The ultra-modern Hilton Metropole is only 2.5 miles from downtown Florence. It offers spacious rooms, a spa area with 24-hour gym, and a free shuttle into the historic center. The Metropole has air-conditioned rooms with hardwood floors, a marble bathroom, and an LCD TV. All rooms include a work area with internet access, while some rooms allow access to the 15th-floor Executive Lounge, which overlooks Florence. Hilton Florence Metropole's 430 square-foot spa area includes a large hot tub, a Swedish waterfall, and chromotherapy showers. Breakfast is buffet style, while the restaurant Luci della Città serves Florentine dishes and international cuisine. Snacks and drinks are served in the American bar indoors or outdoors on the patio. Staff were not that helpful and every possible service had an extra charge which was ridiculous given that it is out of town. Shower was covered in mould and check in took am age, very poor given it is a business hotel.

The Hilton brand always proves itself by providing great accommodation to guests. The hotel room is excellent, comfortable, clean and beautiful. Expensive internet access. Location is conveniente if you want to stay around airport area, but it is far from city center. They provide a shuttle service to turistic area, but I did not use, as I stayed for one night only.

Amenities were poor. Breakfast was too simple for a Hilton! Not value for one, at all! Expected more. Disappointed! :-( Thank God Florence is a wonderful city.

The hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms with modern furnishings, plus a great shuttle service to the city center There is no free internet, or in areas of the hotel. Also, the desk clerk, when extended my daily for another day, do not tell me you would have to pay part of the breakfast (15 euros per person) and was extremely rude when he said he was not warned of the fact )

We loved out stay at the Hilton Florence. The staff was amazing, breakfast was superb and the room was immaculate. The location wasn't great but we knew that already and they had a shuttle bus that came and went at appointed times. No dramas!

A very nice hotel with great offers. The serve a very good breakfast offers a nice whirlpool area and a gym. The best though is they offer a shuttle to the city which completely deals with the only small weakness of the hotel namely the location a bit outside. Just take the shuttle and there you are in the middle of the town I just a few minutes! The location a bit outside. The normal fare is high but booking.com had a great offer

The quality of service and cordial treatment by all the staff. I found service people in Italy to be rude but not at the Metropole Hilton. Just a little further from town then I wanted but not a big deal.

Nice to get chips and fingerfood with the drinks in the bar. The room was nice and quiet. I didn´t like that the bathroom door was of glass If you are in the shower and somebody comes in the room you wouldn´t be very comfortable.

Very clean hotel.parking free.good breakfest. The shutle to the town not so ok. Need to be more for high season and in afternoon between 1pm until 4pm need to be sutlle too. One bus is not enough. Very hard pillow.

Amazing hotel,location and staff. Rooms are amazing and clean. Service is outstanding. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we will stay there again if we get back to Florence. We recommend this hotel for everyone. The hotel provides shuttle bus to and from the central station.
