Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Es war sehr laut von der Straße.

The location was good, it was a short walk to the city center. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small and not too comfortable. The "mini-bar" only had water and coca-cola. It would have been nice to have other beverages as well. The walls and ceiling had some cracks. The bathroom was also quite small and there was no blow-dryer. Although there was hand soap provided for use in the dispenser, there was not any body soap or shampoo. The staff needed to be reminded to replace our bath towels on two occasions.

It was lose to the city center

I got what I'd paid for. However, despite the receptionist was ok, the maid was a bit hurry, took off our luggage from the room in our absence, removed the soap and a chocolate from the table:)

Stuff and location.

It was very centrally located (about a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum) and the staff were very friendly. I was given a map and told the best way to get to all of the sights and which buses would bring me back to the hotel.

Although the bed was big and quite comfortable, the room itself and the bathroom were very small. There was no soap in the bathroom and you have to pay 5 euro per day to use the internet.

Only the location. Apenas a localização é boa. Mas o hotel é péssimo, em relação à qualidade dos quartos e dos funcionários. Chegar num quarto com cama e torneira quebrados e ter que pagar pelo conserto não foi uma atitude honesta do funcionário. Tamanho total do banheiro 77x205cm. Nunca mais voltar...

The Hotel Merulana Star was worse than we expected. Although it was simple, and we previously knew that (because of low prices), it was a really small bedroom. And the bathroom was tiny (very very small - shower 77x65cm + bathroom 140x77cm). It did not have a bath indeed, but the bathroom was so tiny that a person could barely move his body, arms and legs when he was inside it. The worst thing is that when we have just entered the bedroom, we discovered that one of the beds was broken. We asked the receptionist to change our bedroom, but he said it was impossible. So, we asked him to fix the bed (because we need it working for sleeping at night). We went out, and when we went back (we were tired) at night, he was still fixing it. So, we had to wait him at the stairs (as there were not any chairs at the reception desk). He eventually decided to change that bed, removing the broken one to another place. When we were doing the check out, we had a surprise: he asked us to pay for the service of fixing the bed, saying that we have broken it. We remembered him and explained that it was already broken when we just entered the room, but he did not listen to us. He was even very rude, impolite and we felt almost threatened. So, we had to pay it. Because of that kind of corrupted and unfair behaviour, we give all people a strong advice: do not go there. Avoid this place.

No,no,no! Don´t stay there. They didn´t have aircondition, the rooms were very small, the traffic on the street terrible, the staff didn´t speak english, no soap and toiletpaper in the bathroom.

The hotel was within walking distance of the main sites we wanted to visit. It was also close to public transportation when we wanted to go further than where we could walk. The hotel staff was helpful and polite. We were given a map and a good explanation (in English) of where the tourist spots were and how to get there. Right outside our door there were several sidewalk cafes that provided excellent food and service.

The room was small for the cost but the location was prime. We went to Rome to see the sites, not stay in our room, so it was fine. We would stay there again.

Looked for a buget hotel in the middle of Rome so that we could walk every where. Got exactly what we wanted. Eg. Colloseum was 8 mins. Walk away. Staff were very friendly, could speak English, looked after our bags before the booking in time so that we could walk around the city and again looked after them after checking out time so that we could spend the day exploring before our flight home. Room had a small fridge, which was very useful as food was not part of the deal, so we could store milk! The description given and costing was exactly as described so read the details

The Merulana Starr is in the middle of the city and we were not used to the noise!

η τοποθεσια κοντα στους σταθμους τραινων, μετρο και λεωφορειων αλλα υπαρχουν αμετρητα ξενοδοχεια στην περιοχη.

δεν αναγραφοταν πως δεν εχει πρωινο (εγραφε πως δεν εχει γευματα) κατι που ανεβασε το κοστος αφου τα μικρογευματα στην πολη ειναι ακριβα. το δωματιο ειχε ρωγμες, κρεβατι ντιβανι με προσκεφαλο ντεκορ για να στηριζεται ενα φωτιστικο γραφειου, σαπουνι για χερια εδωσαν αφου το ζητησαμε με την δικαιολογια πως δεν ειχε γιατι ειναι χαμηλου κοστους (90 ευρω η βραδια!), με κλειστο παραθυρο ακουγαμε ολο το βραδυ την κινηση της μερουλανα και τις φωνες των ιταλων (αν ειχε ζεστη;), φυσικα οι υπολοιποι ενοικοι ηταν επισης πολυ διπλα μας. μου θυμησε φοιτητικο χοστελ αλλα σε τιμη ξενοδοχειου. μην το προτιμησετε λογω τιμης.

