Hotel Medici was on an easily accessible, quiet street, with great access to transportation facilities. The hotel provided a good, clean room, a nice breakfast, and a helpful staff. If you're looking for a great spot to stay while touring Rome, it's a little off the beaten path from the major tourist attraction, but a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

We enjoyed the helpful hotel staff particularly the desk staff. The breakfast was very good, and the in room bar fridge was reasonably priced. The room was clean, and did not feel cramped. We appreciated the availability of internet at no charge. The location was excellent, reasonably quiet, close to good restaurants and easy to get to various forms of transportation.

Very pleasant, clean and friendly hotel, especially the 24/7 reception staff who made my grandchildren feel very welcome, the triple room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and had a large choice with something to please everyone. It also had a lounge area with wifi access. Within 15 minutes walking distance to the main Rome Termini also the Piazza della Repubblica where you can book all the open top tour buses which visit all the major sights of Rome. We would definitely stay there again. The cost of the laundry service, very expensive

Value for money, good ratio of quality & confort vs room price & even taxi price to siteseings, convenient location, few minutes walk to metro, few EUROs taxi drive to historical & turistic areas, hotel staff kind, friendly and helpful, familial warm environment, good Wi-Fi, good restaurants over the street Breakfast can be more diversified

We loved the old world decor and lovely furnishings, it was so homely and interesting as there were so many levels to expore from the underground breakfast room to the lovely lounges and outdoor garden area. We felt at home there. The room we were originally in was far too small, so we asked for a larger one which was no problem to them and much more suitable. Nothing really except we got tired of cold bread and rolls at breakfast and would have died for a piece of hot toast.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice area. Close to transportation. Decent size shower unless you are large. The only real complaint is the beds are old and uncomfortable. We folded a blanket and put it under the bottom sheet which helped. Decent breakfast. Nice back terrace to relax.

Nice, authentic old building adding charm to your stay in Rome. Good location, within walkable distance from many attractions. However, if you arrive from termini with luggage, it's better to take a taxi, should cost within 10 euros. Very clean and quite room. Tv, a/c-all working. Not once during our stay breakfast was served in the hotel patio, but in the basement. Though use of patio in summer time was one of the advertized amenities, and it helped to make our decision to stay in this hotel.

Liked: Location - its good that the hotel is not next to Termini station, which is the dirtiest location I've seen in Rome Breakfast - poor but self service buffet. Many comparable Italian hotels offer only cafe and one croissant. Here we got cheese, ham, bread, sweet, yoghurt, Flakes and unlimited variation of coffee TV with a good channel choice and a good signal Personal speaks good english, friendly enough Hotel gave us a discount for a family restaurant across the street, which turned out to be one of the best we visited. Small room for three persons. Third Bed was a sofa. Quite expensive fridge bar stuff. Nithing more.

I've stayed here before and prefer the location to many of the Roma attractions. The hotel is a short walk from the Termini (train station) and a comfortable walk to Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. There is a nice selection of restaurants in the area.

Staff was excellent and had wonderful recommendations for restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Comfortable room with really decent bathroom. Would recommend to others Elevator is ancient and twice cleaning staff left gate open which disables the entire thing. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Did not appreciate having to pay for wifi.

I would like to thank the stuff for help. The hotel location is very good (15 min walk to all top places, good restaurants around and excelent cheese boutique, 7 min walk to Borgese park), room for 3 persons is big enough and it is very clean! Breakfast is very traditional, but no warm dishes. The area is quiet and safe (it was importaint for me with kids). I would choose this hotel for my future trips to Rome.
