Score from 400 reviews Fabulous
Very nice clean hotel, with helpful and friendly staff. The ambient is modern and very good looking. The breakfast was excellent, with various things to choose from, the cheese cake was magical:) We also liked the location, we like walking, the station was a 20 minutes walk from the hotel. We had a nice time here.
The only thing we didn"t like was the wifi, we had to ask for a new code every day, and every time we left the room and came back we had to enter the code again, but there was no argument about getting a new code, so it was not a big problem.
comfortable room, helpful staff, good parking, good breakfast
The comfort, breakfast (not included in the price but still good)
Breakfast and dinners. Staff friendly once they got to know you. Bedrooms adequate. No BBC World News on tv. Beautiful gardens. Close to station so easy to get to airport
The green swimming pool which still features on the website is a disgrace. Must have been closed for months, possibly a year to be in that state. Should have fish in not weeds and algae. Cold Jacuzzi. Turkish Bath which was only a tiled room with a shower! Ridiculous marketing.
We had an excellent stay. We especially loved the garden with swimming pool, the spacious terrace and the tasty local dishes in the restaurant. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was very clean, soundproof and furnished with a nice, comfortable double bed. We had read about the rather rundown neighbourhood surrounding the hotel. It turned out to be okay; people were friendly and helpful, and we never felt unsafe while going out late at night. Unfortunately, we were not able use the swimming pool due to the weather. The water was too cold to swim. Instead we enjoyed the hotel’s excellent fitness, sauna and hammam in the evenings.
We were rather disappointed about the poor quality of the instant coffee served at breakfast, whereas breakfast itself was delicious. The second morning we ordered coffee at the bar, which was excellent, but unfortunately charged extra. It sounds trivial but to us Italy equals excellent coffee!
the bed was too firm for my husband. He has a back problem. It was fine for me.
Helpful , friendly staff. Large airy rooms. Excellent restaurant. All very good value
On late midnight arrival bright friendly very competent greeting, immediate unexpected room upgrade given
Superbly nothing to dislike a good european hotel
Stunning gardens and beautiful room with all the facilities one needs.
Reception staff and breakfast staff rather offhand. Breakfast , although very varied , was somewhat depleted at times and the bread was poor.
The pool, the bike rental, the grounds, the bed was very comfortable. The staff had good english and were friendly and helpful. Great restaurant close by called Pizzeria Antoine - AMAZing
The restaurant menu was quite limited and didn't change. Communication on times for Breakfast was confusing. Wifi has coverage but very low bandwidth.
The comfortable bed and the big shower
The poor wifi connection
Excellent hotel, best in Bari. Breakfasts, rooms, location r fantastic.
More or less what we expected for a 4 star hotel. Everything went well and we had no real problems. The only minor issue was some of our devices had some trouble getting to the log in page for the Wi-Fi, but once logged in Wi-Fi was pretty good. Finally, when we checked out around 6 am, there was a half naked (bottom half) older woman lying down in the hallway, presumably quite drunk. Scared the hell out of me until I realized she was drunk and not seriously ill.
Having to leave so early, I wish I could have stayed a few more days.
WiFi wasn't working, staff offered to move us at night but then refused to help us move, tried to give us an unsuitable room then left us and our two young children without bed linen until past midnight. Also they were really rude and the manager refused to speak to us about the problems we had had.
Beautiful large room, bed and bathroom and ample parking.
Expensive bar and is slightly out of the main city area
Rooms, garden, breakfast
A bit too far to walk downtown Bari
Reception, lobby, business center, restaurant, rooms
Limited guarded parking place Limited chaise lounges in the swimming pool Lack of toiletries for a 4 star hotel
Beautiful setting in a former nobleman's estate; good food in restaurant; helpful staff, large modern rooms.
The hotel is set in lovely grounds, and the rooms are very spacious.
The location is a little far from the old town, although to be fair I knew this when I booked. The furnishing in what was supposed to be a "Superior Room" was very Spartan, to say the least. The breakfast service was completely chaotic as a result of crowding too many tables around the buffet area, meaning that guests have to climb over each other to get to the food or their table.
The sewer smell all over the room (601). Bathroom outdated and unconfortable.
Great facilities, lovely setting, free parking, good size room (family room), good breakfast. Used as a stop off from Bari airport before heading south the next day, so perfect for us
Not much outside/around the hotel, wasn't a problem for us as we didn't need to venture out
Beautiful grounds and really well presented. Even has a nice little gym with decent equipment. Staff very helpful and pleasant.
There wasn't enough space around the pool and it was rather shaded so not a lot of opportunities for sunbathing. The walk to the centre isn't too long (about 20 mins) but it's not very pleasant, especially at night.
We had a problem with one of our party and reception handled it professionally and efficiently.
Perhaps not in the best area, although handy for the station which we did use.
The hotel was excellent in terms of facilities, cleanliness, quality of the rooms and the grounds/pool area are lovely. It is a short walk to the centre of town and to transport links by train, we took trips to Rome and Lecce while there. The staff were friendly and very helpful, it was an excellent stay overall and Bari is a fantastic city
