Helpful staff, great breakfast, pleasant atmosphere
The room was a bit small for 2 people, could have done with a shelf in the bathroom and another towel rack
- central location - well maintained property with nice common areas - breakfast on terrace - friendly & helpful staff - double patio doors to keep out the street noise - breakfast is adequate
- street noise & noise from school right opposite the hotel if you sleep with patio doors open for fresh air
Hotel Mignon is a great little hotel-clean, quiet, friendly, and well situated. Pablo, at the front desk, stored our luggage the morning we arrived and again the day of departure. We also appreciated breakfast to start the day.I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Friendly, helpful staff.Good location. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable room.
Extremely convenient for the centre of Sorrento. The staff gave excellent advice on transport and other tourist information with very good English. All the staff were most helpful. The garden was a delightful place to relax after a days sightseeing.
location is perfect, Paulo is very helpful and friendly, rooms are spacious, fabulous value for money.
Toaster at breakfast didn't work would cost 15 euros for a new one maybe and the night manager was a little unfriendly but nothing to put you off a stay here.
Staff!! Location! All was perfect!
Location, staff, breakfast.
difficult to find and no parking.
We've been travelling around Europe for 7 weeks now and this is the best place we've stayed so far. It's very central yet quiet. It has all the facilities you need including a pretty good spread for breakfast (included in the price).
The staff are very nice and the food in the restaurant is excellent and good value
A steep walk up a hill
cleanliness, helpfulness, location and overall atmosphere of hotel
just needed better directions from train station
The location was quiet. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good.
No elevator, but we knew that ahead of time. It was difficult to find the first time.
Location & service
Helpful staff and excellent breakfast.
Really, I liked most things about this hotel. The position is convenient to both the train station and the port and not to far from the Grande Marina. It's clean and the decor is light and fresh and the rooms are a good size.
There wasn't much to choose from for breakfast and occasionally the front desk was unattended. But overall a good hotel. I'd stay there again if I ever have the good fortune to return to Sorrento.
This hotel is in an excellent location in Sorrento's old city area. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they spoke good English. Breakfast was great and delicious, and served until 10:30am (most places stop breakfast by 9:30 or 10:00). The entire hotel is beautiful, well-designed, updated, and clean. I loved the them of blue hue throughout the hotel. The room was excellent in size, comfort, and cleanliness, the bathroom was updated, and I had a private balcony.
Delicious, complete breakfast, helpful staff, excellent central location, lovely rooms and garden, very clean and comfortable.
First high point is the wonderful caring staff. My husband prefers olive oil on his toast and they remembered this each day we stayed and delivered the bottle to our table once we sat down. The hotel was very clean clean, withbright and cheerfully decorated rooms in blues and yellows, tucked away on a quiet back street near the centre of Sorrento. The location was great - a short walk to the centre, and overlooking a lovely restaurant which serenaded us each night with music. Our room opened up onto a little patio (not private but a common space) that we could enjoy with a small table and chairs or a sun lounger. Sleeping was good and the windows could be kept open as there is minimal noise at night. Breakfast was excellent with whole grain bread, muesli, yogurt, fruit, cakes, juice and great caffe. There is a solarium on top with more sun loungers that one can use to enjoy an evening drink or just take in the lovely views. The restaurant next door, Parrucchiano, is wonderful!
Ants in our room but this is a problem of the season and the hotel did try to limit their spread.
Great location, frienly staff. Nice and cosy hotel
This Hotel is a great place to sleep and have breakfast in, it's very close to the town centre, train station and beach. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a no frills hotel stay with a great breakfast in an amazing garden.
Location, location and again location. It is in the center of the tourist action in Sorrento. Good breakfast, but if you stay for more than a week- you would like to have greater variety. Staff is exceptionally helpful and eager to meet your needs and wishes. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious - which is not a common thing in Europe. Air conditioning in the rooms works pretty good.
No lift, but the staff carry your suitcases to your room.
Staff friendly and helpful. Very much a non-tourist hotel as very few staff speak English. Good and quiet location and there is a 10% discount off meals at the nearby restaurant that is owned by the same people that have the hotel. Buffet breakfast that can be eaten either inside, outside under cover, or in the garden.
No lift. After pulling suitcases from station, about 10 minutes, it was quite daunting to be faced with steps to reception and then have to go up two more flights of stairs to bedroom, though a young member of staff plus another guest did carry the suitcases up for us.
We could walk everywhere and access public transport. The staff were very efficient and the afternoon receptionist was outstanding and so helpful and friendly with very good English. The hotel has good decor and is a quiet haven from the bustle of August in Sorrento! The included breakfast was good and we were able to enjoy it outside.
Staff, location, darling boutique hotel, large windows to balcony, breakfast.
central location cleanliness of room friendliness of staff
