Very nice, obviously recently refurnished hotel. It is perfectly located between Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, apx 3-5 min of the normal walk from both. Most of the main attractions also are at the walking distance. My single room, which was above the size standards for Rome, actually was spacious twin with a large bathroom. Above all, staff was very polite, friendly and helpfull. I would also say that the hotel is in the safe neighborhood even for the solo female traveller. So, having all in mind I would recommend Milo to all who are looking for the solid 3 star value for money accomodation at the convinient Rome location. Hotel is in the area with a lot of restaurants and sometimes, depending on weather conditions, rooms with courtyard windows could experience smell from their kitchens. Also, there is a little bit of mold in the bathroom, which is, besides that small fault, very good equipped and maintained daily.

The hotel was just 2 blocks away from Termini. I loved how the staff were consistently helpful in our 4 days of stay there. Our room was also cleaned everyday and the area was close to some of the main attractions as well as bus stop 64 which can take you to all major sights in Rome. I enjoyed my stay there that I will be coming back for another 2 days in my last week in Rome. Since it is close to the station, it can be noisy at times. But other than that it is a good value for thr price I paid.

The staff was very very cordial ..... and very friendly and very warm. Roberto at the receptionist is a swell guy, He helped me a lot in everything.....even at conversing with my clients on the phone as I didn't speak Italian. Really clean hotel. Hotel Milo is on the first floor and there is no elevator from the ground to the first. As I had a huge bag that I needed to drag to appointments everyday, at least 3 times a day. It was a huge discomfort. Also the shower space in the bathroom was so so tiny.

The hotel is very close to Termini station and open 7/24. Milo is small, rooms are very simple but A/C, net, TV are available. The hotel is clean. The staff is kind and helpfull, if you tell your destination they will inform you about transport possibilities (eg. number of the bus..etc). The breakfast is continental but the range is mainly sweets...There is a comfortable patio on the downstairs with 3 tables, chairs and plants, smoking is allowed only this place in the hotel. After having checked out the baggage is allowed to leave in the lobby if you'd like to go out into the city. There is a trattoria next to Milo with very good kitchen and low prices. Milo is a good choice if you'd like to spend some days in Rome :) This type of accommodation is so called in Hungary: Motel Ther temperature were only 22˙C in Rome beginning of May and a hotel was a little bit cold, the blanket was only a thin plaid. There are some trattorias, restaurants close to Milo, so it is a little bit noisy in the evening if your room is on the downstair. just information, it is not a real problem: If you do not like sweets as for breakfast you have only one choice..each day the same..

Super-room, good breakfast, excellent staff. We stayed in november and it was excellent, but in summer time it might be not so good, because of lack of a/C.

I have stayed at Hotel Milo a number of times whilst in Rome either as a base or a stopover. I find it well priced and very conveniently located. Their breakfast is lovely and there is a nice little terrace if you need a breather any time. The only negative really is that you have to carry your bags up to the first floor. Although that is not unusual in the smaller hotels.
