On the fifth floor of a 19th-century building with an elevator, this b&b is less than half a mile from Repubblica Metro Station. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom.
Score from 222 reviews Excellent
Just 650 ft from Re di Roma Metro, this modern hotel is in Rome’s San Giovanni area. It has an elegant lounge, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioned rooms with satellite LCD TVs.
Score from 884 reviews Excellent
The Hotel delle Province has spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and serves a rich breakfast on its roof garden. It is in east Rome, a 5-minute walk from Bologna Metro Station.
Score from 710 reviews Very good
Offering rooms with free Wi-Fi and a satellite TV with Sky channels, this bed and breakfast hotel is in a modern building of 4 floors serviced by an elevator.
Score from 594 reviews Good
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.
We basically had to take a cab or train everywhere. Unfortunately was not walking distance to downtown, nor in a good area.
The breakfast is very poor. Also, there is no change, eery day the same white cheese and the same yellow cheese, taht is not even pre-cut .. Also the scrambled eggs are really artificial, they should have omelette or boiled eggs at least.
The hotel is in a good location for me with easy access to the metro. Clean well appointed rooms. Superb staff, they (Andrew) recommended and made a reservation for us at an excellent restaurant just round the corner (Da Enrico, Via Di Lando 30) It is a good base to see Rome
The WiFi is somewhat poor, I could connect on my first evening but after that it was not possible
Bar was great, and overall appearance was nice.
Breakfast was not as good as advertised. Pictures in this case are deceiving. Our room needed to be vacuumed better. Quite a bit of debris in corners.
Good location - nice neighborhood, convenient metro and buses that quickly get you to the city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
Payment policy. Preauthorizing money on my credit card 3 times was a bit too much of a precaution, extending to the point it almost looks like a segregation by nationality. We booked a room with free cancellation up to 2 weeks in advance. The hotel preauthorized the amount of 1 night stay twice - at the time of booking and at the end of the free cancellation period. So far so good - that looks like a normal practice. Money gets released after 2 weeks. Then, in the middle of our stay, they preauthorized 80% of the total amount. Upon checkout, instead of just keeping those 80% and charging us the rest of the amount, they charged us a separate 100%. This is very inconvenient - they're blocking a lot of money on my credit card without any good reason. We might've needed that money for something else. Never happened to us before, even with much more expensive places. This wasn't our first stay with that hotel chain, but might very well be our last.
near the metro & buses esp 61 affordable restaurants nearby, away from maddening crowd, market in street nearby, fridge not full of your junk
shower over bath, prefer walk in sugary breakfast - sweet croissants- I ask you!
Location away from the centre of Rome is laid back, great restaurants near by. Checkout Il Tunnel. Excellent staff too.
Do more with the atrium area,it could be a real bonus
Overall very good experience. The staff was helpful, metro station is very nearby. All other facilities like supermarket, Cash machine around the hotel.
Almost nothing, everything was good.
Location (close to Villa Torlonia and the Metro station). Everything was clean. Breakfast was good.
Value for money Good room size Staff friendly Train station bologna walking distance , connect to all over the city.
Limited dining options Breakfast spread less
Not in the centre, quiet but very near Metro stop, only 3 stops to Termini. Plenty of shops near the hotel too, everything you need. I liked the market stalls around the corner. Been 2x now, will come back next year
For first time guests I think it would be difficult to find
The location, dar from center. And not much room for The suitcases
After arrived, the staff gave me a key of a room that was already occupied by another person, I used the key to open the door and found a man lying there, so scaring! The bath towels were not changed and I have to go to the reception to change it when asked, the basin not cleaned with detergent and is oily!
Didn't understand we had booked a double room for two when we harried they said it was booked for one person so we had to pay a further 25 euros. I always thought that they charge more for solo occupancy but no apparently not in Rome not very clear at all. Not impressed
Very comfortable beds. Staff were generally pleasant, depending on who was on duty. Bar staff extremely helpful.
No sockets in room in convenient locations for phones or laptops. Not a suitable hotel for business travellers. WiFi signal very poor.
