Location was perfect, 5 steps from roma termini.24/24 open.fridge in room
No wifi, staff sometimes was not quite good, shared bathroom rows.
Good value for money. Lots of hot water.
Lack of air conditioning during the heat of the afternoon. Not a problem after sun down.
Everything was great. It is definitely value for money. Breakfast was nice. Location is also superb.
Very clean hotel, right on the side of termini station with all the transports to the Central Rome. Great breakfast!!
Very noise street.
The only thing to like was the location across from the Termini Station. Polite staff.
Reception is on second floor, must walk up with bags. Room okay, needs refreshing with new paint. Bathroom horrible - had to clean scuzz from shower curtain! Noisy, but to be expected at this location. Thin walls - don't know what was happening in other rooms, but I heard it all! B'fast just okay.
From the first moment you walk in, the owners, Antonella and Paolo are so friendly and sociable that you feel like you have always known them. They make you feel like you are coming into their home and offer you something to drink and a nice tasty pastry that Antonella hand makes herself. For breakfast, you will find an assortment of these wonderful pastries that she makes fresh EVERY day along with meats, cheeses and fruit. They also have a wonderful free flowing chocolate fountain with an assortment of items to be drenched to your liking. The breakfast room/lobby is beautifully decorated in soothing colors and a vibrant 360 degree digital photo of Palermo that covers 3 of the walls. While sipping a cappuccino and enjoying the home made pastries you feel like you are high in some bell tower looking at the incredible view. The rooms are just as beautiful with modern stone flooring and large digital photos of places in Sicily. The colors are beautiful and tranquil. The beds are the memory foam type and are the most comfortable I have ever been on in any hotel. Antonella and Paolo really go out of their way to make your stay most memorable. When I first walked in, I just loved the little cannoli key chains that were all lined up on the counter. I wanted to know where I could buy one and they told me that they were hand made by Antonella's grandmother and that they would have one for me when I returned from my vacation. I was overjoyed and so grateful to them as I returned back to the United States with my little hand made cannolo. They are the kindest and most generous people who sincerely enjoy their guests. As I come to Sicily every other year, I will definitely be staying at the Alma Hotel!
There was nothing that I didn't like.
Good location, an ok breakfast and helpful staff.
Cramped room, poor quality furniture. The shared bathroom was small and dirty.
You need to pay for everything: 1) One hour of wi-fi internet is 3 € 2) Remote control for TV you need to pay (not sure how much) 3) To leave bag on reception 2 € 4) It is forbidden to use mini bar in your room to cool fruit or your drink etc
The room is not clean, the bed sheet is even yellow, the decoration is like 80's China, I feel live in the prison... this is definitely the worst hotel that I have ever lived and it costs alomost 40 euro per night!!
- Very impolite and rude staff!! - Extremely dirty toilet and shower. You will find pee on the toilet lid and the floor. - expensive price for internet - expensive price for luggage drop in storage room
breakfast was the only positive thing
beds were really uncomfortable, we could feel every wire on our backs! we only had one towel for 2 people, the personnel was kind at all and on top of that we had to pay 2 euro per bag to keep the suitcases stored on our last day.
The location is nice, convenient for the traveler just arriving or leaving Roma.
The wifi need fee and the sleeping quality is not so good. Sleeping in the road noise feel really bad!
+possibility to choose room with own bathroom or shared bathroom + varied breakfast
- only sweet breakfast
WiFi: slow, 5euros x 1 only device x day Bad atención Bad location (dangerous at night) Bad ugly old un confortable beds The hotel trembles everytime the metro or a car passes by Bad breakfast Rooms are far worst than photos!
Room with shower and loo at top floor was perfect! (601) Quiet, comfortable and perfect for a father and son doing Rome.Girl at breakfast bar was cheerful and friendly so our day always started well !
Shabby furniture in the halls, but what the heck,we didn't need to sit down.
Convenience to Central Rail
Small dated room; ordinary bed. Doors closing on my floor were very noisy. Shared toilet was right outside my room; convenient but noisy.
There was a sink in the room.
Location, not safe.
The staff is no friendly and the bed was 2 bed together. The internet has cost.
I had a day to spend in Rome and needed to be close to the station for an early morning flight. The place is very convenient for this and the manager was able to let me in several hours earlier than check-in.
My room was located next to the bathroom on the floor and even though there was a sign saying to not slam the door, people were slamming the door all the time. This is an old hotel, but for the price of 35 euro I cannot complain.
It's a good location, near the Termini stacion, which allows easy transportation. The staff are really simpatic and try to do whatever they can.
The wifi is paid and it's 5 euros per dispositive per day; so I would say that it's pretty much expensive. If there's 4 persons in a room, the wifi per day costs 20 euros! The room doesn't have ar-conditioner, so we have to open the windows. The problem is that, although it's a nice location, it's also noisy, and sleep became a difficult thing.
Good location, clean, quiet, if in the hotel has room with better condition give for guest without extra cost.
If you come alone with big luggage, you can go up to the reception, because the elevator can be open only with the key and staircase not so wide
Was cheap, and close to the central train station
dirty, not friendly people, horrible view in the street of the area where homeless people have overnight stay
Pretty basic, attractive to youngsters. But right near Termini, so advantages are clear
location, breakfast included
wifi not free
