the closeness of the city. the hotel is probally in need of some repairs, we stayed ther 2 years ago and from what I saw no repairs seem to have been done( just little things like the plug in the basin didn't work, the rooms were a little dusty. |

We loved the hotel and the close proximity to the vatican everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delightfull. Two things we would like to see upgraded, the first being that the beds were not comfortable at all we both had sore backs in the morning. For the cost per night I would like to see more modern elegant furniture in the rooms it cost us a fortune to stay for two nights and the rooms were not equal to the price we had to pay. Again the rooms were very clean and the staff very nice. |

The hotel was located very near the vatican.the area felt safe by night even though we were never late coming back.Quiet from street noise.Very good breakfast.Staff were very nice and gentleman in reception recommended a very nice restaurant nearby on our first night.Room was nice and everything was in working order. The safe we used was based on a key system behind the reception area.Even though it was free we were told that if we lost the key there would be a charge of over 300 euro and we had to keep the key with us at all times, A more modern system should be installed with a number system in the bedrooms maybe. Note Metro 10 -15 minutes walk away but we didnt mind. |

Polite and helpful staff. Cleanliness of the room.Good selection at breakfast. Scrambled egg at breakfast looked unappetising as it was always sitting in a lot of liquid. |

Clean sheets/towels everyday exceptional. Excellent breakfast and easy access to Vatican. The evening meals were very poor and grossly over priced - the worst aspect of the Hotel. Advice to others would be to eat out! |

Excellent location - from the entrance of the hotel, you could see the Vatican dome just a few hundred meters away. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Price was much higher than I originally saw on booking.com, and I'm not sure why. |
