Roma'ya gezmek için gelenler mutlaka Roma Termini istasyonuna yakın oteller tercih etmeliler. Tren istasyonundan Roma'nın tarihi mekanlarına 2 ayro metro hattı var, ayrıca otobüs ve sightseeing turlar da buradan kalkıyor. Starhotels metropole, hem istasyona yürüme mesafesiyle, hem de mükemmel çalışanları, temiz ve sıcak odaları ve keyifli kahvaltısıyla bizi çok memnun etti.

Ücretsiz internet sadece lobbyden sağlanıyor, odada wifi için ek ücret ödenmesi söz konusu.

Cok temiz ve rahat bir oteldi. Taksi veya yuruyerek cogu yere ulasabildik. Odalar modern ve yenilenmisti. Resimlerde gordugumuzden daha iyiydi diyebilirim.

KOnumunu iyi buldum.

Kahvaltıda verilen çay ve kahve kalitesi iyi değil.

İnternetten aldığım bilgilere uygun bir oteldi, temiz düzgün, sürprizleri olmayan bir otel. Oda servisinden küçük şikayetler dışında, söylenebilecek ikinci konu alternatifleri çok olan bir bölgede olması. Teşekkürler.

We stayed at the Metropole for the duration of our week in Rome for which we were in the city to be married. Our experience with the hotel was positive even from before we arrived. We needed to have a heavy box of medication delivered to the hotel by courier from Ireland. Upon requesting the hotel to take delivery of this they were most helpful and reassuring that they would take care of it in advance of our arrival. This was indeed taken care of without any hassle. Breakfast - a comprehensive spread including breads, pastries, bacon, egg, sausage, cereals, juices, ham as well as many hot drinks on request. Room - very well air-conditioned, spotless, well-supplied with usual necessities, very comfortable. Reception/lobby are - a large reception area that merged with the bar area to provide a very relaxing yet not boring space to chill out and 'take it all in' if you wanted to escape the Roman heat. Very appealing. Staff - zero complaints here. Any that found out that we were getting married were genuinely excited and warm in their good wishes. The porters made special efforts to warn guests about the dangers to tourists of pick-pockets etc around the city. Lifts - functioning, clean and frequent. Location - the hotel is a short walk to the main Termini station which is on the metro line as well as being the main city station - there is a direct line to da Vinci Airport from here (30 minutes). Termini also has a busy and useful shopping mall. The hotel is probably closer to the less busy Republica Metro station so you have good options either way. If we ever return to Rome we will stay in this friendly, spotless, luxurious and well-located hotel in a heartbeat and recommend it strongly without hesitation.

Our negatives are not about the hotel but we would like to share them just because they might benefit others. On our third full day in the city my wallet was stolen on the metro - there was not too much cash inside but obviously I had to cancel cards etc and who likes to become a crime statistic! This is a significant problem in Rome, particularly on the underground system and in busy places. You will receive many warnings from good hotel staff, waiters and other miscellaneous well-meaning Romans. Take every care to secure your possessions while outdoors, We met several people who had near misses and indeed had items stolen. Certainly do not carry any important documents with you around the city if possible. This had nothing to do with the location of the hotel by any means, it is a serious and citywide problem but if you take the right precautions and are a bit more careful than me (though I thought I was being very careful!), you will be fine. Unless you are a lover of serious heat that burns through the soles of your footwear to the top of your head, stay away from Rome in August and probably July as well. It was beautiful to look at but hard to take and on ocassions it prevented us from actually getting on with normal day-to-day activities. We genuinely have no negatives to report on the hotel itself.

The location close to Termini station is suberb. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. The breakast was very good. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Good value for money.

The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Cristina. There were many choices in the breakfast buffet. Location was great and you may walk to the tourist sites- Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Roman Forum, Museums, restaurants, delis and fashion outlets. The beds are comfortable and room was clean.

I chose this hotel on the internet via Bookings.com for its location & Trip Advisor recommendations. Was pleasantly surprised to find the high quality. Italy must do something about its postal service though...It is appaulingly bad.!!!

This hotel is one of the best European hotels that we have stayed and we travel often to Europe. Rooms were big, comfortable beds, pillows, big roomy bathrooms with all the perks. Location was absolutely great we walked to key popular places plus we were also close to the Metro at the Termini Station. Four stars hotel!!!!

Staff were very helpful and advised on restaurants and tours. Organised tours are definitely better booked, the one outside of Colosseum was ok missed the queues 1st guide was good but the afternoon guide did not turn up just be aware.

I think for the price you pay, it would be good to have free internet all of the time.

Friendly staff and good location. Nice breakfast choice. Convenient for station. Good maid service.

Air conditioning didn't seem to work very well. Limited wifi access.

Its better to pay all taxies once at moment of booking for economy time of cheking out.

It's location to all the attractions in Rome was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were excellent ,I could not find a fault with this hotel and would gladly return to stay again .
