Bari is really pretty lame. The walk to the hotel is down one road which I must admit I didn't fancy late at night. A fellow guest told me Bari has 'a higher crime rate per capita than London', which doesn't sound too great.
Obviously it was only April, so the pool wasn't active, but it looked like it'd be nice if it had water in it.
Staff were professional, hotel looked nice inside and out, Bed was comfy, everything was clean.
Food in the restaurant was really nice and actually pretty reasonable - a little pricey by Bari standards, but not by this-part-of-Europe standards.
There are some great places to go near Bari - Lecce is an hour and a bit on the train and is FAR better, but the highlight is Matera. Trust me, sack off Bari and go to Matera. I literally ran out of superlatives to describe it.
