Agerola is a friendly, clean and very relaxing town with only a bus ride or walk down to the Amalfi town centre. Self containing apartment that was large, clean, cozy, safe, quite, and our host was great to us. One tip, when arriving to the bus stop in Amalfi centre catch the (Agerola Lazzaro) when you arrive in the main plaza get off read the sign to were the apartment is down the hill, easy as !! We were lucky enough to have a great couple of kids show us to the door step. I'd stay again.
No wifi on premises and no utensils in kitchen apart from that we managed easily.
free parking , quiet apartment , kind owner
No wifi , old furniture and old electronics It is very difficult to find the place as there is not a sign indicating the location and is a residential building We ask 2 beds , and there is one double bed Indicated the reservation a view over the mountain and our view was to the street
Easy access to bus stop. The apartment was spacious.
The apartment we got was nothing like what was described on the website. It had no view and unappealing furnishing and finishes. It seems the owner owns a few apartments in the same block and just assigns any apartment. When we asked him about the view from 2 balconies advertised on the website, he said it was an error on the part of booking.com. this owner is perhaps opportunistic. Would recommend staying elsewhere.
Flexible and helpfull owner, nice and silent village, very nice panorama from the village from near of the apartment, but it is NOT from the window of the room!! Really big balcon! Clean and huge apartment!
Spacious apartment, very neat and tidy with an awesome view over the Mediterranean sea which is truly breathtaking. Close to restaurants, pizzerias and the bus stop. The host was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Although it is a 45 minute bus drive away from Amalfi, the spectacular views over the Mediterranean ocean and an adrenalin charged bus ride down the mountain made it a memorable and recommendable place to stay. Caio.
The apartment itself is a bit old, but very clean and tidy. It is also a 45 min bus ride away from Amalfi itself, since it is located up on the mountain, but you are rewarded by a spectacular view over the Mediterranean and an adrenalin filled bus ride down the mountain which you have to experience, for it is part of the fun.
Ideal place to do plenty of walking, the 9 KM walk down to Amalfi is wonderful and plenty of buses back. The town has a good bar, although quiet, which is cheap and serves the best gelato. Plenty of space in the accommodation, local shops have a deli counter and fresh veg. Flat was warm as we went in June.
Kitchen equipment was sparse but still managed to cook a meal TV has limited Italian channels and no dvd player so bring your own entertainment.
Very good restarant is 15 meters away.
I was here in the midle of May. It was really cold in this flat. And there was nothing to warm appartment in the night. Not comfortable place to stay.
