Location

Location is very near to the train station. Internet connection is reliable. Breakfast is reasonably alright. Receptionists speak good English.

Room condition is old although facilities maintain their functionality. Room feels dark.

Staff great. Wifi n breakfast included. Location is great. Close to everything.train station is 3 blocks.city buses right at the door. Tram to opicina is next door. You can walk to piazza d unitta Italia,to the waterfront the castle. Etc

Decor

I had a balconey suite with seaview and it was awesome. The owner was so helpful, it was like staying with family. The suite was large, bright, airy and very comfortable. If time had permitted, I would have stayed 10 more days here. The owner helped me with directions, setting my GPS and had me follow him to correctly get around all the road construction to get out of town. The area was beautiful

This is a monor point but I think you would certainly need a cr if you stay here......again minor point, this was an outstanding stay

convenience to rail and bus

Great location - close to town center, castle, train station, everything. Very helpful staff.

Employees were very good - friendly and helpful. I must say that I have read some negative reviews of this hotel by others, but this was not my experience. I cannot complain.

The only thing is that I wish the price had been somewhat lower.

The staff was very helpful, no matter what questions we had of them. We wanted to change our room, and that was no problem. Excellent breakfast.

We were given a room that was old, and needed updating. The bathroom is older and needs to be renovated. Otherwise, the double room was spacious. I do know that 2other couples who were traveling with us received wonderful, updated rooms.

The location being 10 minutes from the city centre and 5 minutes from the bus station ( easy access from airport for 3.5 euros each ). Spacious room and good continental breakfast . Also directly opposite Zampolli , best ice cream in Trieste.

Cleanliness, helpful and friendly staff. Central location

Quiet and comfortable. Location good from transportation standpoint, close to train station and main plaza for the very well run city transit.

Other than its convenient location for trains and transit, not in the bet part of town for restaurants, shopping, etc. Wi-fi was frustrating to use. Had to constantly sign on, but this may be an Italian thing because we had similar experience in Caorle and Venice.

Nice non-corporate, old school Italian hotel with no pretentiousness.

Breakfast croissants and coffee not the best.

The rooms were big enough clean good air con and satellite tv breakfast was good staff were excellent esp the manager/owner Stefano who went out of his way to assist guests, including providing his self made( colour printed) with all the tourist details both religious, historical and good eating places - a totally great product location of the hotel was excellent also - 5 minutes walk to bus and train terminals next to each other do not confuse, also close to the marina and main piazza TIP - there are two bus 51 one local and the other to the airport - ( take from within the bus terminal cost 3.5 euro one hour trip)

Great hotel witin 5 minutes walk of the station, furnishings were a little old but the room was extremely clean and spacious. Great location for the sights of Trieste, close to bus stop and walking is easy around the city. Restaurants close by and shopping 5 - 10 minutes away, would recommond this hotel and would stay here again if visiting Trieste.

Located near Trieste Centrale Station it is a good value hotel. The hotel is kind of old with big and clean room. The bathroom is big and the shower is great. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast is ok. Wi-Fi is free.

Small elevator. No access ramps can be annoying if you are carrying a big luggage.
