The location is excellent close to the train station & other amenities;m cleanliness of the room was satisfactory; staffs are friendly. We had 2-bookings for Oct 26-30 & Nov.6, 2011. The first stay was good as was booked with the right room. As we checked out from the first stay, we confirm the booking for the Nov. 6 when we come back for an overnight stay. We were told that we did not have booking for it & had to show the desk our confirmation number for it. When we checked in on Nov. 6 we were put in a small room for all of us & they just added the beds; not the proper room that booked & paid for.

First of all it was exactly as the photo. It was a big room, very clean, very quiet in an excellant location with a great price! Right front is the stop term of the bus "teravision service" which comes express fron the ciampino airport.and of course right front is the metro station. We are very satisfied and we would stay again for sure! The building is very old and every floor is a different hotel.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good only because airport shuttle bus stop is located just cross the street. Also location is good for sightseeing bus as well. It is very easy to get to the centre from the place of Mirage. Location would be better on other side of train station, just opposite. I did not feel save after 8-9pm walking at that area. A room was too dark as there is no sunshine throught the window. I would not stay at the same area again.

The hotel's location is really something that attracts every traveller. Mirage and Halifax are in two different buidings. Mirage is only a one- room office on the ground floor, while Halifax is in anothet old building quite near to Mirage. The real Roman era lift can carry one luggage and at the most two persons at a time. The breakfast was normal with every necessary item required (like juice, coffee, cereal and bread) but not much variety ( no cakes, muffins, fruits and eggs), that too in a small room of a third buiding. No nice decorations or interior in the room or hotel. Only plus point is its location, which is five minutes walk from Roma Termini and Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing tour buses as well. With young children and luggage, this was really an advantage to us. The bathroom door lock was broken and no luxury items supplied in shower, only towels and small soaps. Breakfast was also not really buffet at all.

location, staff at reception was ok They put a hold on sum for first night accommodation on my credit card 5 days before check-in. I didn`t see the amount after 7 days from check-in when they said that will change to unhold the status for this amount. I'll probably recover the amount but it's annoying to wait and no certainty of recovery

After staying at many hotels during our Europe tour. This hotel Mirage & Halifax was a disaster. Only good thing about this place is it is very close to the main station. Lift horrible. getting the luggage is a pain. Hot water not confirmed. Entry system , locking door is a pain. Reception, Breakfast in different buildings..

The lady who was on reception in the morning during our stay was very helpful. She was friendly and explained a lot of things to us. The other two reception people in the evenings did not go through about the services of the hotel which was disappointing. It stated free WiFi for people staying in the hotel and this was not entirely true as you only got the first 30 minutes free. Very upset with this as this was one of the main reasons to book the room. Free wifi. One morning the milk was off and you could not have it. I had to point it out to the staff and they could not understand what I was talking about. I would have liked if the staff could have spoken a little more English or understood a lot more.

It was so close to termini. Train and Bus stations. No wifi in the room. Room was sooooo Small. Bed was very hard. They knock at your door every early in the morning and wake you up just for changing a towel regardless you are tired or sleeping.

Its location next to Termini station Shower too small in standard room, other rooms called suites do not know why??, Plug sockets did not work, remote did not work on tv, breakfast was appalling and staff member serving not approachable, avoid this hotel if possible, did not expect much for 110 euros per night but a very poor hotel

Location is good - and trust that you really are central (Arriving at 10pm, tired female alone, I did get caught out by a con-artist at the train station telling me that I'm at the wrong station (the signage calls the station 'AirTermini'), then after putting me in a taxi "for your safety", I later worked out I was taken around the block for €17. Grrr). Accommodation was quiet, clean and comfortable enough and ensuite facilities good. Breakfast was acceptable enough - primarily bread/cereal; eggs - even boiled - would be good. For the price it was a bit lean on provisions - I definitely would have expected tea/coffee facilities! (Esp. As going on tour I couldn't access provided breakfast first day) - room does have barfridge W. €2 per drink; didn't like leaving my room locked up but having housekeeping open the window when I was gone all day(!!!); very limited natural light; tv had no remote and didn't work.
