The location was half a block from the Dumo and just a short walk to ponte veccio. Shopping and charming little cafes all around. Ice cream shop next door. we just stayed one night because our flight was early next AM. Should have planned our trip for at least 2 or 3 nights at Maxim. One small flaw bathroom and shower was small. |

The location was superb for walking to the sites. The room was very small. The showers were cool;not much hot water. Very small hallways. |

I found the location and staff first rate. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions to places of interest and with bus and train information. It was well located making it easy to see the museums and churches of interest. I found the room noisy and there was little for me to eat as I am lactose intolerant and gluten sensitive so it would be nice to have had an alternative to milk and bread products. If possible rice milk or soy milk for cereals would have allowed me to eat cold cereal. |

The woman on the reception desk was really helpful and went out of her way to find other hotel accomodation for later in the week and to book me on a day trip with a travel agency. |

location was excellent - cannot get more central as on the busy street between piazza della signoria and cathedral! slightly 'run down' room (decor) so definitely not for those used to luxurious rooms but i have to say it was very clean and very comfortable! and breakfast was really nice too - lots of choice. Very good value 'budget' style hotel! its on third floor but has a lift! my friends who stayed in another room were woken by cathedral bells each morning so that may annoy some of you! i only didnt hear them because i am deaf!!! |

Hotel Maxim is located at the very heart of Florence. Everything is within a walking distance and most of the important sites are right next to it. They also have free internet (2 points). The rooms are a bit old (although clean). The breakfast is poor (although edible). Since it is located in a main tourists street it is loud until late at night (but the location is worth it!) |

Great location on one of the main streets, easy booking, good value for money and helpful staff. Room size was good, and we could leave our bags in the luggage room after check out. Highly recommend it. |

The breakfast was very good... fresh fruit, great pastries, cereal, juices and coffee. The location was perfect... steps from the Duomo and the Uffizi. The air conditioning was the best we found in Italy! It was such a great place to stay for the price. |

Located right in the historical centre of florence. It takes 5-10 minutes relaxed walking to everything what is worth looking at. Hotel as well was pretty good: everything is in perfect order, working condition and staff is really friendly. But location (I'd even say the whole Florence!) is absolutely not welcoming those who drive: city is a hell in terms of roads ,infrastructure, driving and especially parking. |

The location is at its best. It's near the station & the attraction sites as well. The staff can speak English & she is friendly. The check-in time starts at 8:00 am. We arrived past 11 am but still the room is not yet ready, though there is a baggage room where we can deposit our things while waiting for the room to be prepared. When we returned from lunch, it was still not ready. We just waited at the receiving area. |

This hotel is situated in a fantastic spot so you are close to the centre. Some of our party was moved to another hotel because of 'work in their rooms'. I however saw no work going on in any room, there was a large party booked in instead. this was not acceptable as some of our party was transfered. The hotel was noisy due to other guests. The shower in the room leaked into the bathroom so everything was soaked. Not ideal. |

The Hotel is right in the city - 50 metres next to the dom! Just the perfect place, when you are looking for a hotel in the centre. The price was fair, but dont try to park at the hotel (the hotel in on the third floor of an old building right on a shopping mile). Can't imagine to drive down that street. At "Porta Prato" next to the train station (not St. Maria Novella) you can find free parking spaces next to the park house. They forgot after paying to give us back our Passports. In the evening, right next to Pisa we realised that mistake and had to drive back. Very anoying. |

We really enjoyed the good breakfasts that this hotel offers. The location is a real plus as well. The narrow crooked hallways are difficult if you end up at the end. |

Stella Mary is set on the second floor of a typical Florentine building and offers comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi internet access. Breakfast is served in your room. |
Hotel Pendini is located just around the corner from Florence's Duomo and faces onto a typical, lively square. It is set in a historic building. |
Hotel Universo is set in a quiet square in the heart of Florence. Santa Maria Novella Railway Station is only 300 metres away, and all the major landmarks are within a short, pleasant walk. |
The address says it all! Overlooking the beautiful church of Santa Maria Novella, Rosso23 is a modern hotel in an ancient building, set right in the heart of Florence. |
