Hotel is fine, especially location and decor, but actual stars level for this hotel should be not 5*, but 4* (which can be actually seen on the facade!). Servise and staff were good and friendly. |

Good position. Nice room. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Michelin star restaurant. Comfortable lounge and bar. Air conditioning in the room was not very efficient. |

All staff at this hotel were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The garden restaurant was lovely and the breakfast the best we had in Europe. We would certainly stay in this hotel again. The hotel was a little expensive but that was due to the time of year. |

Location is very comfortable, luxurious interior, lovely rooms, sitting area, bars, restaurant - made us really feel like (I guess) one should feel in Venice! Our window was facing the canal - amazing view, amazing room, but we could not keep the window open because of the noise from the motorboats. And of course - expensive (but that, I guess, is nothing unusual in Venice) :) |

Location was good. Staff are unfriendly, breakfast is continental only, the supposedly Michelin restaurant met was attrocious when compared to other expensive nearby restaurants (poor staff and food is sub-standard). Suite 303 supposedly overlooked the Grande Canal, but in fact overlooked a small side canal with hardly a view. |

breakfast!! and the room decor... I asked how I could get to Murano, and instead of sending me to the general district, the hotel sent me on a boat to a glass factory where I became a "captive" would-be customer (and because Metropole is lux, the prices at the factory were ridiculous). I did not get to see the rest of Murano, but worse I was held captive on the island way beyond the promised time of the boat's return for me. |

The garden eating option is one of the hotel's redeeming features and the food was very good. The older front of house staff and the senior bar manager are all in the wrong job, they are arrogant, condescending, rude and apathetic. The hotel charges are extortionate. |

Classic with tradition, small and nice, friendly professional staff, and has one of the best resaurant in Venice, Italy Each room is uniquely designed. We were up graded to one of the best suites upon late arrival, and we did not even request for an up grade. |

The hotel is in a great area of Venice, I didn't like how we paid almost 1000 euros for 4 days and they still charged 8 euros per hour for internet usage, I would not go there again just for this alone |

Quiet room to the garden, berry sauce and tiramisu at breakfast, very little technology in the rooms which is good for relaxing, good mattresses, single room had a very low ceiling and was a bit small but was upgraded at request to a double room no body lotion or guest slippers in the room, boiled eggs and omelettes have to be paid extra at breakfast |

Excellent location with superb views over the water and a few minutes' walk to San Marco. Very close to vaporetto so only one bridge to carry cases over. Excellent restaurant. |

Hotel staff was great! They knew everything about the city, more than my travel agent. Very friendly too. The the third floor suite was wonderful and spacious. The location of the hotel was perfect. The first night, we had a room over the kitchen. It was awful, hot and loud. After complaining we were moved to another room. |

The junior suite was well furnished, the breakfast and the breakfast staff were delightful and started each day off well. We can not help but be unhappy that there was no room service food available on arrival despite it being well within the hours stated by the hotel for availability. Even the bar had shut early on a Friday night. Then to have no table available in the restaurant on the Saturday night and not to have been asked if one was required. |
