The bed v comfortable The toiletries were all great The breakfast v good
Location near Vatican and metro station and tram/bus stop Very good breakfast Helpful staff Good coffee during breakfast Room cleaned each day Good quality of cosmetics available in the bathroom
Tea/coffee equipment not available in the room...it's really a pity. Poor quality of the tea sometimes (one day it was Twinings and other it tasted and looked like the cheapest one
Quiet room at the back Good wifi Large bathroom
Poor breakfast Poor restaurant Tiny room
Rooms are very nice, stylish, modern and clean - I loved the decor. Staff is friendly and speaks good English, very easy to communicate. The location is great, in a quiet part of Prati, but close to Lepanto subway station, which connects to Spagna, Termini etc. within a few minutes. Also within walking distance to the Vatican (15mins or so).
Only one thing: WiFi connection was awful, slow and unreliable; I could live without internet for a few days on this trip, but if you need to do actual work and need to be online, WiFi here will not suffice. I hear it's not unusual for Rome, though, and I also had a corner room at the end of the hallway - it might be better in other rooms
- location, - friendly staff, - breakfast (compared to typical Italian breakfast)
- wifi (some problems to connect)
Good location, 10minute walk from St Peters and Plazza Di Poppolo. Good bed
Staff barely spoke English, wifi was disconnecting itself every few minutes, breakfast was not good
the staff was wonderful-Linda in particular -at the front desk! breakfast was fabulous but we couldn't enjoy it as we going to a papal audience and left at 7am.
they upgraded us to a suite, which was beautiful.the only problem was that it was a corner room at the intersection of 2 streets and all night the traffic kept us awake1 that is the reason for the review downgrade. If we were staying more than 1 night,I would have insisted on a room change.
>Just outside the tourist area in walking distance to Vatican and other tourist hot spot. >Very clean and modern style hotel in a histioric building. >All the personnel very helpfull and friendly. >Excellent breakfast buffet.
The wifi is to slow.
Very professional and cooperative Staff Location is excellent Cleanliness is Excellent Recommended for all my friends and relatives Sherif Banna Cairo Egypt
Modern nice hotel close to Lepanto metro station. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was included and was good. Free wifi although a bot slow.
We went their for our honeymoon.I specifically wrote a note when I booked this hotel that we will be arriving a bit earlier than 2pm which was the check in time. After 11 hours of travelling we arrived at the hotel at 12:30 only to be told that our room was not ready and we had to wait till 2pm! Note that check out time is 11am at this hotel (instead of 12) so that room was empty from 11am and was still not ready despite letting them know in advance. This was very unprofessional. TV was small. Water did not go down the drain properly in the bathroom. Room service was expensive. We ordered two coffees and had to pay 8 euros.
Great Location Helpful staff Clean modern rooms Good breakfast loved our Rome experience and would return to the Metropolis hotel.
Coming home !
Cleanliness very good and staff very polite.
Mattress is too hard: but this seems to be the standard for hotels.

Location(close to subway) Staff(friendly and willing to help) Breakfast The cafe operated by the hotel provides wonderful dinner So on
Sucky location. Horrible beds. Def not 4 star
Lovely staff, breaky included, great beds and easy to walk to main attractions
Not in the best spot, was hard to find quality restaurants close.
The hotel was immaculate. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Comfortable and within easy reach of places in Rome.
No tea and coffee facilities in room x
With good location of 15 min. walk from Vatican, the hotel offers very good quality at reasonable price. Very friendly and commited personnel, doing their utmost to make you feel comfortable. The design of the hotel is very nice, the hotel is very clean. The food for breakfast offered a variety of everything you need.
Stylish rooms breakfast
1. THE SIMPLYCITY 2. BREAKFASF
1. UNABLE TO GET WIFI IN THE BEDROOM. 2. We were prevented from our after-noon and evening tea, because there was no kettle or cups.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towel and toiletries. Breakfast was good, not a lot of options but enough for a small bite before heading out. Very handy location, close to metro and The Vatican City.
The standard room we got was very small, possibly the smallest room we've ever stayed in. Not very good sound proof, we could hear people in the morning coming in and out of their rooms, closing doors and chatting in the hallway. Our tv was some how facing up to the ceiling which we couldn't fix and the wifi was a little bit annoying because you have to log in every few mins once you stop using it.
- Good comfort for a reasonable price - We got a free upgrade - breakfast is generally nice (see also negative notes)
- Staff could be more personal in their approach - The free upgrade was just for one day although we understood during check-in that it was for the whole period. They did their best to solve the situation but with more personal attention the situation wouldn't have occurred. - although breakfast is fine, the organisation is a bit chaotic. You just have to "catch" a member of staff to ask for a cup of tea, for example, as it is not in the buffet itself.
close to the Metro station, calm and clean neighbourhood, but only 10 minutes by foot to the Vatican / historic center; very friendly and helpful staff; standard breakfast; very good deal for city breaks
small room; weak Wifi connection;
