Novotel Salerno Est Arechi is in a great location on the seafront, near the Arechi Stadium. It features a pool, a fitness center and an excellent restaurant. Parking is free.
Score from 424 reviews Very good

Score from 290 reviews Excellent
On the Amalfi coast, this large hotel and spa center enjoys panoramic sea views. Its contemporary rooms are an 8 minute walk from Salerno Train Station, and 2 miles from the port.
Score from 610 reviews Good
The staff were very helpful and the room was clean. It was lovely having a balcony room and a great view of the sea.
It was hard getting any access to the beach. It was a bit far out to walk to the shops and when you drove into Salerno parking was near impossible. The street were dirty.
The wi- fi into my room wasn't work and is necessary to pay to use the beache or swimmig pool
Being in Salerno is a great place to make road trips to the Amalfi coast towns, Naples, Pompei and other smaller but nice towns nearby...
It is not in the 'nice' side of Salerno and parking was very tight (though we were always able to park on site)
Location was across the road from the beach.
You had to go across the road and down the street to use a pool, and then had to where a hat in the pool while swimming, never have heard of that before, so we cooled of in the shower instead next to the pool. Pool area was nice though even though you had to pay the hotel to use it, very strange to us.
The staff deserves more than five stars. Breakfast is classical continental, food is tasty. Close to public transport.
Rooms are equipted very poorly, with old furniture, and it is far from 4 stars, renovation going on. Formaly 4 stars are met by the tail:-), but in real life no. Beach close to the hotel, but not of any good, expensive entry for nothing.
Standard beach-type hotel on the road along the coast.
walking distance to city centre
parking lot not big enough
Location and comfortable room
Clean and comfortable.
The place is looking a bit tired and in some need of refurbishment. Use of the word "resort" in the title on the front door is overstating things. Internet access was frustrating. A little way out from the centre of Salerno.
staff very helpfull and friendly, monitored parking & garage
poor breakfast, the rooms are only cheaply "renovated"
The hotel was clean and close to the sea, staff tried to help, despite limited Enhlish knowledge,
Staff couldn't speak english, or just few words. Surrounding is dirty and messy, very disappointing.
I like the hotel proximity to the 'Lunga Mare' Promenade. The pool was a nice extra, and staff were very helpful & speak English as well.
Was probably the safest hotel in a city that is a toilet.
Internet didn't work well in room. Lobby looked amazing and room complete opposite. My mistake was going to southern Italy. Salerno (and all surrounding towns) is a dump. Dirty, loud, unkept, crowded, graffiti everywhere. Couldn't leave fast enough.
We had a room on the top floor and the balcony was very spacious. Also the room and the bathroom had a nice size and we had a fridge.
Because it was raining, we had to travel to the center of Salerno by car, where it is almost impossible to find a place to park the car. Location is ok. We didn't have coffee or tea in the room.
It was cheap
It was very plain, nasty rooms, location and breakfast was disgusting! Definitely not a 4* more like a 3*!
The place was clean.
Carrying luggage up the stairs in order to get into the hotel was not fun. The door to our room had a lock that was not straight and a previous occupant just about tore the door out to the point that the whole frame was loose. I asked for a new room and they didn't change it out for us.
Good rate, friendly helpful staff.
A bit far from town.
You can see the bay from the window.
The wifi and the air conditioning didn't work, the bed was hard. The expresso coffee at the breakfast is paid. The hotel is old and the pictures doesn`t show how much it needs a renovation. Really far from Salerno's centre.
We had an appartment which was large and comfortable but poorly equipped. .. The staff were friendly though not always as knowledagable as we would have liked.
The location...it was too far from the town centre with no clear advice on how to access the centre easily from the staff. It also was not on the sea front as the advert had alluded too. You need a car to stay here.
Good attention of staff at breakfast and bathroom facilities
Mosquitoes and reception staff were not very knowledgable about local information
Front desk, Value for money
The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. Good value for money - so long as you don't mind being away from city center and prefer quietness.
comfortable bed, sea view and balcony.
Lack of bar area to socialise and bathroom in need of updating.
The hotel is on the main road with easy access
I was charged 3€/day extra though I understood no extra payment necessary . They serve the worst caffe americano in Italy. They make it by mixing coffe with cold water in a jug and then heating the mixture. Disgusting and a bad start to the day.
Exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful reception staff. Best of our trip through France, Switzerland & Italy. Just wish all hotels and staff were the same. Couldn't speak highly enough of them.
