Located right next to Lima Metro Station, Hotel Galles is on Corso Buenos Aires, Milan's busiest shopping street. Its rooftop restaurant La Terrazza offers a memorable setting for a meal.
Score from 2215 reviews Very good
The Anderson is a stylish designer hotel in an impressive building beside Milan Central Train Station, a hub with metro lines and airport shuttles.
Score from 1208 reviews Excellent
location is very good, very close to metro station. Staffs are very friendly. Rooms are beyond expectation.
Shower very old
1. Good sound proofing 2. Spacious room 3. Generous variety and reasonably priced breakfast 4. Convenient location
1. Average WIFI strength 2. Quality of restaurant food (for dinners) very average
The staff were very friendly and hospitable, we were able to park our car in the car park early in the morning and leave our bags with reception (prior to check in) to go sightseeing. Had conjoined rooms which were perfect for our group. Staff were very helpful to provide information regarding trains.
Good Location, front desk staff were good, but the Manager did not even know that a whole floor in his hotel didn't have hot water, he was clearly disconnected from what was going on! Can't believe NOBODY else every complained about the room next to the gym being noisy. When we checked in they told us it was the last room but never mentioned the gym was next door! Shame cause its a decent hotel but we were given a poor room if you don't want to wake up at 6am to the sound of jogging machines avoid room 904!!! Felt we were given inadequate compensation by the hotel so I will not go there again. And I am a Crowne Plaza IHG Member as well..!
Room 904 is next to the gym, you will be woken early every morning and even into the night by people slamming the door shut, and the drumming sound of people on the machines is really annoying. Also we had no hot water on Saturday morning prior to going out so could not shower or wash in anything than cold water. Not exactly high standard! Beds not great, i have slept on far better in other hotels. Trip ruined by Managers in ability to grasp how angry I was at the poor standards. Not going to this hotel again.
All aspect of hotel great
Rooms comfortable and new design
The outside of the hotel and the reception, not very welcoming
Metro just below the hotel. The hotel has its own parking which makes our life easier. Close to main train station.
Some of the reception staff are rude. The breakfast is poor. The room is small with no view.
Comfort great staff close to metro
Wi fi a temperamental could not get it work in room all the time
Room was very nice and restaurant and bar were the same. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Although it is just a short walk from the train station (approximately 10 minutes), it is a bit farther than it appeared from some information received on the internet. It appeared as if the hotel was across the street from station.
Friendly staff , professional , clean , good breakfast, nice room
not the best area, but great if you travel whit train as it is close to Milan sentral station
Good for a hotel , we had 4 suitcases and 2 interconnecting rooms , so a little tight for space, the bathrooms were great, one room had good wifi , the other terrible.
Staff some were rude , the night guy at the bar down stairs very good ,the reception staff some were rude, l expected better from the crowne plaza.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, and the beds were huge and unusually comfortable. At the back of the hotel is a very nice secure car park. The bar is a great place to relax. Everything was provided to make our stay a pleasurable experience - thank you Crowne Plaza.
Very helpful staff Great breakfast choice
Nice spa but no pool Location was only 2 minute walk from the main train station and next door to the Metro but the area itself had nothing so you had to use the metro all the time which is easy enough.
Front desk people were helpful and nice Breakfast was good Hotel rooms are clean
Reception staff were treated us impolitely , they shout when they answer the questions. The reception staff chat, comment and talk between themselves in Italy and laugh in front of the guest. Unexpected attitudes.
Style, location and staff all excellent! I would definitely stay again and certainly earns the Crown Plaza quality
- Good location, just above the yellow line metro station that leads directly to Duomo and historical center - Own car parking - Friendly staff - Nice breakfast - Small daily news printed overview in your native language - Recognized as IHG member - Good internet speed
- Small standard rooms - Condition of rooms is not higher than 4 out of 5. - Served 1 set of amenities per room, including complimentary bottle of water, when there were 2 guests. This did not change even after we reminded front desk about it. - Asked for the way to Europcar renting point, but were actually given directions to Maggiore. It would have been fine if it was not pouring rain outside, because we spent another 0,5 hour trying to find the way ourselves. I have to admit that all negative points above are provided in comparison to previously visited Crowne Plaza locations in Belgium, China and Russia. This hotel is 1 star down from all of them. Only convenient location can compensate the standard price paid for the stay.
Stayed with family, great location but rooms small and bed uncomfortable. Wifi intermittent which was annoying. Breakfast ok but nothing special.
Cramped rooms, un comfy beds.
Location:the metro station next door. The rail station 5 min walk Good breakfast Friendly staff and clean room Wifi is ok In general we enjoyed our stay and I recommend the hotel
No near by shops or supermarket so you need to buy what you need before coming back or you can go to the central station which is one station from hotel Basic GYM
Staff was friendly and helpful, train station very convenient.
Old, dusty, stains on some furniture.
Rooms, service and the location
The hotel does not have any restaurant to serve proper meal. This was a big minus. We ordered chicken stock soup for the bar menu but got mashed chicken with cream instead.
