Hotel La Meridiana  

This is an excellent place to stay. If I am ever in this part of the world again I can guarantee that I will be staying here. The man on the front desk was very helpful, the room was perfect and the location close to the beach was ideal for walking. I cannot say a bad word about this hotel.

A lovely peaceful, family run hotel,traditional.Ideal for visiting Venice or a beach holiday on Lido.Affordable, thats not easy in Venice.Good size rooms and good breakfast choice.Very pleasant and helpful staff.Ten mins walk to vaporetto,fifteen min ride to venice.Situated in very attractive residential area. We will certainly be coming back for another stay.

La meridiana does not have a lot of facilities as you would expect at this price level. the only thing we felt was lacking was tea/coffee making facility in the room.

Quiet place to stay

The staff is very rude with no clear instruction for the city tour. No wifi as you have to paid for it for the entire stay. No respect of customer as we supposed to paid 230 euro they charged us 50euros extra for no reason. We gave the invoice and showed but still they refused the amount we booked earlier. Its almost 25mins walk from the town. Not recommended stay as they are plenty of hotel near the town in Lido. Never ever come back for the stay as we feel cheated with the amount we paid.

This was the first time we have stayed on the Lido, but that is the place to stay if you enjoy a little more peace, a swim in the sea if the weather is good and much better value for money. The historic centre is only a short waterbus ride away, and to couple up great walks along the waters edge on the Lido plus exploring the city makes a great break. The hotel is a lovely 1930 old fashioned place, and if the weather is good breakfast in the garden is a real great start to the day. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk along the canal to the waterbus stop, and being on the Lido it is easy to get to by boat from the airport, and also just a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would stay there again!

The hotel could make more of the bar - we thought it was closed, but an enquiry lead to a couple of drinks on the terrace.

Good buffet breakfast. Reasonably close to beach. 10 mins walk to public beach, 5 mins walk to private beach (on which apparently the public can sit & swim, despite having private beach huts)

The Hotel La Meridiana was a treasure hidden in the midst of the Venice/Lido Island area. Upon hearing horror stories from guests that paid twice a much in Venice for a phone-booth sized, filthy room, I knew I had make a great choice with booking.com! La Meridiania had adequate, clean, air-conditioned rooms. The staff was reserved but helpful when approached. It is very quiet and has a quiet, shady, outdoor dining area enclosed by a tall hedge and trees, making it superior to higher priced hotels in high traffic areas. It is 250 meters from a beach and a bus stop. If so inclined, one could take a longer stroll to the busy M. Elisabetha (sp?) street. The breakfast is adequate at best but it was hard finding anywhere on the island with breakfast. On Lepanto street, it is a little out of the way so get a map and enjoy your stay!

I loved the hotel but wish that wireless internet would be made more available to the rooms.

The location was superb, 5 min walk to beach/bus stop, 15 min to vaporetto station/restaurants. Breakfast was good and could be taken outside in the lovely garden. The style of the hotel is Tyrolean and our top floor room was huge in comparison to others we had stayed at. The ceiling beams added to the the ambience of a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. Walking down 3 flights of stairs instead of taking the lift was an enjoyable option. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is on Lido, quiet and ease, compare to the main island of Veince. I like the windows of the room. The staff on 28 April was helpful and friendly.

La connexion internet est chère. Les hôtes d'accueil ne parlent pas courrament français.

Ruhige Lage auf dem Lide. Strandnähe. Nur ca. 10 Minuten zur Vaprettostation zu laufen. Kontinentales Frühstück (Weißbrot, helle Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt, Obst, Müslis, Kuchen, Marmelade, Honig, Ei, Saft, Milch, Kaffee, Tee). Nettes Personal. Sauberes Zimmer, sauberes Bad.

Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag das Gleiche, zwei Sorten Wurst, eine Sorte Käse, 2 Sorten Joguhrt ... Für den Preis war es aber in Ordnung.
