Hotel Miramare  

rooms were spacious with gorgeous private balcony view of Amalfi coast in Positano, staff was very frienndly with excellent advice on meals, trips, etc. It was like staying in Paradise.

A friendly receptionist, a very hard working porter. He carried our very heavy four luggages from and to the car walking the knee killing steps by himself.

Staircase down to the beach and to the parking. No free parking. Hair dryer didn't work

Location was perfect. Be prepared for steps but that is beauty of Positano.

Lovely view from our hotel room & we had our own private balcony. The room is also really beautiful with high ceilings and quaint authentic furnishings. The lady who works the front counter is also really helpful and lovely, she recommended places to eat and things to do, also helped us book a day trip to Capri. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Miramare.

You can't watch any tv without paying for it which as a bit of a bummer, I know people don't go on holiday to watch tv but my husband has a thing where he can't sleep without the sound of a tv in the background, even if we can't understand the language he still likes the murmur of sound to fall asleep so it was a bit of a bummer we couldn't even get a local channel on the tv. Small gripe which doesn't take away from the quality of the hotel or me wanting to recommend it to others.

Everything was great!! The hotel and the room were very clean and the view amazing!! Loved the decoration of both the room and the hotel. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful- especially Rosita the Great!!!

My stay in Italy ended in Positano with great satisfaction. Rosita and the staff were more than accomodating and made us feel at home. The view from our balcony was breath-taking and the location excellent. Wish I was back there and will return in the future.

the view and staff cannot be beat. also included with your stay is a wonderful boat ride thatshould not be missed. breakfast that is included is very nice.

location is good, however; the steps to get to the hotel are difficult. you must be in good shape to climb them or else it will take you a very long time to reach hotel

Rosita and the staff at Miramare make you feel like one of the family. We were always greeted with a smile and a chat, with staff going out of their way to make every moment of our stay special. The scenery surrounding the hotel and from the room's balcony is just utterly breath taking and the complimentary boat trip around the Amalfi coast just fabulous. You must stay a the Miramare when visiting the wonderful town of positano!

Nothing not to like....

Charming location, lovely porch with a beautiful view. The staff is very nice and helpful. Although not obvious to see from road, with proper landmark cues it is very easy to find and park.

Staff was great. Our room was spacious and had a great balcony with A+ view.

The facility and furnishings were a little dated. They also didn't have plush towels, linens and bedding.

Location was excellent with a fantastic view from our balcony.

Die Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar. Die Terasse welches unser Zimmer hatte war fantastisch. Positano ist nun mal ein Ort mit vielen Treppen. Das Miramare liegt ca. 220 Stufen oberhalb von der Piazza und ca. 100 Stufen unterhalb des Parkplatzes. Das Treppensteigen hält sich also in Grenzen. Der Frühstücksraum alleine ist schon sein Geld wert. Die Morgensonne kann man hier voll genießen und hat dabei in erster Reihe einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Tja, dann ist da noch das sehr freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Personal. Allen voran "Rostita". Wir haben noch nie in einem Hotel eine solche Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft erfahren. Rosita ist für das Hotel und die Gäste ein Hauptgewinn. Sie sorgt dafür, dass jeder Gast sich einzigartig fühlt. Da kommt man gerne wieder. Danke!

La vista al mar y terraza propia de la habitación, la excelente ubicación, el trato y atencion de todo el personal (en especial, de Rosita).

Hemos pasado con mi marido unos días espectaculares en el hotel, no solo por la habitación con una terraza divina colgada en el mar con una vista increíble sino también por la excelente hospitalidad y recomendaciones de Rosita, Nicola y Renato. Rosita nos recomendó los mejores lugares para recorrer y comer. Muy recomendable!

Great hotel - excellent staff, great facilities, ideally located, beautiful room & view.

Nothing - loved it!

The view from the terrace of our room and the view from the terrace where breakfast was served. Our room was lovely and very spacious. The breakfasts were lovely and the staff was very friendly.

It was a little noisy at night but that couldn't be helped if you wanted a view of the harbor.

The warm friendly welcome by Rosita made us immediately comfortable. She ably assisted us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. The entire staff was excellent. Our room, a delux double had a large comfortable balcony with two chaisses and a spectacular view of the sea, the beach and the stunning mountains and buildings of Positano. The room, sitting room and bathroom were very comfortable and had character reflecting the age and style of the building. Breakfasts were excellent, served in a stunning room whose ceiling was covered with the vines of a flowering bougainvillea, and that provided a spectacular view of Positano and the sea. This is a special hotel in a special place. We would love to return someday

The 211 stair climb up from the beach is not for the faint of heart, but is not extraordinary for any hotel in Positano. If you arrive by boat, the hotel can arrange to have porters meet you and take your luggage up for you for a modest fee (8 Eu/bag.) Its worth it.

Excelente "staff". Vistas increíbles desde la habitación. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.

Lo único que nos hubiera gustado es que no tuviera costo adicional estacionar el coche durante la noche (aunque así es Europa).

everything!! location is perfect, the view from the balcony is fantastic, people(staff) are very kind, helpful and charming. will definitely go there again!!
