Room and bathroom wasn't very big, but, hey, it was supposed to be for 1 person :)
Very near to colosseum and other sites. 15 min walk to main train station and a metro station is 5 min walk away. Use the metro to go to Vatican city. Other attractions are at walkable distance.
Location, good eating places close by, helpful staff
Rooms could use a bit of redecoration. Cleanliness and drainage should be improved. One can hear noise from adjacent rooms.
They had a problem with the bathroom and re-located us to a 3 star hotel + breakfast 10 mins away by taxi. Taking the metro was too hectic due to luggages.
Very hard to spot and find. Old lift, hence we had to go up and down twice.
- Only location
- Extremely small bathrooms - Beds are almost in front of the doors so you can hear everything clearly - You can find better hotels for same price
It was a really nice place. The location was fine; around 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station and the coliseum. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
The air conditioner didn't work.
Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, hair dryer, soap and shower gel in bathroom.Best place to stay in city center, perfect price, free wifi.
Location, right near colloseum, good room size, good bathroom
Street was extremely noisy in morning, hard to sleep with and no WiFi in rooms, only at reception desk
Very close to metro station and about a 10 min walk to Roma Termini and the colosseum. You get a map. Has a fridge in the room (very useful) with a mini-bar
Staff are very nice however we had a hard time communicating both in English and Spanish. Rooms are non-smoking; however the smoke comes through bathroom vents (specially at night and early am). Felt like someone was siting and smoking right there! Also located on a very busy street; therefore very loud at night (we had to leave the windows open as it was still hot at night and the smoke smelled too much) The staff guy was very nice and let us Change rooms at no extra cost; however it was still loud and the smoke also got through. They automatically charge your credit card for the first night, which was not mentioned anywhere and I was planning to pay it all cash.
Very friendly staff, always eager to help. From the very begining Rino explains and shows you on the map how to get to different points of interest. Nice walk through the park to Colloseum. Very clean and nice rooms. It is nice to be put in a good mood from the first greeting and throughout your stay.
A bit noisy traffic in the morning.
Really comfortable room. We had a good nights sleep after long days walking around Rome. The staff were really nice and helpful. We liked that there was a refrigerator. Really great value for money!!!
The shower was a bit messy. It was hard to keep the water from flooding the floor in the bathroom. Also location was a bit out of the way, but good for the price.
Easy to find, near to restaurants, rooms have everything which you need, daily cleaning, it's safe, quite area, staff friendly, even minibar in the rooms
Great location, clean rooms, safe neighborhood. A decent place with the basics at a very good price.
Wifi, some times a bad smell from the toilet.
Excellent location Very helpful, friendly staff Clean room
Noisy as on main road
Was clean... That's about it.
Stayed for 4 nights, majority of the time the staff on front desk couldn't speak English. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable! If you book breakfast with the hotel you have to go to a little cafe next door and have a limited choice of one pastry and a coffee. 2 of the mornings there was mould on some of them.
Close to everything Helpful staff, even with little to no English Small but comfortable rooms
Very small shower Busy street, so very loud unless the windows are closed No air conditioning and it's very hot in the summertime
Staff was very nice and the room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels were given. This location is a good spot, barely a ten min walk from the Termini station and close to other metro or bus stations that will take to closer sites, the colissum is also behind this apartment.
I traveled with a friend and I was a little nervous to see how small the room was when I first walked into the room, but for the money value and the loction plus the fact if your in Roma to sight see you are barely in your room except to shower and sleep so the size was not a issue.
1. Very good location: not far from Termini (10 minutes), but not so close (because Termini isn't the best place in Rome). Also hotel is very close to the main attractions (10 min to Colosseum, additionally you can walk by foot to Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo). To reach the Vatican city you need to pass only a few metro stations (metro station is also near the hotel). There is the supermarket Conad near the hotel. It's very convenient 2. Very helpful staff: when I had some questions, staff always helped and told me where I can contact. 3. Very comfortable room: single room is small, but there are all that you need. Cleaning was every day and it was very good. At weekend nights was very noisy from the cars (if windows look to Via Merulana) but I don't think that is the disadvantage of hotel. 4. The breakfast is served in the bar at first floor. It includes croissant on your choice and coffee (or tea). For me it was enough. This is a standard breakfast for most of Rome hotels.
The wi-fi was paid. But in Rome a lot of place where you can find free wi-fi.
Staff at front desk were more than helpful. Nice and tidy, very close to everything nearby. No complaints!
location - 3 min avay from Collosseo, 5 min from metro, 10 min to termini. cafe and gellateria are at the door. Clean room, good pillows. Cheap, for young peple with minimum demands.
too much noise from the street traffic, ask for "quite" room. wi-fi was working properly only 2 days out of 4 (better reception from free Pepe cafe's wi-fi). Lights went off 2 times.
Location and staff were great , sadly there was a rolling power cut while we were there but were given free cornettos and cappacuno, We picked the budget double and it's small but if your there too see Rome then it dosnt matter
Excellent position for a short stay in Rome. Being very close to the centre of Capital, with quite at hand all means of transportation, makes the hotel attractive. Quiet area. Staff polite.
Very good place for a citytrip to Rome Very friendly and helpful staff Near a metro station (ca. 400 mtr) Free Wifi in front of the hotel
No breakfast, but enough possibilities in the neighbourhood.
Security. Helpfulness of reception staff.
Can't think of anything.
Very friendly and helpful personnel, availability of WIFI, close to metro, station, places of interest, good price.
