Ease of access from airport, buses and railway station, and access to other towns; good variety and choice of eating and shopping nearby. Not a lot of local information other than posters in reception. Colour scheme of rooms was 'interesting' - modern minimalist. |

Rooms were big enough, no noise from the street. Everything was really clean and location of the hotel was great. Breakfast should include always, even if I knew this earlier, it's usually the best part duing the hotelstay... Would also be nice if the whole hotelstaff knew english at least somehow. |

Conveniently located near train station The lighting in the room was quite poor making it difficult to apply make-up for instance. Also, no English channels on TV. |

Our first impression was very positive. It was so close to the train/bus station & a pleasant walk to the funicular which took us up to see the old town. The receptionist was very well presented & she wore badges indicating she could converse in english & spanish. This was an immediate relief. Our room was perfect for what we needed it for (an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight). |

It was very central, within walking distance of the central train station.of the city. The breakfast was adequate. I found that the staff were "proper", but not overly friendly or especially helpful. The room was very dark in terms of decor, and poorly lit. |

Good size room, short walk from the station, bus stops a few minutes walk away to take you into the upper town and back although it's a nice walk to the funicular too. Hotel staff recommended La Bruchetta restaurant a few minutes walk away - Fabulous food and service. Needs a bigger sign outside we walked past it. Doh! Had to stop at a bar and ask tho :-) |

The quietness of the rooms. The friendless of the barman. On the whole the staff were really very nice and helpful but it would have been more pleasant to have been greeted on entering the breakfast room and a smile would have helped make us feel more comfortable. Perhaps an explanation of what was available to eat instead of being left to find out for ourselves. |

Good city hotel, helpful staff, excellent room and bathroom with modern decor, high ceilings, well kept together and clean, towels everyday - bathroom had a balcony, good minibar selection. Good location - walk to the old town Funicular is about 10-12 minutes, lots of good restaurants nearby. Nice hotel with well deserved good reputation Lots of street noise (road side room), no restaurant, cold buffet breakfast was expensive (15 euro) no in room kettle/coffee making facilities, nearest car park (30 yards) had a really tight spiral ramp that was a bit hairy for my stupidly wide car but there are several others nearby - none of this was actually a problem but I'll mention them anyway |

The Mercure was very close to my conference centre and to all restaurants/bars and within walking distance to all attractions. The staff were polite and friendly. Only 1 English speaking TV channel (CNN) and no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. |

Where comfort and elegance combine, this hotel aims to provide every convenience to travellers and is centrally located close to the funicular railway. |
Looking over a lovely park, far from the traffic noise, yet just 100 metres from the characteristic funicular leading to Città Alta, this hotel provides the ideal base for your stay in Bergamo. |
Located in the centre of the city, the hotel is within easy walking distance from the shopping area. There is also quick access to the old part of the city, Bergamo Alta. |
Just 300 meters from the Railway Station and close to Bergamo's historic city centre and monuments, this hotel enjoys a fabulous location. |