Местоположение, очень чисто убирали номер.

Очень шумно в номере. Оч маленькая ванная комната. Старые, неопрятные одеяла!

Situation géographique

-Rideaux très sales -fuite chasse d'eau non réparée malgré le signalement. Donc énormément de bruit. -Robinet défectueux. -Contour du bac à douche noir de moisissure ainsi que le cabine de douche. -La deuxième chambre dite économique n'avait pas de mini-bar, alors que c'était précisé . Le design et l'aménagement n'ont rien à voir avec la photo.

Já tinha ficado em outro hotel em Roma, mas dessa vez escolhi esse por indicação de meus pais. Simplesmente excelente, ainda mais considerando custo e benefício! Localização perfeita: bem situado próximo ao metro, mas não muito perto do Termini (que é meio estranho...). Quarto agradável, arejado, limpo, espaçoso, com uma vista simpática da avenida merulana. A equipe foi extremamente atenciosa, o recepcionista foi quase um guia local: cedeu mapa, indicou os melhores pontos e como ir, orientou os ônibus de ida e volta, locais com desconto para comer, enfim facilitou demais a visita. Voltareie recomendo com certeza!

Não inclui café da manhã, mas tem confeitarias e cafés baratinhos em redor.

Понравилось близкое и удобное местоположение отеля от исторического центра и железнодорожного вокзала. Чистота в отеле и приветливый персонал. Отсутствие резервации денег на карте. Не шумно.

A localização é boa. Fica perto de estação de metrô e próxima da estação central de Termini, o que facilita a chegada e saída para pontos turísticos. Além de ficar no caminho para alguns dos mais importantes pontos turísticos como o Coliseu e o Fórum Romano. O atendimento foi cordial e atencioso, dando dicas sobre os principais pontos da cidade. A limpeza do local e a tranquilidade são pontos fortes do hostel. Mesmo ficando em uma avenida bem central em Roma, não tivemos problemas com barulhos. Fica ao lado de muito bons restaurantes, com boas opções de jantares e boas opções de preços. O hostel conta com serviço de quarto, uma quase exceção ente hosteis.

Apesar de anunciar que aceita cartão de crédito, não estava aceitando. O atendente disse que havia acontecido um problema com a maquineta de cartões, mas não pareceu muito convincente.Sendo assim, mesmo com duas diárias lá a máquina não ficou consertada. O fato de não oferecer café da manhã também foi um ponto não muito legal, pois faz com que percamos um certo tempo na procura por um lugar para comer antes de sair para conhecer a cidade.

Muri della camera pieni di strisciate di scarpe e parecchio sporchi. Bagno molto piccolo ma tutto sommato adeguato. Il rapporto qualità- prezzo può sembrare buono (€ 45 per una singola) ma, a mio avviso, è decisamente eccessivo soprattutto considerati I prezzi delle città europee, anche quelle più turistiche (è assolutamente normale trovare una singola con colazione a € 30 a Parigi, in zone centrali mentre a Roma, questo è stato il prezzo minore che ho spuntato...)

La cordialità, la gentilezza e l'efficienza con cui il sig. Giuseppe (insieme al suo staff) ci ha accolto dopo che, per un problema con il B&B a suo tempo prenotato, lo staff di booking ci ha "riprotetto" presso il Merulana Star. Per tutto il soggiorno è stato gentilissimo ed efficientissimo nel consigliarci su come trascorrere bei momenti a Roma. Le camere, seppur strette e vecchie, sono mantenute pulite e si vede l'impegno profuso per cercare di migliorare la situazione.

La struttura è vecchiotta, probabilmente molto trascurata da una gestione precedente. Molto (forse troppo) piccoli I bagni che meriterebbero una ristrutturazione.

La posizione

il bagno è piccolissimo, il lavandino mini, camera stretta e rumorosa. Prezzo troppo alto per la camera offerta.

C'est un peu bruyant mais pour le prix...

Everything was clean and simple, I had a really small room, but what do I need if I came to walk and do the sights, not stay at the hotel the whole day? The guys at the reception were nice and looked trustfull. There are a lot of caffees and bars nearby and 2 metro stations, the way to Termini takes 10 min, which is very comfortable cause both bus and train to the airport go from there.

The only minus was that Merulana is a big street so it was noisy in the evening and morning, but I didn't care anyway and slept quite well.
