Friendly and helpful staff, hotel in public areas looks bright and shiny, many facilities, good value for money.
Rooms old decoration, relatively small,no option of coffee or tea making,no isolation in bath room when taking a shower, location far from city and isolated.
Price, jacuzzi and swimming pool, beach nearby
extra charge for beach chairs etc., bad sound insulation of the rooms, noisy bed
Good price for a 5-star hotel next to the beach
Having to pay to rent a lawn chair for the beach
Amazingly splendid hotel at a very reasonable price. Food was excellent.
The set menu was too large for us. We would have preferred a la carte.
The building and the outside areas were quite nice.
The rooms were not ready, it was later than 2 pm. Breakfast is limited and the same every day . The big pool was hardly ever open because of weddings,so you would have to go to the top jacuzzi where there is limited space. The worst thing was sitting up there in your costume and guests from the wedding below coming up and having their pictures taken or taking pictures of the pool where young children were playing. The manager came up to the pool showing people around, some workers had to stand up there(cleaning?) Mainly starring and making young girls feel uncomfordable in their costumes. The noise At night in the hotel was terrible, we had fireworks At 2 am one night. Generally i find it badly organized. Rooms old fashioned.
Spectacular hotel garden with large pool and many cool lounge chairs
Breakfast service Rooms are okay, but clearly not 5 star
A good price. Beach 10 minute walk. Ruins nearby. Remote location, but near a beautiful beach. Nice pool. We did not like our first room since it did not have a view. The staff moved us to a new room immediately.
The room was not quiet. Could hear all conversations in next room. The bathroom was surround by mirrors. Very awkward! Glass door to the bathroom. No privacy at all in the bathroom. No hair dryer or safe as stated in ad. Breakfast food pastries tasted old. Several problems still pending with our renovated room.
Room 202 was excellent. The overall look of the hotel was fantastic lots of attention to detail and was very beautiful..pool was great and loungers good although if more than 10 people could be a problem but we were fine Cosmo on reception was great Michael the bar brilliant and Vince in the restaurant great his mate was good too and the chef brilliant cheers thanks
No English menu (although we did not starve and the food was very good) no tea or coffee making facilities in room
We liked everything about this hotel, the hotel and grounds were superbly presented and maintained.the staff were very friendly and helpful.
everything.room sea view.staff.dinner in restaurant excellent and not expensive.walking distance to historical site.
The coffee and the hotel's logo
Ubication: terrible, the hotel is not 800 mts as they mentioned. The actual distance 2.5 km to the Neptune restaurant. Where there is an adjacent entrance Room: we booked for 3 people (2 adults and 2 babies 3 year and 9 months old) They do not mention that some rooms used to be smoker rooms so they stink. Mattress: so old that it is a miracle that they still are in one piece, they are so uncomfortable that every time you move it looks like you are in a water mattress. Decoration: if we were back in the 70s the rooms were magnificent, unfortunately the Neptune's temple conservation is much better than this old deco. Swimming pool: closed because a marriage was taking place. Why I should pay for other people's mistakes? Beach: they will through at you an old scam, that you need to pay for the beach. Do not do it, you can easily go saving 7 eur per person
The view from the room the location
Being the only people there and the piped music in the Restauraunt and the food
Nice room, attractive hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Excellent local wine beautiful views and short walk to beach.
Food in the dining room was average to fair. Fixed menu and $$. Eat out.
Hotel is comfortable, staff is exellent, Location is close to Paestum archeological sight.
Some unpleasant smell of manure close to hotel. Beach is not comfortable, upper layer of water is very cold because of close river
