Located in a beautiful village. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the lake.

We spent three relaxing days in Gargnano and can thoroughly recommend Hotel Meandro and the lovely little town in general. Hotel location is convenient, very close to a public beach with an adjacent lawn/park with shade-giving trees and a playground for children; it's only a short stroll (8-10 mins.?) to busy Gargnano centre. Clean room and bathroom. We had great lake views from the balcony! There's also a huge common terrace with amazing views over Lake Garda and to the mountains behind. Staff was very friendly and we got by with English. Buffet breakfast was average and included hot food. Free WiFi was much appreciated, especially by our student son; it dropped out occasionally in the room, but was stable in the comfortable lobby area. Nearby idyllic Lago d'Idro is worth a visit - go via Salo (as recommended by hotel staff) and not via the narrow windy street from Gargnano (like we did)!

Hotel/room decor needs updating because it gives a bad first impression.

The Hotel lacked a good lively bar area or central lounge area. Good location and facilities but lacked a buzz.

Everything was alright.

We liked the helpfulness of the staff; the excellent standard of room (public and private) cleanliness; the breakfast; the option for restaurant; the steamy swimming pool; and the roof terrace. Ok position but busy corner. Great for getting down to the lake and into Gargnano centre. No real problems of any kind.

Having stayed in mostly 4 star hotels was very pleasantly surprised by the standard and cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was also well situated overlooking the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel for value for money and location.

Tea and coffee making facilities would be a definite plus.

We liked the location, the room, the restaurant, the buffet breakfast and the staff. We could find no fault and being there felt like a home from home. The staff were very courteous and friendly and we appreciated that the staff could speak English and even taught us a little Italian. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The view from the Superior Double room was breathtaking. Food in the restaurant was superb. It was quiet and peaceful, ideally located a little way from the main square. The staff were all helpful and polite. The pool was great to work up an appetite in the morning.

It was probably due to it being too early in the season, but the sauna wasn't on. I'm sure they would have put it on, if we had asked, but we didn't as we were only popping in and it would have taken too long to warm up. A minor issue to an otherwise fabulous stay!

Siamo tornati dopo un anno esatto e ci e' stato fatto un upgrade in una suite come un anno fa!!

Unsem Wunsch wegen des schlechten Wetters einen Tag früher abzureisen, wurde unentgeldlich entsprochen.

Kompetente Betreuung bereits im Receptionsbereich, Speise- und Weinkarte im gehobenen Bereich - vorzüglich. Lage ideal für Fuß- und Autounternehmungen. Ruhiges Zimmer mit Seeblick. Mitarbeiter freundlich und unauffällig.

Zimmer noch mit "altem" Charme, noch nicht rekonstruiert.

Schöne Lage, freundliches Personal, gutesw Essen, Parkplatz ohne Probleme

Swimming Pool gut sauber aber altmodische Einrichtung. Parkplatz - Situation sehr gut.

Sauber, aber uralte sehr renovierungsbedürftige Einrichtung. Teppich abgelaufen Möbel aus Sperrmüll ??? Bad dunkelbraun gefliest, 70iger JAhre Look hilfe!!!! Daher viel zu teuer trotz "Secret Deal". Kein Frühstück bei 41 Euro im absoluter Nebensaison für die übernachtung zu teuer.

Das Haus ist vorbildlich geführt, die Rezeption kompetent besetzt. Mehrsprachigkeit ist kein Fremdwort im Meandro. Der Seeblick wird unvergessen bleiben.

Schönes modernes Zimmer mit Balkon und geräumigem Badezimmer. Lage am Hang mit herrlichem Blick über den Gardasee. Grosses Schwimmbad (12x6 m) mit Ausgang zum Garten. Freundliches Personal mit guten Deutschkenntnissen. Gratis-Pkw-Einstellplätze am Haus. Gutes Restaurant mit angenehmem Personal. Grosse Sonnenterrasse mit Blick über den See.

Tagsüber Straßenlärm, der aber nachts fast ganz aufhört. Eingeschränktes Fernsehprogramm (kein zdf)

Die Aussicht auf den Gardasee

L'ampio balcone con ampia vista sul lago di Garda. I letti larghissimi, non lunghi però. L'arredamento della camera, davvero molto funzionale. Le molte possibilità di relax: piscina, giardino, terrazza, ...

Viaggiando con mia moglie non vedente accompagnata da suo cane guida, pur segnalandolo, abbiamo pagato il soggiorno del cane come un cane qualunque e questo può starci, ma ci è stato anche comunicato che <<gli animali non sono ammessi alla sala delle prime colazioni e al ristorante>> contrariamente alla Legge 37 del 14.2.1974 che prevede invece l'accesso gratuito agli esercizi pubblici senza limitazione pena sanzioni amministrative. La piscina non era sempre disponibile, e piuttosto buia.

Die Lage einmalig und die freundlichkeit des Personales

Sehr gute Lage in Gargnano, 3 Min. zum Strand, interessante Architektur des Hotels, Sauberkeit und ein wunderschöner Zimmerblick auf den Lago.

Die Betten sind nicht die bequemsten. Zwar eine große Auswahl an süßen Sachen zum Frühstück, aber nur eine Sorte Käse und Schinken. Bei mehrereb Übernachtungen wäre es ein bisschen eintönig.

Freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, ruhige Lage, Aussicht auf den See.
