Lovely location - fantastic view from the terrace in the sun with a glass of wine.....Food good. Not the hotel's fault (they do know now that we've told them) but the location is incorrectly shown on Google map & local Kompass map. It seems that you should get off the bus in Civenna, but actually it's 2km & several hairpins further on up the hill, which is ok as long as you know. Otherwise it's a long walk with a rucksack. Breakfast good. |

Very friendly atmosphere, marvelous view on the Lake Como and the mountains, own swimming pool. Good location for sightseeing tours within the region if you have got a car or (even better) a motorcycle. Free parking attached to the hotel. Some of the guests’ rooms recently renovated – their bathrooms nicely refurbished however furniture in general remained unchanged and especially beds are not up to today’s standards. Despite bad isolation against noise and somewhat lacking comfort still a good value for money! Traffic noise - due to location. |

Staff were lovely, food in the restaurant was very nice, especially the daily specials. Agree with previous comments that breakfast was a low point. Stale bread. Still the staff and the view made up for that. Breakfast. |

the view to lake of como The room was horrible. The bed was noisy and very uncomfortable, the bathroom was small, everything was old (from the 70's) and there was a bad smell in the whole hotel. |

Pool area was nice as well the view to the Lake Como Yes, everything else. We had the family room, and it probably had beds and matresses that were since the sixties made from steel. One bed made such squeeling noice it was terrble when my son had to turn over it woke all of us up! Furthermore, the traffic noise was until midnight and started as early as 6:00 am. Dinner was OK, but breakfast was terrible... |

The staff were great: friendly and eager to do their best. The main plus point, though, is the exceptional view over lake Como from the (breakfast) terrace. For bikers, I'd imagine you'd hugely enjoy the route to get there and the roads in the vicinity. The hotel is in need of some maintenance (broken shutters, peeling paint, etc.). It's fairly run-down, a little shabby and, frankly, not really what you'd expect from the star rating or the price. The shower stall in the room we had was also very cramped (for someone of medium build, so might even prove inaccessible for the fuller figure!). In addition, the breakfast offered is poor - a few slices of dry bread with a handful of individual servings of jam is about as much as you should expect. I'd also recommend sleeping with the windows closed as the local boy racers on their muffler-removed scooters seem to enjoy tearing up and down the winding road that passes the hotel, during the evenings. |

The staff was very friendly and service minded. A fantastic view over Lake Como from the hotel veranda. The breakfast was very poor and not worth € 5. You have to be aware of noisy local traffic just outside the hotel. |

The view from the Hotel Terrace / garden The room was filthy and very out dated. There were flies in the room!! The bathroom was very poor, dirty shower curtain.... The double bed was just 2 single matresses pushed together on top of a slab of wood. The matresses were also v. uncomfortable and flee ridden! Can provide photos of bed bites to prove this - Not good!!!!! |

Probabilmente il solo servizio di ristorazione merita un cenno. Camere vetuste, moquette a terra sporca e macchiata, arredi vecchi. Bagno privo di bidet in ceramica (si utilizza un bidet in plastica, portatile...). Doccia che ricorda la presenza degli ospiti precedenti... (capelli). In generale trascurato. |

Die Lage mit Blick auf den Comer See. Die quietschende Betten. Das Zimmer allgemein, es ist sehr veraltet. Außerdem der Straßenlärm, da an der Durchgangsstraße. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. |

L'accueil et la disponibiliité du personnel.Les pizzas sont bonnes et bon marché. La vue sur le lac de Côme depuis la terrasse est fabuleuse. Le coin piscine est plutôt réussi mais ne suffit pas à justifier 2 ou 3 étoiles (on ne sait pas bien car le panneau de bord de route annonce 3 étoiles et la plaque à l'entrée de l'hôtel n'en annnonce plus que 2 !) L'hôtel est dépourvu de charme, non entretenu vieux et sale. Les chambres sont inconfortables et tout juste à la hauteur d'un 1 étoile.Le petit déjeuner est à éviter. L'hôtel et la ville ne sont pas fléchés et se situent à plus d'une heure de Côme, dans les montagnes ! Le bar de l'hôtel accueille des clients jusqu'à 3H du matin et la piscine est en accès libre ! |
