The front desk told us the hotel restaurant was the only one around and then we found some next door. The fire alarm went off in the night (not their fault) and they didn't explain to the guests who came down stairs what was happening. I had to go to the front desk and ask. Both of these incidences I found unprofessional and not to the standard of an international hotel chain

The staff were friendly and spoke english. The free shuttle bus to the city and return is useful. The room was quite comfortable.

(1) You had to come very early to the hotel lobby if you were to be ensured a seat on the shuttle bus. If late, you could be denied a seat. (2) The spa was not working. A receptionist told us that it was undergoing maintenance for the past week. This is not acceptable considering that guests would like to avail of all the hotel facilities that charge such a high cost. (3) Shower water sprays all over the bathroom floors. This can be easily solved but, apparently they are so busy making money that guest comfort takes a back seat. (4) Free wifi connections should be available in all rooms and not only in the lobbies.

It was a nice hotel all in all, first impression was very clean and nice, no noise from the other rooms, handy cap accessible (for the most part; hot tub you had to call for assistance). Liked the black out shades very nice.

The lighting was poorly executed and there were bulbs that we asked to be taken care of and was not. The walls were dirty with scuff marks, and before we even took a bath my husband found what looked like a pubic hair in the bath tub. We paid beyond 600 euro for two nights, for two rooms, not including the nightly euro rate. We thought we would stay at the Hilton because we are from the states and know that has never been anything but great. Although here was not the fact. We got the room because they stated on the website that there was a whirlpool and a massage; neither of these things were available to us. Nothing on the website, which is odd because they are very easy to update them. The beds were hard and the shower door was glass but we couldn't figure out if it moved or not.

The breakfast, although 15 euros was good value compared to the price of food and drinks in the city. The design and ambiance of the hotel was lovely, very soothing and relaxing after a day in the bustling city.

Having to pay 15 euros for the wifi. Tv remote control didn't work very well, found out from my son that it was also used for the tv games so must have been abused in that way! Sound deadening not effective between floors or from corridoors.

Far from the center, but the free shuttle helps. The three nights we stayed we stayed at 3 different rooms: problems ranging from put in a room inferior to what we reserved, being moved to another room where the heating was broken. Final night we finally got the room we booked and it was great.

Internet is expensive but that's problem with most of the hotels

A hotle much better than other 4 star hotels in Europe. Comfontale bed and the room is well designed. The room temperature is the best controlled among the a dozen same level hotels I staying in Europe. Shuttle bus to the city is not frequently but still useful.

Nice decor, up to expectation

A bit far from city centre, but the free shuttle bus is quite helpful. Picking/dropping point is at the parking lot next to Burger King which sits on the left hand side across the street outside the main train station.

Lovely design of room/bathroom divider

Difficult if not impossible to shower without getting quite a bit of water on floor and no robes, extra pillows or exta blankets available.

there is only 1 receptionist while 7 different people were trying to check out. This should not be the amount of staff in this kind of big hotel . Meanwhile managers were passing through the reception and noone cared about people waiting on the queue. I couldn't make check out and told them to take it out of my credit card deposit, hope this won't cause a problem.

Real high level hotel, great facilities. Excellent value for your money. Has very comfortable shtulles to the city.

Rooms on floors 13, 14 and 15 get free access to the Executive lounge which includes free breakfast, drinks, newspapers and snacks.

They changed the wifi access policy while we were there. It went from free to 15 Euro's per 24 hours per device. We were told it would be credited back at check out but we were then refused.

Het hotel is ontzettend mooi, en de ligging is werkelijk geweldig! Mocht ik weer voor zaken naar Florence gaan, dan gaan we zeker weer naar het Hilton.

Betalen voor Wifi, 15 eur per dag, is voor een zakelijk hotel not-done.
