This was a very difficult trip. My step-father-in-law passed away suddenly and I had to fly to Salerno to help my mother take care of navigating the process. The staff -- Sam, Antonio, Anna, Matilda, Flora, Morgana, and everyone else -- was spectacular. There are few words to describe their genuine concern, care and extraordinary service and accommodating efforts. They treated my mother, not as a guest, but as part of a family. She was distraught, in grief, and at a loss for how to proceed. Your staff helped immeasurably. Wonderful, thoughtful people who put my mother's needs before theirs. I cannot thank you enough.

They had a beautiful lobby and cafe lounge, and a generous breakfast included. The thermostat in the room was a nice feature.

Their location is difficult to get to, and is no where near the central part of town. The surrounding area is not very nice, and their staff wasn't very welcoming to me when I arrived, as they were very busy, and it took them at least 15 minutes to sort out my room because I had a booking.com reservation. Also, with how nice the lobby and cafe/lounge was, I was very disappointed with the condition of the rest of the hotel. The floor I was staying on had dark brown carpets covered in spots and stains and it didn't reflect the mood of the other parts of the hotel. I asked for a single room, but my room had two single beds in it, and I worried that someone else may end up coming in the room to sleep, or that I was getting charged for two people instead of one. As well, the linens supplied were very meager, and the drain and the faucet in the shower weren't functioning correctly. Needless to say, I didn't have a very pleasant stay, and don't plan on returning to Salerno, or this hotel.

It was better than the previous places we stayed at so felt like a nice place (although the rooms weren't exactly good 4* rooms). Breakfast was very good and you can take a lot back to your room.

We had to wait for 2 hours to check in at 3pm when we should've been checked in at 2pm. The ceiling fell down on our first day and we had to change room. They put us in a lesser room that we paid for and would've left us there had we not said anything to them. Had to stay in that room for a night but went in the suite for the next two nights (although we still preferred our first room the most). Room servic lady was friendly but wasn't worth the price. There aren't many beaches in Salerno so you have to pay a lot to go on one and when you do you feel like you're the only foreigner around as it's not very touristy.

Breakfast is good for Italian hotels. Also the personal is ok

We travelled around Puglia region and changed a few hotels on our way and it was the worth hotel we stayed. Very old hotel, even it is closed to the sea all the beaches in front are not free for entrance. And it seems they belonge to other hotels. You should drive at least 2 km away to reach the public beach or the chain of private beaches. It is not good value for money you pay. I would not recommend it.

It was a very quiet hotel with a very helpful staff.

The hotel was too far away from the centre and railway station. Transport was reduced to either expensive taxi rides or extremely long walks due to no public transport at the time of our stay.

Room was nice Hotel was beautiful and clean Large bathtub and shower combo were great Breakfast was made great by Giovanni who gave his clients extremely personal and friendly attention. Would highly recommend to business travelers

Struttura moderna, anche se piuttosto trascurata, sino a sfiorare la sciatteria. Nel complesso, però, per niente male.

La tenda che oscura la finestra era mezza staccata, quindi la luce dei lampioni sulla strada prima, del solo poi, mi ha impedito di dormire bene. Manca la WiFi nelle camere, ed è grave per una struttura che ospita in massima parte businessmen!

Un buon albergo in generale dall'ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Camera ampia.

Mancanza di zanzariere in una zona infestata di zanzare. Sui muri dell'albergo c'e ne erano a decine schiacchiate sui muri. Assenti ingiustificati i fornellini anti zanzara
