Hotel Massimino  

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room more like a small apartment than a room. Very nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for two nights of our stay and had very nice meals each night. We were made to feel as if nothing was a problem and although the train trip into Rome is a little further than was ideal that is certainly no reflection on the hotel.

Distance from Rome on the train and the frequency of trains back to Anguillara in the evenings. We were disappointed that the hotel is quite some distance from the lake and the town is unremarkable.

The staff were friendly and helpful - over and above what we expected. The location is very good for exploring Rome - half an hour train ride to the centre. As you are staying outside the centre food and drink is much cheaper. The hotel restaurant offers a high standard of cuisine.

Wonderful staff, wonderful restaurant. Close to train station to Rome. Many thanks to all personal of the hotel.

Nothing to do in Anguillara itself.

As somebody wrote: you feel like part of a family.

The hotel was easy to find - and had good, secure parking for our car, as our intention was to park it and take the train into Rome each day, as we had deduced on booking this accommodation, that the station was a short walk from the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how new and modern it was, as well as extremely clean - but, above all at how very professional, friendly and welcoming the lovely family who run it are. Davide, Gianlucca, Ottavio and Enrico were so kind and welcoming. They really contributed to making our stay in their beautiful family run hotel a wonderful experience. We met some of the extended family and it was especially nice to be introduced to the elegant grandparents. Their invaluable kind advice on how best to experience Rome was so appreciated and will always be rememberd. We also enjoyed a relaxing morning, as guests, touring on Lago Braciano, on the Spezzia II. It was almost sad to leave these lovely people. We wish you every happiness in your future everyone - especially Davide and his Margaret... Finally, but not least, the meals, aperitivos, digestivos and wines/beers, at the hotel, were amongst the best we've enjoyed in our travels.

Some sofas in the apartment would have been a comfortable addition.

Very friendly and well run. Rooms well above standard expected and compare favourably with some 4 and 5 star hotels I stay in regularly. The staff are very attentive and helpful but not ott like some prestige hotels. Everthing is relaxed and casual which makes for an enjoyable stay. The location at first impression is remote but a bus stops outside and takes you to Anguillara Sabazia old town in 10 mins for 1 euro. The train station is a 2 minute stroll and a daily travel ticket can be purchased in the tobacconist opposite the hotel for 8 euros. This allows you to travel into Rome by train(40-50 mins), use the metro or bus whilst there and return, an absolute bargain which we used 3 days out of 5 and each time the trains ran exactly on time!!! You can also get the train to Bracciano for about 3 euro return which has the castle where Tom Cruise was married and a selction of bars and restaurants. A great place to stay.

Found the beds too firm for my liking.

Lovely family run hotel, the owners/ staff could not have been any more attentive.Very comfortable ,spotless,great bathroom,good food,lovely wine. Really went the extra mile-we were there for a wedding and David, the son, drove six of us to the venue amazing!

A little way from lake, but if you are moving around then fine.

We had a suite for four persons; kitchenette in main bedroom, separate bedroom, spacey bathroom. Three airco units and a refrigirator. Elevator. Modern and clean rooms, Large TV in every room. Good restaurant. Only 200 m walk to train station (and 45 min to Rome), 2 km to lake Bracciano. Most friendly "owner".

Breakfast could be more elaborate, but excellent coffee!

The family were very friendly and serviceoriented. Very smiling employees. Very good food in the restaurant. We chose this hotel because of the location close to the train station. That's why we gave the hotel good for location. We can recommend the hotel if you want to go to Rome by train.

Hotel location is not good if you want to be close to the lake.

Verzorgd net hotel. Ideaal voor bezoek aan Rome via trein voor 2,60 euro tot in centrum op 45 min. Lekker eten in resto van hotel. Rustig gelegen en goede bedden waren onze pluspunten vor dit hotel

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Gevraagde wijn (Lambrusco) was niet beschikbaar, maar werd in allerijl gekocht bij de plaatselijke slijter.

Camere ampie e ben arredate, SKY in camera, WIFI gratuito in camera, cortesia.

Il proprietario, Sig Ottavio e il suo staff ci hanno dato la sensazione di essere tra amici. Persona gentilissima e di piacevole conversazione .Io sono una signora in sedia a rotelle ed ho trovato il soggiorno in questo albergo molto comodo. La cucina eccellente e il cameriere Gianluca che si è occupato di noi un giovane uomo da dieci e lode per capacità e modo di porsi verso i clienti. Se sarà possibile in futuro vi ritorneremo. Grazie per il soggiorno soddisfacente.

Ottimi il ristorante! cucina casalinga!! Staff gentile e dispinibile ampio parcheggio gratuito e al coperto.

tutto specialmente le persone che gestiscono l'albergo molto simpatiche e disponibili.

la cordialità e la gentilezza del personale, la camera accogliente e spaziosa e la posizione vicino alla stazione comoda per gli spostamenti di chi viaggia senza macchina.

Gentilissimi. Camere pulite, nuove e molto piacevole. Da consigliare.

L'atmosfera familiare, la comodità del parcheggio (disponibile anche coperto senza sovraprezzo), la disponibilità della rete internet gratuita abbastanza veloce e di un pacchetto sky più ampio di quello che normalmente si trova negli hotel.

Relativamente al ristorante credo che si possa fare di meglio.

Hotel semplice ma molto confortevole, camera non soffocante e molto pulita. L'accoglienza è stata gentile e cordiale, se torno da quelle parti sicuramente questa è la mia prima scelta.

Sehr preiswert und sehr freundliche Gastgeber - alles gepasst !
