I checked in today at Rosa Grand Milano – Starhotels Collezione, and from the very first moment, you feel like you’re diving into Italian heritage — but with a modern, elegant twist. It’s simply fantastic! A member of the guest service team personally showed me to my suite, and she was absolutely amazing, taking the time to explain everything about the hotel’s facilities and sharing great insights about Milan. Her warm hospitality made me feel instantly welcome. The hotel’s restaurants, food, and in-room dining were beyond excellent — every dish was a true culinary delight. This is Italian charm and luxury at its finest. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Milan.

Everything was perfect but then you expect that when you're staying at a Radisson Blu hotel. The restaurant has an amazing buffet that has a great number of choices. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. And the underground parking is a bonus. As far as location, it's a bit of a hike to get to the Dumo, so Uber comes in handy.

We recommend visiting Duomo di Milano and the Navigli at sunset. These were the best places we visited, even though the staff at the Duomo can be quite chaotic. Try Italian cuisine - pasta, pizza, gelato... When I travel to Italy, I usually use the Mooney Go app to buy city transport tickets, it is very user-friendly (also Moovit for navigation).

Milan is a beautiful city vibrant and full of history. Its a wonderful location for a city break.. I would not stay longer than 3 days. Its also ideal to take the train to Lake Como which was in complete contrast. The weather was extreme. I dont recommend that you travel in August. The Catherdral was stunning. Was also lucky to have tickets for the last supper which was moving

I travelled to Milan with my daughter and it was a fabulous short break. So much to see and do and fantastic public transport meant we could get around easily. Most information signs are in English as well as Italian and announcements on buses, trains and Metro are also in English. We ate well and experienced shopping and culture. I would really recommend Milan for a city break.

Milan is a city that blends history, fashion, and modernity in a truly unique way. From the stunning architecture of the Duomo and the elegance of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to the trendy neighborhoods like Brera and Navigli, there’s something for every kind of traveler. The city is fast-paced and cosmopolitan, with excellent public transport and a rich cultural scene. Whether you're into shopping, art, food, or nightlife, Milan delivers. The local cuisine is delicious—don’t miss out on risotto alla Milanese or a classic aperitivo. While some areas can feel a bit busy or commercial, the charm of Milan lies in its contrasts. It’s a city that’s both deeply rooted in tradition and constantly evolving. Highly recommended for a short city break or even a longer stay if you want to explore northern Italy.

Great city with lots of bits - also outside of the main attractions - to discover. Take some time, wander about - it's worth it! There are canals which are lovely to walk along, with a lot of bars, cafés and restaurants. Obviously the main square with the Duomo and the historical shopping passade. To recover from that, just walk off the main bits and discover super friendly people who run little restaurants, shops etc. Oh, and the Academy Museum!

Milan is a place to explore, anywhere you look you just find something beautiful. The streets and buildings take you back to times of knights and tales. You just can't get enough. Getting around is easy, metro or tram, but be ready to walk, mind the cobble stone it can get slippery. Hats are a must if you go in the summer and consider getting a sun umbrella if you are planning to wait in any lines. Getting early to the Duomo area is a must, after 11.00 it's extremely overcrowded and you have to wait in line for everything. We took a pre booked tour of the Duomo, well worth it, especially with kids, no waiting in line, priority entrance and a history lesson. Food is delicious, either grabbing something on the go or sitting down. Try exploring the small alleys for cozy cafes and gelato.

The hotel was very picturesque and in a nice quiet area away from the chaos but not too far from the main city centre (about 15-20 min walk to get to the shopping gallery and opera house). The room was quite big, nicely decorated, clean and well-equipped. There was a good amount of guest services and a very nice restaurant in the hotel. I found staff quite helpful especially given this was my first visit to Milan and I needed assistance with booking taxis. Overall had an enjoyable stay and would consider next time I'm in Milan.

Staff were amazing. My daughter was starting a year in Milan and we booked a few nights to get us started. They helped us with a lot of information and really went above and beyond. They were so lovely and made us feel v welcome. Breakfast was great. Loads of choice. Quirky hotel which had lots of nice touches. It was a little way from city centre but in a nice location for getting a break. Great to have a pool and close to Navigli. Well serviced by bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend
