The bar down on the corner
Convenient location: in a historic downtown, close to station and parking.
Credit card was not accepted although Booking.com tells it accept. In addition, hotel person said my card is wrong although I have no issue at all except this hotel. Furthermore, English was not spoken at all although booking.com tells English is available.
Rustic, homely Italian vibe. Great central location.
We didn't have a balcony. The room below us had one :-(
It was quiet. Management willing to help with directions. Great bar down the street for breakfast. Mini kitchen in room. Wi-Fi access. Fresh towels when required. Quite central.
Very uncomfortable bed that squeaked. 4 floor walk-up. Cramped room. Poor lighting. Floors could have been cleaner especially in bathroom. Dust on base of table lamp. Homeless people drinking and begging on the sidewalk near the hotel.
No lift, so need to climb up 3rd floor to reception.
