Loved the Mascagni! I got the hotel at a very good rate thanks to booking.com and it was excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is second to none.. they are always all out to help... I would go back in a heartbeat. The tiny little lift .. it can be a bit of a tight squeeze :) |

Please write at least 15 words The Hotel Mascagni was a pleasant surprise. The lobby is quaint and the room was very comfy. The breakfast was a great way to start off the day. And the location is so close to everything. I would definately stay there again. |

The concierge, notably Luciano and Giuseppe, were excellent, and made all the difference to this hotel. The lift is very small though functional. The rooms on Level 1 are exposed to noise (made by staff preparing breakfast?) during the early morning from about 6-7 am. I guess this is unavoidable but the excellent breakfast makes up for this. |

Staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. Location was excellent. Bar nice & quiet for a drink at the end of the day. Breakfast limited but good enough. Room quite small but I expect this is normal for central Rome. |

Wonderful location in central Rome, one block from the subway and on several bus lines. Quiet rooms for the location, air conditioning worked (it was very hot in Rome this May). Excellent service from all the staff. Front desk very attentive. Room was fine for our family of three, excellent service from the maid (Serena). Gabriell, valet and breakfast server was very friendly during our... |

The hotel is located in a good location, steps away from the nearest Metro stop (Repubblica) and within comfortable walking distance of major attractions. The room was quiet and of adequate size. Overall, good value for price paid, although four stars seemed a stretch. The bathtub drain was clogged with hair - pretty gross. Also, one day we returned around 10 p.m. to find the door to our room open - apparently, the housekeeping staff hadn't closed the door after servicing the room. (Nothing was missing, but still... |

The central location: all major objects of interest are in walking distance. The reception was quick and efficient. A room in this price category always should have direct daylight. Looking out of the window made us somewhat depressed, so we closed it. Further the cleaning was fair enough but again, in this price category: bathroom and the room should be clean and made up completely which was not always the case. |

Museums were in walking distance for many within 30 min. walk. Shopping was very convenient and many restaurants in close. Termini was about 10 min. away. Could walk. Also traveled to Venice and used a sister hotel in Venice. |

The room was really clean and spacious. It looked exactly as the pictures shown. It was near the metro and walk distance from main attractions of the city. Walk distance, '10, from the central train station, Station Termini, linking the airport and other Italian towns. All and all, value for money. The employees/hotel staff do not speak English; therefore, it was impossible to communicate with anyone else except the receptionists. |

All the members of the hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is situated very central, just few meters from the Republica square. It's also within the walking distance to all main tourist attractions and good shopping areas. We enjoyed our stay and liked the accommodation. |

The bathroom was very nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was near a metro station and quite near several tourist attractions. I certainly do not think it was worth the original price (580 euro for 2 nights), considering I booked a "deal". The room was small, not bad but nothing extraordinary. |

1. The professional way in which the reception desk and the hotel staff in general dealt with me. 2. The quiet rooms and surroundings of the hotel. 3. The spacious bathroom. 1. The bath tub in the room I stayed in wasn't made with an inclination. This resulted in causing the water to accumulate in the middle of the tub while having a shower. This wasn't a biggie though. |
