Hotel Miramare  

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. The location was perfect for cruising out of Civitavecchia. Also, its 30-45 minutes from the airport.

This was our second stay and our seaview room was quite large, well appointed and quiet. Breakfast offered a lot of bakery choices and coffee made to order. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant at night. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The front desk stored our luggage between stays (while we visited Rome) and arranged for a very convenient and affordable transfer to the cruise ship inside the terminal.

The location was good for pre-cruise.

The room we had was extremely noisy with the outside traffic. Didn't get any sleep at night. Also, the lobby is very unwelcoming. Needs an update. Would be good to have at least one English channel on the TV like CNN.

Amazing location, wonderful rooms with balconies overlooking the sea. Superb!

This hotel was used by us at the end of a 15 night sea cruise and the welcome from the staff and their friendliness was much appreciated. The location to the port and railway station made the journey much more relaxed. The size of the room is especially enjoyable after a small ships cabin.

General facilities, Coffee shop out of hours of hotel breakfast is run by other people, not very friendly

Great balcony room and terrific staff.

Our only problem (which was minor) our in room safe didn't work.

Close to train station (3 - 4 mintue walk) and to cruise ship port/pick up area (5 - 7 minutes). We could leave our bags there prior to check-in / out. Breakfast was very good. Internet access

Better direction information. It just indicates its X amount of meters from the train station, but maybe it should have actual directions : 1) exit the train station and walk towards the main street. (down stairs) cross the street and go left for two (or 3 ) block and turn right towards the ocean. The entrance is on the ocean side. 2) exit the train station and walk towards the main street. (down stairs) cross the street go left and follow the street / walkway that leads towards the ocean and continue down the walkway for 2 ( or 3) blocks and the entrance will be on the ocean side. A better choice / options to eat.

It was very convenient for the cruise terminal in Civitavecchia and this was the sole reason we chose it

location to cruise port, great ocean view, quality breakfast included, but most of all the staff was superb!

I found an issue with the heater/air conditioning unit that kept A light flashing the entire night close to the bed and did not find A way to turn off.

Location to Port and Station

Room layout was extremilly poor. Breakfast poor quality. Public areas tired and tatty.

Hot water runs out quickly

We stayed here before a cruise and it was great. It's not a new hotel but the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. And, there's a bathtub which was nice. The front desk clerk recommended a great pizzeria for dinner. Being right along the seashore is an added bonus.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms within an easy walk to the train station, restaurants, shopping etc. Good breakfast.

The location suited us very well. The hotel is on the seaside promenade built at the end of the 19th century and is an easy walk from several good restaurants and the shopping district in the old city centre. It is also an easy walk from the port gate where we went to board our cruise ship.

Wonderful area on the boardwalk with great view f the sea. Not a bad walk from the trainstation. Can walk with 1-2 bags. Cabs can be hard to find at the trainstatin. We would stay again.

I had a spacious ocean view room with balcony. Nice continental breakfast in the dining room. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi, very close walk to the train and restaurants/port gates.

Hot water for the shower ran out after only a few minutes. No English-speaking television channels.

Great staff and great views!!!! Perfect for staying before or after a cruise. Basic furnishings, but clean and comfortable.

Nice, old fashioned rooms with 5m high ceilings. Great location on sea promenade of Civita. Working wifi.

Slightly shabby reception area. Breakfast room doubles as (fish) restaurant which made it inevitably smell thus. 'Private parking' was just a 50m2 spot that will be too complicated to enter for most drivers. Reception advised to just use streetside parking but this is not what guests expect when they book here for this reason.

It was a brilliant idea on my part to travel a day early and stay at this hotel before joining my cruise ship. Hotel was great, very handy from the station, very handy to walk to the port next day. Had a good nights sleep, excellant breakfast overlooking the promenade and sea. Good service and a large room. - Need I say more.

The view in the room number 31 was great. In the room is spacious. And they had a good breakfast buffet.

We stayed for several days awaiting a cruise ship and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is excellent, and treated us very well. Excellent location on seaside promenade, and close to the train station for convenient day trips to Rome and other locations. The hotel WiFi connection is free and fast. We highly recommend this hotel.

The mattress on the bed was a bit too firm, but we got used to it.

Helpful friendly staff. Large clean bedroom with nice sea view. Convenient location for town / port / rail and restaurants.

Nothing - met expectations of 3star hotel.

Hotel staff was friendly, courteous, informative and all around great. Very convenient while we awaited a cruise. Close to the port, restaurants and the train station.
