Just the location
The entrance hall had cracked flooring and a cupboard falling off the wall. The lift shaft enclosure was not complete and the moving lift could have been grasped. There was no fire plan nor fire access or muster point. The lobby decor was shabby. There were 100mm high tripping hazards into and out of the suite and in the bathroom. The A/C and TV did not work. The shower still had grout on the tiles. There was plaster falling off the wall of the shower enclosure . The hand basin and towel rail were not properly fixed. The mirror light didn't work. There was chewing gum holding one of the sockets on the wall and the light plug was broken. The curtain rai was set so low as to prevent the window bing opened and the curtains looked as though someone had slept in them, they were too short and too far off the wall. There was no fire plan in the room either. The entrance door and the shower door fouled the floor so it was dificult to open and close and the floor was deeply scoured in both locations as a result. The staff refused to refund when the drinks machine didn't deliver a drink and then said that the machine wasn't their responsibilty! Only 1 coffee allowed @ breakfast unless you were prepared to pay extra. The room (suite G) was exceptionally noisy and prevented us from sleeping because the window had to be left partly open as the A/C didn't work. A noisy dangeroous hotel!
Location. Easy to find. Need phrase book as staff not proficient in English. I got by OK though. Relatively quiet despite the location opposite the main station. Very close to Airport bus. Fine for short stay. I would stay again [I fit into the shower].
Bathroom tiny. If you were a biggish person you wouldn't get into the shower and I hit my head on the basin getting up from the loo. I am 58 kgs and could only just get into the shower. Water only a trickle.
Convenient location for train travellers.
Location, hospitality, breakfast, stuff, quiet neighborhood, everything is very close if you want to go around. Termini station is under 100 meters so everything was so close. For families who come with children and when you want to check in fast without paying extra money to taxi or walk this is perfect place because when you come from Fiumicino airport you need to go 2 min and you are in hotel. Hotel is very secure, you have interphone on door. 24h reception is very good and friendly stuff is here to help you. Breakfast is very good in compare to other hotels where they offer you just basic bread butter and honey. Here you can eat several meals and coffee is also included. I didnt know that Mirage and Halifax are one hotel situated in 2 buildings which are 10 meters distance. Reception is in Mirage hotel which is first and well marked with big sign so when you come first go to Mirage hotel. Dont look for Halifax. I was in Halifax first so I was confused that I need to go to Mirage but everything was so fast resolved that when you enter room you will see how good is to be in this hotel.
Everything is ok.
Vifi don't working!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station.
The beds were a little hard.
location, coffee, neatness
shower was not proper, wifi not that good
The male staff was not friendly as the female staff; when I cut my finger, the hotel could not provide the suitable first aid.
Rooms had been painted & fresh. We stayed two nights between a trip to the Amalfi coast & stored our excess luggage at the hotel between the stays. Desk staff was friendly & helpful. Internet as very good.
Wall safes had been painted over & were not useable.
Only one benefit for this,is good location ( close to train staion).
Its not clean room and bathroom. It has small elevator and cant use in sometime.
It had good WiFi. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok, and the croissants were excellent. Close to the train station is a good point.
We have booked a 6 person room, and got 2 pcs 3 bed rooms. With 1 couple and 4 friends, it was a bit awkward.
The location, is less than 5 mins walk from the station.
Excellent choice for a fair price. Location perfect.
Location is extremely close to Termini Station - extremely handy for day trips and getting to the airport. Though the room was smallish, it was clean as was the ensuite bathroom which was updated and clean. We arrived at a particularly busy time, and staff we a bit overwhelmed I think. We stayed for 6 nights and I found that simple niceties with all staff such as a 'Buongiorno' or 'Grazie' with a genuine smile, went a long way to making our experience pleasant and staff were more prepared to help us out with any requests or queries. Though breakfast choices were limited, it was always replenished.
Wifi was extremely erratic. Breakfast room a bit cramped.
Close to the bus and rail system to make getting around easier.
The elevator work only one day out the the four days we were there. The breakfast crew on the third floor was rude. Ran out of breakfast. Didn't open breakfast bar on third floor on our last day. Would replace towels in room, even if hung up, but never with the right amount for the people staying in the room. The phone in room didn't work so I had to walk down to the reception to get more towels. Some Electrical outlets in room didn't work. Stairways leading up to the room was very dirty. Refrigerator in room didn't work.
Great location (Termini), kind staff, nice breakfast.
Bad wi-fi signal in the room. You can hear the noise from from the hall from other guests. Too much traffic and noise.
Just by the side of the Rome Termini Station. If you take Bus from any of the 2 Rome international airports, the bus will stop / start just from 10 meters away from this hotels.
These are 2 hotels in neighboring properties. Mirage is better. Halifax is in an isolated old building. Breakfast is of very poor quality, compared to most European hotels of this standard. water in juice. Not many options. Could be much much better.
The location, location, location. Accommodating staff.
Slightly musty smell. Awkward lift.
Very close to Bus and train. Prime location
It was very close to the train station so it made it easy to get around. Good size room and clean. Breakfast was not bad.
Location close to station
Very friendly staff who made us very welcome and comfortable. Room spacious and clean. No frills but i wasn't expecting any for the price.
Location, also staff were friendly. You'll enjoy staying there for sure, promise!
The breakfast saloon. Actually, it was a hotel worth its value, so, you cannot find anything wrong.
The location is excellent. The staff are friendly. Reasonable breakfast.
Old elavetor. Cannot lock the room when outside (can be locked only from the inside. The staff are not always helpful.
