Hilton Florence Metropole  

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton. The staff were super friendly and spoke English. They have free parking at the hotel and also have a shuttle that runs from the hotel to the city and back. I liked it because I didn't have to worry about finding parking in the busy city. Our room was nice and clean and we even had a city view. The front desk personnel recommended a pizzeria just down the street from the hotel and it was delicious! Best food I ever ate while staying in Italy. It's called Il Terzo Cerchio. Overall I liked the Hilton, the staff and amenities. Best trip ever and I'll be back!

I don't normally spend my time writing reviews for anything. I am more of a reader then author. However, this is one of the exceptions where I have to tell you how great this Hotel was. The free shuttle service (15min to centre). The room. The welcome. All were Hilton standards that you would expect. If you are a HHonors Gold member like me you will be entitled to free access to the Executive Lounge where you can indulge in free beverages. The staff at the hotel were excellent and met our every need to the point where I wasn't too happy with my room and it was changed immediately with no questions asks, I simply didn't like the view. That says a lot about the staff treating you like an individual rather then just another customer.

Very comfortable hotel, kind staff, excellant price! I would recomend this hotel, and definetelly come back!

Missing indor swiming pool and sauna

The hotel seemed like a good value as it was not that expensive considering the many amenities that were offered on site. Except until you get there and realize they milk you to deat to use. Such as paying 16 euros to pay for the pool or a charge for wifi in the lobby (which most hotel give free, and charge for Internet in the room). The free shuttle is good though.

This hotel was one of the best, if not the best that we stayed in during our holiday. Although it is a bit out of town, they offer a convenient shuttle and the price was really good. The room is larger than most, and very clean and modern. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Location and service at the reception

No wireless internet in the rooms, no atmosphere in the restaurant and poor quality of food. Being in Italy the food was far below par.

My husband left a travel bag in a taxi, and the front desk was so lovely and helpful and persistent in eventually finding it for us.

The whole experience was excellent and was tremendous value for money. The staff were all very helpful and polite and the curtousy bus was very much appreciated. Thank you.

We loved out stay at the Hilton Florence. The staff was amazing, breakfast was superb and the room was immaculate. The location wasn't great but we knew that already and they had a shuttle bus that came and went at appointed times. No dramas!

A very nice hotel with great offers. The serve a very good breakfast offers a nice whirlpool area and a gym. The best though is they offer a shuttle to the city which completely deals with the only small weakness of the hotel namely the location a bit outside. Just take the shuttle and there you are in the middle of the town I just a few minutes!
