cannot leave with the key so you have to wait to get it every time you come back in the hotel. This was 3-5 minutes at times because of the line Beds were VERY uncomfortable Paid for the private bathroom and glad we did, but it was pretty scummy.
Good location-is the main advantage! Also it was rather clean. It is the good room for 1-2 night. It is cheap and good value for money.
Very poor quality hotel. Probably the worst hotel I have stayed at.
Close to train station!
The gentleman at reception as I was leaving was very pleasant
When I arrived the young man was really quite rude, the noise all night was terrible
the location is very good, we hadn't use any kind of transport to go to city center, except the tourist buses near the hotel to explore the city. the hotel is clean, staff are pro.
the only think that was bad is the internet access fee, it's too expensive,
One of the staff is not friendlly and rude in answering our queries.
The central location was brilliant.
The light didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work the whole room had a feeling of grubbiness and ruin.
Good location, the lady behind the breakfast counter was sooo lovely and so helpful - thank you!!
Not the friendliest staff behind the front desk, wouldnt stay in the area again - too busy, too touristy and not to my liking
The location of the hotel was excellent for travelers. The staffs were welcoming and cordial to all the guests. The wake up call of bells ringing at 7 AM from the Church nearby was great. Rome was indeed, the eternal city.
Location was perfect, 5 steps from roma termini.24/24 open.fridge in room
No wifi, staff sometimes was not quite good, shared bathroom rows.
Good value for money. Lots of hot water.
Lack of air conditioning during the heat of the afternoon. Not a problem after sun down.
Right next to Termini station, very close to everything
For the price I paid I expected at least toilet paper at the toilet and clean bathroom . Go somewhere else- there are thousands of place to stay for the same price
Everything was great. It is definitely value for money. Breakfast was nice. Location is also superb.
Very clean hotel, right on the side of termini station with all the transports to the Central Rome. Great breakfast!!
Very noise street.
Moulded showertray, Ceiling airconditioning . Uncomfortable beds Smelling vile on matresses . Total rip off for the price will not be stayng there again!!!!!!!!!!!,
Great location, nice staff, price valuable, include breakfast, bigger room
Really old house and furniture, no air conditioner, a little big noisy.
I liked the fact that the hotel was close to termini station, so it was easy to take the train and metro.
The breakfast was not that good specially the coffe that was terrible. The hotel is already cheap but for the commodity you have, should be a bit less expensive. The internet is not a free service which pisses me off because they have already the connection (you can have internet if you pay) so why not make it fpr free? just to get some more money!
The only thing to like was the location across from the Termini Station. Polite staff.
Reception is on second floor, must walk up with bags. Room okay, needs refreshing with new paint. Bathroom horrible - had to clean scuzz from shower curtain! Noisy, but to be expected at this location. Thin walls - don't know what was happening in other rooms, but I heard it all! B'fast just okay.
Very tasty brreakfast, not just a croissant but a typical European breakfast.
I like the filipino staff. They are friendly and attending to your needs.
I hate the fact that the internet is not free to use in the hotel. It should come along with the price.
From the first moment you walk in, the owners, Antonella and Paolo are so friendly and sociable that you feel like you have always known them. They make you feel like you are coming into their home and offer you something to drink and a nice tasty pastry that Antonella hand makes herself. For breakfast, you will find an assortment of these wonderful pastries that she makes fresh EVERY day along with meats, cheeses and fruit. They also have a wonderful free flowing chocolate fountain with an assortment of items to be drenched to your liking. The breakfast room/lobby is beautifully decorated in soothing colors and a vibrant 360 degree digital photo of Palermo that covers 3 of the walls. While sipping a cappuccino and enjoying the home made pastries you feel like you are high in some bell tower looking at the incredible view. The rooms are just as beautiful with modern stone flooring and large digital photos of places in Sicily. The colors are beautiful and tranquil. The beds are the memory foam type and are the most comfortable I have ever been on in any hotel. Antonella and Paolo really go out of their way to make your stay most memorable. When I first walked in, I just loved the little cannoli key chains that were all lined up on the counter. I wanted to know where I could buy one and they told me that they were hand made by Antonella's grandmother and that they would have one for me when I returned from my vacation. I was overjoyed and so grateful to them as I returned back to the United States with my little hand made cannolo. They are the kindest and most generous people who sincerely enjoy their guests. As I come to Sicily every other year, I will definitely be staying at the Alma Hotel!
There was nothing that I didn't like.
Very good location! Near Termini station, taxi station. Breakfasts are modests, but quite enough. Some rooms are very nice and spacious, but can be very small. The hotel is ideal for budget travel, to stay for 2-3 nights. We were there for 3 or 4 times.
It was very clean, most of the staff was friendly.
One of the main older men who worked there was rather rude because I could not speak Italian. He was much nicer to the other person I was with because she could. Didn't care for that, but past that. Nice place.
Good location, an ok breakfast and helpful staff.
Cramped room, poor quality furniture. The shared bathroom was small and dirty.
