The friendly staff, the excellent choice for breakfast . Small bedroom, but adequate for our stay, bed linen and towels changed every day. |

I liked the location of the hotel and the fact that they acknowledged our anniversary with a card and Prosecco. The breakfast buffet was small, but the food that they had was good. I didn't like the attitude of the staff. They were very rude considering it was an expensive hotel. We were there in October and although it wasn't warm outside, it was very warm in our room. When we asked about air conditioning, they very rudely told us that it was their winter so no air conditioning. Also, they had a complimentary water taxi to Murano and we felt very pressured to buy something once we were there. |

the hotel is fairly good, especially for their personal collected antics. the room is not big enough as what we have paid in price, and the bath room is not clean and confortable enough. The wi-fi doesn't work in the room, and not easy to access in the ground floor as well. |

Location and condition of rooms Unbelievable price for the services offered. Stayed in the same hotel a similar period of half the price paid now. Will never stay again again under similar conditions. |

Though situated in St Mark Square, the hotel provides quiet and comfortable environment. The staff were professionals in the trade and their service was impeccable. |

The staff and location were excellent for getting round Venice, but you have to be aware that lagoon view means lots of noise from both people and the water traffic. I did not think the room we had was worth the money, it was with a lagoon view but no one advised us as to how noisey it would be! Would not advise anyone to ask for a lagoon view room. The breakfast was not that spectacular for the price we paıd. |

The location was great as was the room; I also liked the fact that it had a garden where you could have breakfast and that this was included in the price. Some of the staff were less than helpful |

We choose this hotel for our wedding lunch in Venice and it was truly amazing. Everything was perfect from the location of the hotel, quality and cleanliness of rooms, service of the staff and the amazing food. This hotel exceeded our expectation and gave us and our guests a magical wedding day. |

The gardens were beautiful and most relaxing to enjoy eating breakfast in or just to sit and have a drink in as was the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lack of tea/coffee facilities in the rooms plus no trouser press. |

The staff were very attentive and professional. The Garden Resturant setting is beautiful and very magical as a romantic setting. 1. One uk tv channel (bbc World News). 2. Breakfast (poor) no orange juice (unless you paid 8 euros) no cooked eggs (unless you pay 8-10 euros.) Cold buffet not very inviting and it is the same each day. 3. Hotel Restaurant - Empty due to the strange menu (Pigeon) and the exorbitant cost of the food. 4. Room - no tea/ coffee making facilities or water (yes you guessed it - unless you pay for it). 5. Four plums constitute as a welcome basket. 5. Water Taxi - why not collect guests from the Airport? As this is supposed to be a 5 star Hotel (Cost 95 euros - each way). 6. No gym. 7. No swimming pool. 8. No advise on sight seeing and nothing in your room to read on this subject. 9. Room noise – we paid for a lagoon view and got building work. |

Friendly and helpful staff, near and easily accessible to main attractions, eventhough a very old hotel it was clean and well maintained. Access for handicapped persons. Lifts too small for wheelchairs and there is no easy access for them. |

Nice hotel, ideally situated between St. Marc and Arsenale on the shore of the Lagune. Smoker's place at canal side (boat stop) is worth a cocktail even for non smokers. |

The hotel is just beautiful and conveniently located right off Piazza San Marco. The lobby, lounge and bar are decorated in an Oriental style and the hotel has amazing collections displayed of all kinds of historical items. The rooms were very comfortable. Wonderful staff of thousands (seemingly). Poor wifi internet connection, for which the hotel charged 5 Euro for 30 minutes. The room rates are rather high so we felt the internet connection should have been free (as it is in many much cheaper hotels). |

what convinced me to stay after a confrontation with a member of the reception staff over a booking disagreement and I was about to leave when the deputy manager a Mr Aurelio Bon stepped in and asked for an oppportunity to put things right by staying at least one night of the three booked to show us what a good hotel the metropole was This I agreed to and I am happy to say our problem was rectified and the staff and Mr Bon could not have been more helpful he recommended a good restaraunt to go to for an evening meal and would you believe , we met him walking near by with his charming wife, we told The Breakfast staff and food were first class in a beautiful outdoor setting. This is a good alround Hotel excellant food and staff and a first class Deputy Manager who knowas how to treat his customers Bon is his name and good service is his game |

The antique collections, the quiet garden, feeling of history and decor are completely in keeping with Venice. The price, but it was worth it. |

The hotel is located close to San Marco and ferries. The Michellin star restaurant located at the hotel offers fine dining. The rooms are well appointed, but do not have internet services in the room. Concierge desk was friendly and very helpful (before and during our stay). The bed in our first room was uncomfortably hard, so much so we asked to change rooms. The bed in the second room was quite comfortable. We were surprised to have to shower with a hand shower in the bath. |

The prestigious Palace Bonvecchiati is located in the heart of the city, close to St. Marks Square. Enjoy the ideal balance between past elegance and present-day facilities. |
Set directly on the canal bank this elegant hotel features comfortable guest rooms, a traditional restaurant, and a panoramic roof terrace. Walk to St. Mark’s Square in 5 minutes. |
Hotel A La Commedia is just 200 metres from Rialto Bridge and a pleasant stroll from St. Mark's Square. Enjoy elegant accommodation with a host of modern comforts. |
Hotel Concordia is probably the closest establishment to Saint Mark’s Square you can find in Venice. Overlooking the square, the family run Concordia enjoys the magic ambiance of its surroundings. |
