facilities and nothing to do in/near the hotel
staff - very friendly
A/C out of order. Almost every hotel give WIFI free. This one charge for wifi. No free tv channels all paid once.
Location and the cleaness was ok
The room was extremely hot and the heating and air conditioning did not work, despite requests to the staff to carry out repairs. It was also unusual in this day ad age to have to pay for the WIFI.
The shuttle bus service into town was excellent!
Very helpful and nice staff. Alessandro helped me check in quickly and was very very nice that he booked my trip to airport according to my schedule. As well as Francesco, Alessandro's colleague, he also very helpful. Very much appreciated.
It is a long way from the centre of Rome and there is no easy public transport apart from an irregular bus or a 15 minute walk to a train station. A taxi cost €25 each way. There is a shuttle for €3 return but timings may not suit you. Only 1 restaurant on site which is expensive.
I would guess in the summer the pool would be nice, but it is closed the rest of the year.
The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and was a little dated. There was no possibility to walk to a local bar or restaurant for a change of scenery and to travel to Rome centre was an expensive option in a taxi (40-50€ each way)
The bar staff and the consierge/ bell boy were very helpful and friendly. The Beira Moretti served at the bar was nice too.
There's no Free Wi-Fi (even in lobby) Extra and Expensive Breakfast
When I made my booking I requested non smoking but when I checked in they gave me a smoking room on the 14 th floor so i asked them to change it. They were happy to do it they gave us a smaller room on the ground floor with no view which was ok but it took ages for them to make the changes. Which resulted in a line up of people. I would of expected that my booking was a non smoking room.
We've stayed at this hotel twice before so we were happy to stay again.
distance to Rome
Food at the restaurant is not very good. no bikes you can rent, so you are a little blocked in the evenings if you don't ant to go to the center. It is very easy to get from and to the airport(common bus and hotel bus), once you know, the hotel should document that better.
Bus service to the city is excellent, summing pool and the comfort at the swimming pool is good. little shop at the hotel
Everything was really excellent
Limited free wifi and had to pay for secure parking
Good, comfortable room and good facilities in the hotel. Shuttle bus into Rome was great! Good value hotel.
The pool closes at 7pm sharp- inconveniently early for an Italian resort in Summer. Further, the pool was closed on a reasonably sunny and warm day as a result of early morning rains and inexplicably not re-opened. This was a real negative when one of the deciding reasons for a stay at this out-of-town location was the swimming pool. In addition, the circular logic the staff used to explain the closing was mind-numbingly illogical. Further, the disposition of the front desk manager, a rude guy whose attitude was more suited to a prison guard or a Carabinieri, didn't help. This got even worse when the bus to the city center was an unexplainable 50 minutes late- even though we had seen the bus pass the hotel. We received an untrue and convoluted explanation and eventually we took a taxi- at an expense of €24. While I thought it was impossible to get a bad cup of coffee in Italy, I was wrong. The coffee at breakfast was horrendous. These incidents marred an otherwise decent, if not unremarkable stay.
The overall price of the accommodation was hard to beat and the rooms were clean and basically well-appointed. However the high cost of the a la carte drinks and food at the bar quickly added €164 to our 5 day stay.
When we got there the lobby seemed very nice and assumed our room would be nice as well; for what we paid the room it was a huge disappointment. Very outdated, carpets were discusting (very old, worn out and dirty) and the bed was very hard. The description described breakfast, a shuttle and wifi but it didnt say that its not included. They charged us an extra 87 euro when we arrived to add breakfast and get a "better" room. She told us 29 euro more and failed to mention 29 per night, not total. Room was same as the original, only differnce was two chairs placed in front of the sofa. When we told them we were unhappy with our room, their solution was to have us shell out more money for a different room. You also have to pay for wifi by the hour and to utilize the shuttle. Food and drinks at the hotel were ridiculously overpriced. Staff was rude. They also swiped our credit card, said it didnt work so we pulled out cash to pay for the room and ended up charging us twice. We felt like we got ripped off and regretted our choice in staying here. Pool was not worth all the hassle. Breakfast without "upgrading" your room is 16.20 euro per person per night.
The pool was nice and clean and was a good place to cool off after a hot day of sight seeing however it closed early.
-Bar staff were incredibly slow and upset if more than one drink was ordered -Reception staff were incredibly unhelpful, would often completely ignore waiting guests and ringing phones -Shuttle bus from the hotel to the city centre changed pick up location without notice and didn't stop to pick up waiting guests -No travel desk in the hotel for booking tours and trips or advice from staff on where to do this -Food in the restaurant was terrible and overpriced
-Pool area was clean with plenty of sun beds -Rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels and toiletries each day
It seems the new trick with Rome hotels is to have the usual breakfast (which in my experience is $8-$12) and make it an "English breakfast" for like $25! The eggs are terrible chafing dish stuff and I had to rush upstairs to to spit out the "bacon" which was fatty and easy to chew as a belt. The next day we requested the less expensive breakfast. There was no definition between the areas and one of my clients took the yogurt. Well she was subjected to rude abuse by the attendant. I have used this hotel with my clients many times over the years. I will not return!
Dirty carpets. Staff pretended there was a phone problem and hung up when there was a language/communication problem.
Good breakfast. Nice room. Shuttle from hotel to city.
I phoned in advance to check if this hotel was on a metro line - I was told Its very clise by with regular shuttles Its NOT close by and the 'shuttle' is a coach that goes in to the the city at various times throughout the day ( usually not at times you would really want to go!) one time it left 20 minutes late and the next 5 minutes early ... on arrival into Rome ... we called the number on your website - not working. Had to get new number and I called a few times ref where to find your 'shuttle' gave up and got a taxi. Wasted lots of time out of our precious short stay with this messing about ref shuttle! there was NO information / signs at the bus terminal to say when and where your coach picked up - we asked bus drivers and staff there an no one knew! While the hotel staff were friendly ... I could not say they were helpful. NO information on local bus OR even when your own coach would go ... somtimes it was hard to know if we had missed one OR if it was running late. Also we were sold bus tickets when they staff knew the bus had gone so we again paid for a taxi! so while it felt like good value when you add on taxi and then the city tax ( which I know is out of your control BUT we could have been informed about it at booking AND should you charge it for a child as well as each adult??)
Nice facilities and pool. It was clean and nice and quiet. Staff were 'friendly' BUT certainly not going to help you! Location was ok IF you had better shuttle service to city - OR at least local bus information available I was looking at booking this hotel for a large group ( international gathering) and there is just no way with this shuttle connection issue. we would need a better service for getting delegates in and out of city with them having to pay taxi fares
This would have been the perfect hotel to stay in if it was close to the city centre. If you are touring it is a distance, however the bus service provided by the hotel is cheap. I spent most if my money on cabs as the bus does not go to Roma Termini.
Some of the reception staff were brilliant. Room was big and spacious and I loved the shower. Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. Staff serving we're friendly and helpful Bus drivers were extremely friendly and always greeted you with a smile.
Bus into town was sometimes late and the menu in the restaurant could be more varied, but still really liked the hotel overall!
The pool area was very nice, staff were very helpful, bar had a good selection of drinks, comfortable rooms, everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Very easy to get to town using the shuttle bus.
A bit far away from center, but close to vantican.
Much better than most hotels in the center Rome.
No EU power outlets, few power outlets over all and badly placed. No ironboard available, food was expensive and very average, noisy aircond. Staff stressed. Breakfast OK and the warm food tasteless.
Everything is ordinary but it works most of the time. Good selection of fruits at the breakfast.
the rugs were stained in the room
Everyhting else was clean and employers were very pleasant
