Everything great break, but very expensive!!!

No iron or coffee making facilities in the room & they need to invest in sound proofing the hotel

I really enjoyed our stayed, it was all very laid back but it was also luxurious. Great location. Free internet. The suite was perfect, romantic, peaceful, lovely bed and comfortable. The staff were pleasent and helpful but not in your face and I found the drinks etc were not to expensive for this class of hotel. The only part of the hotel experience that disappointed was the restuarant, the food was rubbish and over priced and the restuarant had no atmosphere, dont bother. I would certainly stay there again but skip the restuarant.

The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walk from St. Marks square and many of the attractions. The private jetty was a lovely way to arrive from the airport and the knowledge of the reception staff was excellent and they couldn't do enough for you

The rooms weren't as luxurious as they looked on the Internet and I was surprised that the main reception area wasn't as grandiose as the pictures I had seen

Beautiful hotel, courteous warm and helpful staff. Truly a five star experience.

Very friendly welcoming staff; marvellous location, has its own water taxi stop so arrival direct from airport (and departure to airport) easy and convenient. Cleanliness of rooms was excellent.

Interior decoration of both rooms we booked was rather tired: stained wallpaper was a little at odds with all other facilities. Breakfast is expensive.

The Hotel Metropole has the perfect location in Venice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff was helpful and nice. The bar is charming and serves a wonderful list of cocktails, wine and pre and post dinner drinks.

Great location near St. Mark's and excellent views of the lagoon. Our room was very clean. An eclectic bar area provides a good place to relax after a day of site seeing.

The room was a bit dark and a little cramped for a family of four but more than adequate for our two-night stay. Service was friendly but a bit slow, particularly in the bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this excellent hotel and especially appreciated the unbelievable amount of antiques, display of fans, boxes, furniture, paintings. Absolutely amazing! The restaurant is very good but you should reserve a table ahead! We can recommend this deluxe hotel. M.werro, switzerland

We stayed in a jr. suite overlooking a canal and the garden area. The room was excellent, views excellent. Bathroom area very updated considering the hotel had more of a historical/museum feeling.

Price for the first night was high and did not include breakfast. Second night price more reasonable. Front desk staff was helpful however could have been more proactive in their recommendations.
