I have been staying at Michelangelo for 20 years... It is my "home away from home". The location, staff, and the new renovation are all fantastic. It is comforting when the staff greets you by name and treats you as an old friend. Antonella, Allesandro, Enio, Gabriele, Claudio, Roberto, Phillipe, Daniele, and the whole staff have my gratitude. - excellent breakfast; good service; - good location, just 5 minutes from St Peter's Basilica and less than 10 minutes from train station Stazione S.Peter - excellent furniture and very clean bathroom

- a little bit too much noise in the morning because of the construction works at one hotel's wing; the works started each morning at 7:30 AM local time;

Breakfast included was very nice. The rooms were spacious. Very clean. Blow dryer in bathroom was great. Complimentary use of large umbrellas was great.

Only a half shower door.Very hard to shower without making a huge mess. Wifi in rooms would be much better. It would be nice if there was an adaptor for electronics.

The location was great just a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Great bus service especially no 64 to all attractions Beautiful room all very modern and newly fitted. Full marks to the hotel as they are undergoing major refurbishment exterior and interior no disturbance to us at all very hard to refurbishment and yet still maintain a high quality They win hands down

Internet free in lobby only for 30 mins at a time although as many times as you like a daily charge of euro 6 per day in room Breakfast was European style adaquate but nothing special very small quantities of everything. One morning they had no crispy bacon as an American tour had just breakfasted It took quite a while before it was replenished for the other waiting diners Only scrambled eggs no option to have eggs cooked any other way. Although you were offered the option of latte cappacuino hot chocolate espresso etc which was lovely

The location is second to none and the value for money was unbelievable. The decor in the newly furnished hotel is beautiful and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples of all ages and people on city breaks

The construction work is not finished yet, did not affect our 4 night stay though

hotel donot have restaurant, hence no room service same breakfast for all our stay for 4 days. we have requested for pick up from airport on 02jan12 and same was confirmed from hotel but car could not came, we got excuse after reaching hotel that car was broke down.

The hotel is great and very friendly staff.

Not free internet access in the bedroom and limited internet access in the hall. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excelent, the Vatican and the bus stops to the city are near. The breakfest buffet and the service in the breakfest room was very good. We enjoyed our stay here.

The Location was convenient for the Vatican. The staff were pleasant and courteous. The room was a good size, with a a large kingsize bed. The air conditioning was very good, and was included in the price. There were lovely fluffy towels, which were changed everyday. There was plenty of storage space, and a safe for our valuables at no extra cost. Our room had a balcony, which was lovely to relax on after a busy day. The breakfast room was pleasant, and there was a good choice for breakfast.

There was a musty damp smell as you entered the hotel, a few plug in airfresheners might help, or some fresh lilies. The carpets are a bit threadbare throughout the hotel, and the decor in the rooms are in need of freshening up.The tv set was old fashioned, and only had the one news channel in English.Although there was a good choice for breakfast, the scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages were always luke warm or cold, which was a shame, as that spoiled what would have been an excellent breakfast.

I did not enjoy my stay at the hotel.

Who gets an upgrade to a room which isn't better or nicer than the one you actually booked? When I complained and asked for the room I booked, I was treated with disdain. Not at all happy about the service.

Location is the key if you are looking for a hotel close to the Vatican. Walking distance to St. Peter's, shops and eating. The hotel offers a first rate breakfast. This is our second stay at this hotel.. Currently under renovations but that didn't affect our stay in any way. Just making it better for future visits.

The hotel is very close to the Vatican in a quiet residential neighborhood with an abundance of small restaurants and pizzeras. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was consistently good with the exception of the coffee which was a tepid version of American coffee.

There was no restaurant operation. The front desk was not very helpfull with tour arrangements or advise on local travel arrangements. There was no evident conceirge service available.

The front office staff were extremely helpful as was the porter. I was concerned when wwe heard that some renovation work was being carried out but we didnt even notice this was happening. The room was very well appointed and the breakfast was amazing. So close to the Vatican and the rail service to the port just close by. We would recommend especially if visiting Vatican and St Peters. Only about E10 to get to Colessuem.

The location is nice - the distance to the Vatican is about 500 meters.

The room need to be renovated. Our russian nighbours was very noisy until 3 am.
