We really enjoyed the good breakfasts that this hotel offers. The location is a real plus as well. The narrow crooked hallways are difficult if you end up at the end. |

The hotel staff was very knid and helpful No real bathroom door, accordion style verses a wooden door. Shower floods bathroom floor everytime you take a shower. |

The location was perfect, right next to the duomo and 5 minutes away from the train station and the uffizi, and most of the sites were within 30min walking distance. Right above a shopping district, quite safe. Free 15 min internet as well. The rooms are relatively older, but still clean! The toilet seat seems to be falling off.. |

The staff was the most friendly and helpfull that we have encountered. The room was very large. It accommodated our family of two adults and two teenagers. Heat was turned off during the day, but otherwise everything was outstanding. |

The staff were exceptionaly kind and helpful The shower in our washroom was basically jusat just a curtained off area so the entire washroom would get flooded after a shower |

The central location to all the sights Driving directions to the hotel need to be more comprehensive. There are many one-way streets and it would be very useful to have some guidance. |

when you arrive the owner, Mr Berti is there to welcome you. When you have your breakfast, Mr Berti is there to make your chocolate. When you arrive at 11:30 pm?? yes, he is there. Mr Berti makes the difference. Plus it is very close to the Basilica. |

Excellent location in the center. A small refrigerator in the room or in the common space (for guests' use)would be a big plus. |

Resting between the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery, for over 120 years this hotel has offered a fantastic location for exploring Florence. |
Previous guests of this lovely little hotel located in the historic centre, just 5 minutes from the train station and Duomo, have praised its cleanliness, friendly staff and lovely rooms. |
Hotel Calzaiuoli is situated on the street of the same name which runs through some of Florence's best sights and leads down to the Duomo, just a 2-minute walk away. |
Experience the real romance and charm of Florence in this elegant hotel, set in the former residence of the noble Gianfigliazzi family, and with some bedrooms overlooking the Ponte Vecchio. |
