The location in excellent,a 5 minute walk to St Marks square and easy airport transfer by boat which took just under the hour .The continental breakfast was excellent offering a large choice and served by very friendly and efficient staff.The hotel is like a museum with many artefacts and you should definitely have a good look around the whole hotel. Our beds were extremily uncomfortable as they were so hard, we did point this out but they were not interested and said they were all the same ! I would expect a 5* hotel to have excellent beds.We also were not impressed by some of the front desk service for example when asking for our key we were ignored and on one occasion when he came over he then made a phone call before handing them to us . |

It was very poor value for money. Does not come close to being a five star hotel. Room was shabby and three star quality. Decor has not been updated in years. |

Location is excellent. Staff is very kind and friendly. Hotel has various collections; hand made purse,wine openers, crucifix etc. and these collections decorates the walls. Each rooms are uniquely decorated, comfortable, luxurious and homely. Breakfast is very delicious. Variety of foods in breakfast is well elected. The hotel has Michelin rated restaurant. If you want to have your dinner or lunch, you have to make your reservation before your arrival. If you want to have your dinner or lunch at the hotel but not in the Michellin rated restaurant; you have to have it at the hotel bar. The bar is lovely, very comfortable and nice place to have lunch or dinner. Prices are very satisfied for the hotel. The complains I had were; the portion of meals were too little (even my 6 year old son has to give two orders of pasta). Drinks were also little; I had to ask for a bottle after my first glass of wine. |

I have stayed at this hotel before and found the staff friendly and efficient. The rooms have always been of an excellent standard. The breakfast is very good and there is a wide selection of food to please all tastes. Very well placed given that all sites are within walking distance |

Staff were very friendly, attentive and polite Drinks and food at the hotel is not cheap. Beware of the bottled water left in your room. It's not in the minibar and there are no notices advising you but it isn't complimentary and you will be billed for it. |

The hotel was very good. The room was big and the hotel atmosphere and interior is fantastic. It is very very warm. It was the best thing in this trip to Venice since, my wife and I did not like the city at all and we shortened our stay from 2 to 1 days. but the hotel was really great. |

I liked the location of the hotel and the fact that they acknowledged our anniversary with a card and Prosecco. The breakfast buffet was small, but the food that they had was good. I didn't like the attitude of the staff. They were very rude considering it was an expensive hotel. We were there in October and although it wasn't warm outside, it was very warm in our room. When we asked about air conditioning, they very rudely told us that it was their winter so no air conditioning. Also, they had a complimentary water taxi to Murano and we felt very pressured to buy something once we were there. |

the hotel is fairly good, especially for their personal collected antics. the room is not big enough as what we have paid in price, and the bath room is not clean and confortable enough. The wi-fi doesn't work in the room, and not easy to access in the ground floor as well. |

The staff and location were excellent for getting round Venice, but you have to be aware that lagoon view means lots of noise from both people and the water traffic. I did not think the room we had was worth the money, it was with a lagoon view but no one advised us as to how noisey it would be! Would not advise anyone to ask for a lagoon view room. The breakfast was not that spectacular for the price we paıd. |

The gardens were beautiful and most relaxing to enjoy eating breakfast in or just to sit and have a drink in as was the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lack of tea/coffee facilities in the rooms plus no trouser press. |
