It's a beautiful place to be. Just take in consideration to rent a car or hire a driver, it's not easy to move around the area by foot due to the small roads. The village Martina Franca is about 7,7 km from the "Masseria". Enjoy your stay, I sure did!
Price quality Breakfast Genuine Nice staff Cold rooms 10 min drive from Martina franca WiFi also at THE pool
Room 102 sound isolation with room next door No individual terras Pool was not heated, not cleaned and paint was peeling off THE sides Water was not hot, not even warm in shower when we stayed 13/14 july
This was a superb end to our trip to Italy. The setting was serene and tranquil. Very relaxing and just what we needed after traveling around Italy and Sicily, seeing all the big attractions, busy places and visiting family in Italy. The swimming pool had the same relaxing feel as the rest of the site. Pool bar staff and food were very good. Included breakfast had enough choice on buffet. We had a villa which was set up very tastefully and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way it is very well sign posted.
A nice place to stay for visiting near by towns and you like the country side. We liked the friendly atmosphere and extended our stay. Good breakfast and restaurant.
Needs a little refreshing. The Masseria shows it´s wear. Somewhat difficult to find in the country side coming from Tarento, needs better roadsigns.
Very silent and good area for relaxation
a little far from center of city
Allegedly 4 stars hotel, but the rooms were modern back at the 90's, unpleasent staff, not great location, poor breakfast (tomatos not washed, powder coffee machine..). No Wi-Fi or cellular reception in the room.
Staff were fantastic: happily changed my reservation for one night less, and when I was told the restaurant was not open that night (it doesn't open every night in April) they drove to Martina Franca and brought me back a pizza. The surroundings are glorious and restaurant great.
As it was early in the season the swimming pool was not open. That said I am not sure it was yet warm enough to swim...
Fantastic place with great staff ,great food Diferent from any place I have visted
Out in the country and somewhat difficult to find
The pool was nice
Big hotel resort with no charm which focused on quantity over quality. The room didn't look like the photo and was highly depressing. The prices are much too high for this quality.
Nice rooms Swimming pool Good meals offered Ideally located for day trips in surrounding area
Good value for money
Ugly orange curtains. Unpleasant smell of laundered towels. Marked quilt on bed. Feels like a conference centre.
Very stylish and comfortable. Arty and spacious surroundings. Very nice room and pool area. Breakfast excellent though too many cakes and pastries on offer. Evening meals had variety and no pizza! Bikes to use. Pool very clean. Relaxing hotel. Staff very friendly with good English. Lovely surroundings with animals and countryside. Very peaceful.
Had great trouble finding it. Signs on road for hotel misleading. Stuck in the middle of the countryside so couldn't eat anywhere else unless driving into the towns about 20 minutes away and roads very dark and unlit. Evening meals were expensive at the masseria and portions quite small. There was a computer for anyone to use but kids often on it playing games so needed more than one. Very spacious hotel with many paved areas. Could do with more sun beds and more grassy areas to sit on and water for free! Had to pay for bottles all the time. A fountain with drinking water would have been nice as was an expensive hotel. Very little for kids to do. Should have a play area as kids running around hotel in evening.
Lovely rooms, friendly and effecient staff, good choice for breakfast - especially for cakes, good swimming pool and bar service.
The breakfast coffee was not up to the usual Italian standard.
- A hotel with a lot of potential, but it seems still to be in the starting phase. - swimming ppol is very nice, on top of a hill which gives a nice view - The building and the gardens are great. - Martino Franco is very nice town especially in the evening when everybody starts strolling the streets looking for something to eat. - free wifi
- The door of the hotel room has a handle at the outside, which means that if you do not close the door explicitly people from outside can enter. - the second day there was no warm water in shower. - Also you share your balcony with one other room. So if you want to leave open your window, you have to trust the neighbours. - At first we could not find the swimming pool. The swimming pool signs let us into the cellar.
a very charming place built around typical trulli houses, nice swimmingpool and gardens, good regional kitchen,a place to enjoy the beautiful nature and well located to visit the historic cities around
We only missed fresh "cornetti" and more seasonal fruit
