Nothing at all! When in Rome next time, I will stay at Starhotels Metropol.
Everything! Rafael and Valentina made my daily breakfasts fantastic. They were so polite, helpful and always smiling and ready to speak with me regadless of my poor Italian. Benedetto at th reception desk was always so kind and patient with the numerous enquiries I had. Happy hour with live piano music and superb snacks was inexpensive and the gentleman serving me was very nice. I will return!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and exceptional breakfast.
Clean, spacious rooms, excellent bathrooms.
I booked a room and the hotel blocked the money 2 times when I asked they said system mistake which it is not acceptable from 4stars hotel
Staff and room cleanness
The AC was not on , when I asked to put it in they said in April they don't put AC on . i told them I want to cancel and get my money back to get another hotel they said no way but you can write a complaint . When I wrote to booking complaining the hotel replied : the AC was on but I might have problem in my room and they said I did not report it only during the check out They simply lied
Can't fault the hotel, everything was first class.
WIFI AND BREAKFAST !
Everything is perfect except 2 things ; WiFi is a big fat zero dial up connection is faster than this connection and breakfast needs more change and varieties
The men at the reception. We arrived on a dark cold rainy evening having travelled almost 17 hours. We were given the coldest unfriendliest reception ever. in fact all four men at the hotel that evening were aloof and ruined our first impression of Rome altogether. The ladies that took over the next morning were friendlier and much more helpful. The staff plays a significant role in the overall experience of the hotel and for this reason we are not going back there nor recommending it to anyone.
The rooms were spacious and well lit. Michela the chamber maid was lovely!
rooms smelt of cigarette smoke.
location to train and attractions was great - we walked to all. great breakfast. rooms were good size.
Great hotel within walking distance of all the main sites and metro/ main train & bus station. Staff very friendly and helpful as with all star hotels.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. Location is good .
In the booking.com did'not put a note that the 75% of the payment will be taken in advanced.. as I surprised after a booked the room that they took the money.
The location is near to the train station .. very helpful stuff
The breakfast was the same for the 3 days I stayed at the hotel.. need to add more fresh fruits..
Helpful stuff.. very clean room..
Everything is quite goot, but not special: the location near the termini is easy to get to (we used the leonardo express train) but is is not very central (abot half an hour walking to most of the atractions). Common restaurants in the erea. We can recommed 2 on Napoli street. Breakfast is ok but nothing special. The room was quite nice but the view was very near other rooms so all the time the curtains were shut. As the fair was very ok it was a good deal. There was no aircondition or heating working during our say. In such fair i recommend staying at this hotel.
No third bed when we arrived very small for a so called triple room very cramped tv did not work for 2 days and similar with air con complained but front of house comment was we only turned it on yesterday! Maintenance fixed both problems not what I expect from a £200 plus a night Hotel
Good location recently refurbished room very clean
The wifi was so poor I ended up paying for wifi on my phone!
Staff were so helpful
The heating was not working but the air conditioning was, so it was very cold in the room. Maybe there is no heating at all at this time of the air. But that was the only disadvantage.
Taking too much time when checking in, and the staff wasn't friendly at all. Breakfast wasn't great, don't think it was worth a money.
Location of the hotel.
Handling of payments was bad - they took money from us from one card and cash and also kept full amount on hold from other card - so they had control of our money two times the actual cost. Even as of today our money is on Hold ever though they may claim they have released it.
Friendly staff yet professional, warm yet very concerned I got to see and do all I wanted and nothing was too much trouble, breakfast staff lovely helpful as they all were. Room lovely. And as weather changed helped me address temps personally and came when asked ,always professional.
Shower was difficult to operate until we got used to it.
Quality of rooms.
The breakfast don't have a lot of choices
Like the location and the price is also acceptable
We learnt that in the hotel there was not an air-conditioning, contrary to what had been indicated during the reservation.
Great closeness of the station Termini. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. In the reception, the staff was pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast was very correct. The room which we reserved gave onto a court inside and was noiselessly.
can't think of anything
Wi-fi was too slow
