Hotel Mirage    

Everything was perfect, one of the best hotels I've ever stay in. Limited amount of rooms makes the hotel - "like being at home", same with hotel's restaurant. Ischia island is a very nice place to be and spend a couple of weeks for vacation - great views, beautiful nature, friendly people. Termal recreations are great and relaxing. For a very reasonable prices, which is important. Scooter or car rent is a must, otherwise you will not be able to see all the beauty of the island. For the ones who are looking for shopping, night life, etc. - this is probably not the best place. But to the ones who are looking for a privacy, quiet, relaxed and enjoyable holidays - one of the best places I've been.

The location was great having both mountains and sea views. The staff were friendly, homely, professional, caring and great fun. Not all the staff could speak English, this was great as we like every opportunity to practice our very limited Italian. John Carlos and his sister both being able to speak English were lovely and funny they made our stay very relaxing and most of all enjoyable.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, good location. Parking is free.

Sea is located far away.

The first impression was very good. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist that showed us the hotel and we received a welcoming drink. The view from the hotel was amazing. Also the location between Casamicciola and Ischia Porto was very good. Out room was very big and clean.

The room did not have a balcony and was located behind the restaurant. At night it was very loud, empty bottles were stored under our window and guest coming home late at night. One evening the was a party with very loud music, so we had to close our window in order to get a little sleep. It was than very warm because the airconditioning was not working. Later that week there was another party, luckely only from lunch till early evening. A few days later we noticed that a lot of garbage was stored next to the hotel, probably trash from the parties. It was not in a container, but just lay there in bags (some opened) on the ground. Furthermore the breakfast was very bad and not nearly four star standard. There were no scrambled/baked egs or bacon, etc. There was hardly any choice in cheese or meat. Also the basic stuff like spoons and coffee cups were lots of times missing and you had to ask for it. One time when they were almost out of coffee, my friend poured the last bit of black dirt into her cup. She gave it to the waiter at the bar and asked for new coffee. He brought her a can of new fresh coffee, but also gave her back her old cup (with the black dirt). That is not four star service! We had dinner at the hotel at one evening. It was before the birthparty would start and it felt like the were rushing us to finish our dinner. The waiters were walking up to our table every few minutes to check if we finished our plate yet. Als so the dinner wasn't that great, mayby the cook was busy preparing for the party? My meat was not well done as I asked for and the potatoes my friend had, were still a bit raw. We had much better food in some restaurants in town for less money. After we had complained about breakfast, it did get a little better. And of course I know breakfast is not a very important meal in Italy, but I had a much better breakfast at other hotels in the past.

The staff were warm and friendly, the spa pools were clean and luxurious an superbly refreshing. The view from Hotel Mirage is stunning, one not to be missed.

Position, close to both Ischia Town and Cassamiciola, bus stops nearby, very convenient and easy to reach even for older people, architecture, splendid tiles, good taste furniture, comfort, splendid gardens and lovely thermal pools. Very helpful staff creating a friendly and cosy atmosphere.

Nothing special at all. Too many flies in the garden but this is a problem everywhere on the island.

Everything about this hotel was fabulous - the absolutely breathtaking views which brought tears to my eyes, the quaint and lovely hotel (very clean), the professionalism of the staff and kindness (helpfulness), excellent restaurant on the property with a great view of the mediterranean and the location was great. The bus stop was just a few feet away from the hotel (very convenient). My husband and I have stayed in the past at some wonderful hotels and we are very particular (The Intercontinental Hotel in New York-Manhattan; in Rome-on top of the Spanish Steps; in Paris & London), this was by far one of the best experiences we have had and we will definately stay at Hotel Mirage the next time that we visit the island. Since it was our 10th wedding anniversary they upgraded us to a room with a balcony with a view of the mediterranean and the mountains. Had our stay been longer we would have enjoyed spending an entire day staying at the hotel and enjoying the marvelous views, the thermal pools and the restaurant (no need to go anywhere else). Fantastic views, beautiful pool (plus three smaller pools). Very helpful staff. Excellent food and wine. Close to main town of Ischia

Our room was right next to reception and it was a bit noisy at night as people came back to the hotel

Very good hotel, owners and almost all staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very good see view, and it's located near Castiglione Thermal Park. Also there are good thermal pools.

The staff was excellent, everybody was nice, friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and it was lovely to have breakfast while we were watching the garden and the sea. The hotel is almost halfway between Ischia and Casamicciola Terme just a few bus station from the ports, but as it is located on the highest point of the road you can easily walk downhill to both centres. Breakfast is from 8am to 10am and there is a halfboard option for dinner with a four course meal. The hotel is tranquil and peaceful, fits perfectly for older or younger couples who would like to rest.

Everything was magnificent, but if I have to say something: I missed wifi very much, as it was not available in our room ( just in the lobby, the restaurant and in the pool area).

La natura in generale e l'accoglienza dei locali.

La carenza degli spazi zona di imbarco, scarse indicazioni turistiche e generale degrado non accettabile per la bellezza dell'isola.

Il luogo è incantevole, con vista su buona parte del golfo di Napoli. Il personale è molto disponibile e competente. Il padrone ci ha trovato un auto a noleggio e ha fatto in modo che venisse portata in albergo e riconsegnata al molo d'imbarco. Il tutto per un prezzo più che equo. La cucina ha un "tocco in più": un misto di tradizione e modernità. Ed il ristorante ha una vista meravigliosa, e poi ci sono anche le piscine all'aperto con varie temperature. Cosa volete di più?

Un bellissimo panorama, e l'albergo è molto confortevole

L'isola è molto bella ma poco pulita, nei paesi l'aria è in alcuni punti irrespiraBILE come quella di una metropoli, bellissime le terme

Posizione e personale.

Difficoltà per portatori di handycap.

L'hotel è delizioso con un panorama mozzafiato; le stanze sono grandi, ben arredate e molto curate (molto sopra la media); la posizione strategica... Vicino a tutto... La cucina superba... Ma ciò che rende veramente speciale il soggiorno è la cortesia e la gentilezza dei proprietari e del personale di tutto l'hotel... Lo consiglierei a chiunque!

Meraviglioso weekend!! Da rifare quanto prima... Ci siamo sentiti coccolati dallo staff gentile ma mai invadente..la cucina deliziosa. Il panorama incantevole, niente e' lasciato al caso..la cosa ppiu bella la colazione in terrazza che nonostante fosse vietato la gentile proprietaria ci ha organizzato. Lo consigliamo ed ogni volta che saremo ad ischia allogeremo di sicuro qua.

Non e' sul mare quindi chi desidera una vacanza tutto mare non e' idoneo

Un albergo delizioso, in tutto. La posizione è fantastica e la terrazza con vista mare favolosa!

La camera che nonostante avessi prenotato con affaccio "vista mare" non lo era. Il balcone era posizionato verso l'esterno della struttura ma il mare non si vedeva quasi!

Il panorama è eccezionale su tutta la costa Flegrea,su Procida maggiormente. Una struttura elegante a metà strada tra Ischia porto e Casamicciola. La fermata del bus fuori porta.La vicinanza di una delle strutture termali più importanti dell'isola.

La mancanza di piscine di acqua calde all'interno.In caso di freddo o maltempo in genere non si può usufruire delle famose acque calde ischitane.
