Το Metropole είναι ένα από τα πιο πολυτελή ξενοδοχεία της Βενετίας και προσφέρει θέα στη λίμνη από μια προνομιακή θέση, 350μ. από την πλατεία του Αγίου Μάρκου. Τα δωμάτια είναι διακοσμημένα σε ανατολίτικο στιλ. Το Hotel Metropole μοιάζει με ένα μικρό μουσείο και διαθέτει μια συλλογή από σπάνιες κάρτ-βιζίτ, βεντάλιες εποχής και άλλα αντικείμενα τέχνης. Ο κήπος με τα εσπεριδοειδή περιλαμβάνει φοίνικες και ένα πηγάδι του 14ου αιώνα. Το Met Restaurant είναι το μόνο εστιατόριο ξενοδοχείου στη Βενετία που έχει βραβευτεί με 2 αστέρια Michelin και είναι φημισμένο για τις ελαφριές γεύσεις και τους ασυνήθιστους συνδυασμούς στα πιάτα του. Everything great break, but very expensive!!! No iron or coffee making facilities in the room & they need to invest in sound proofing the hotel

I really enjoyed our stayed, it was all very laid back but it was also luxurious. Great location. Free internet. The suite was perfect, romantic, peaceful, lovely bed and comfortable. The staff were pleasent and helpful but not in your face and I found the drinks etc were not to expensive for this class of hotel. The only part of the hotel experience that disappointed was the restuarant, the food was rubbish and over priced and the restuarant had no atmosphere, dont bother. I would certainly stay there again but skip the restuarant. The restuarant was rubbish, boring, over priced, dont bother.....

The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walk from St. Marks square and many of the attractions. The private jetty was a lovely way to arrive from the airport and the knowledge of the reception staff was excellent and they couldn't do enough for you The rooms weren't as luxurious as they looked on the Internet and I was surprised that the main reception area wasn't as grandiose as the pictures I had seen

The room is clean and facility is luxurious. Charged 20 euro for the bottled water and nuts on the table(not in the mini bar). I never seen the other 5 star hotel who charged for these goods. Even if the price is written on somewhere(not easy to find), it`s too confusing.

Very friendly welcoming staff; marvellous location, has its own water taxi stop so arrival direct from airport (and departure to airport) easy and convenient. Cleanliness of rooms was excellent. Interior decoration of both rooms we booked was rather tired: stained wallpaper was a little at odds with all other facilities. Breakfast is expensive.

Lovely room, lovely lounge area to relax in, helpful and friendly staff, easy to find location, nice relaxed atmosphere The toilet stopped flushing however they apologised, fixed it and offered to move us to another room if it couldn't be fixed quickly

The Hotel Metropole has the perfect location in Venice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff was helpful and nice. The bar is charming and serves a wonderful list of cocktails, wine and pre and post dinner drinks.

Excellent friendly service. Fantastic location. Lovely boutique feel. Luxury antique decor. Comfortable, quiet and stylish. Our bathroom was a little small, but it's an old building by the canal and we were not in the most expensive rooms.

Great location near St. Mark's and excellent views of the lagoon. Our room was very clean. An eclectic bar area provides a good place to relax after a day of site seeing. The room was a bit dark and a little cramped for a family of four but more than adequate for our two-night stay. Service was friendly but a bit slow, particularly in the bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this excellent hotel and especially appreciated the unbelievable amount of antiques, display of fans, boxes, furniture, paintings. Absolutely amazing! The restaurant is very good but you should reserve a table ahead! We can recommend this deluxe hotel. M.werro, switzerland

Room was generous in size. Bed and linens extremely comfortable. Location perfect for enjoying Venice. Breakfast buffet terrific. Room was a little dark, and noisy in the back of the hotel overlooking garden but also directly above all air conditioning units. Also strong musty odor in room, and could not open windows because of noise and mosquitoes. Internet quit working on 2nd day, and staff refused to admit it did not work.
