Hotel Pupetto enjoys a beautiful location in Positano, directly on the charming beach of Fornillo, one of the most reserved and quiet spots of the city.

Bed was a little short and hard. No mirror or dressing table.Need a full length mirror
Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, stunning view
It would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problem, owing to the large amount of steps to get to the hotel and the beach.
The hotel is fantastic in every way. However the staff, go well beyond the call of duty to ensure that your experience of Positano is exceptional. Every night a local and well priced restaurant was booked for us that was exceptional
That we had to leave! Perhaps we could have been better prepared for arrival with managing steps and luggage
Views, location and Rosita! All other staff including Orlando were very good too.
The views were incredible, our rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were family that had come for a visit. We will definitely go back.
Everything. Great spot with views, not too high=not much walking. Staff more than helpful, food great, rooms spacious - recommend to all!
One of the nicest boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Spectacular views, wonderfully helpful staff, immaculately clean, superb breakfasts, classic architecture.
We loved everything. Our room was cute and had a great ocean view with a nice balcony. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room with bougainvillea on the ceiling. Staff was very helpful. Location was great .Would stay here every time!
The hotel is furnished nicely and is centrally located in the city. The views are fabulous and the staff is friendly. The hotel looks just like it odes in the photos. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel staff are absolutely lovable and Rosetta is a fabulous host. Eager to help from getting someone to carry your luggage from and back to the main rd, to giving you fantastic tips and a quick overview on how to make the best of your stay. All after you have had a chance to settle in of course. That way you can spend a little time planning your stay. Location is a good compromise between the beach and the top main road. The steps provided good exercise so no feeling guilty about having that delicious home made pasta dish or delightful cakes and the few glasses of wine. The view from the balcony embraced the town of Positano, its beach and and the wide open Mediterranean with is yachts and boats. Breakfast was a good selection and high standard and in a dining area with similar views. the lounge area for entertaining guests was also magnificently decorated in traditional Italian style.
The hotel is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff!! Rosita made us feel so welcome and was especially helpful in figuring out how to maximize our time since it was our first time in Positano. Everything she suggested that we do was fabulous, especially the day trip to Capri. Our balcony view was wonderful and private. Also, the luggage porter was right there when we arrived and ready to take our bags back up to the street when we were leaving!!! Not sure how he manages to haul them up those steps but we were thankful he was there!!!! Our stay in Positano was filled with great memories, due in large part to the Hotel Miramare!!!
We loved everything!!!!
The staff went out of their way to make sure you had a pleasant stay, not only in their hotel but in Positano. The location and view from the hotel room was perfect. The breakfast was lovely.
The over 200 steps (one way) to get to the hotel but keeps the weight off whilst travelling!
Hotel Miramare was perfect! The staff were so friendly, we immediately felt welcomed. Rosita was especially warm and gave us some great insider tips on the go-to spots. There is someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, so we felt safe and always had a person to ask a question. The hotel sits in a perfect location, just a short walk down stairs to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean, charmingly decorated, and roomy. The linens and towels were luxurious and the view from the balcony was the icing on the cake! The complimentary breakfast is in a gorgeous room overlooking the coast and was delicious. We can't wait to come back to Hotel Miramare!
friendly Rosita and fantastic view. Rosita, We miss you. your kindness will remember forever with beautiful miramare's nice view.
first time, you can go throgh many stairs, but you will never mind when you see the fantastic view.
breakfast,terrace views , room layout
stairs to and away from the hotel.
Excellent location! It was close to the beach and to the restaurants. Rosita went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful time! All her suggestions and recommendations were excellent!! I definitely recommend this hotel! Very convinient!
Everything about Hotel Miramare was excellent - and their breakfasts are about the best we have ever enjoyed anywhere! The very efficient Rosita gave us sound advice about local restaurants, and organised a private boat trip to Capri.
The steps were daunting for me, but not for my family who considered it all part of the experience
The Amalfi Coast is paradise and Positano is a jewel within it. Romantic, enchanting, charming. At the Miramare, the rooms though fairly Spartan, have an old world charm and breathtaking views. Best of all, your hostess Rosita is worth the trip all by herself! She has a true passion for the area, and a deep interest in making your vacation the best it can be. I would return to the Miramare just to see her! The rest of the staff, from the amazing porter I called "Hercules" for lugging heavy bags down hundreds of stone steps to the breakfast (delicious!) staff and chambermaids, are all top notch. If you want a little slice of heaven, go to the Miramare in Positano.
Access to the Hotel is difficult, but that's the nature of towns on the Amalfi coast. Parking is limited, streets are narrow, and every walk involves climbing or descending hundreds of steps. (Although it's a great way to burn the calories of the great food you'll eat!) Be forewarned, the rooms are not luxurious, if that's important to you.
Loved everything about this hotel- it's magic! The staff were so wonderful, the views were spectacular and the location of the hotel in Positano is perfect.
Excellent location with great sea view, parking of the hotel is very convenient Very nice breakfast lounge with excellent view of this great villiage
Accessibility to the hotel requires quite a lot of stairs But then again this is Positano, get ready to do some climbing and descending ....
Rosita took wonderful care of us. She made our dinner reservations and greeted us with hugs and smiles each day. The room was gorgeous and the view spectacular. The breakfast room is stunning with magnificent sea views and the food was good. Our dinners out we're tremendous thanks to Rosita!!! We will definitely return to stay at Miramare!!!
Leaving. The hotel is high enough to enjoy the view and the steps to the beach are manageable.
Staff were genius, place was fantastic in an amazing location. Staff were exceptionally helpful at every opportunity. Best breakfast location u are likely to see. Full marks.
The only thing, and this seems to be all of Italy, is 2 single beds pushed together equals a double bed......funny, it works kinda. I have stayed in far more expensive places which do the same thing. Given all the other fantastic attributes, it's not really a problem at all.
Everything about this place was excellent. Rosa greets you with a warm welcome, she has great recommendations for restaurants, lots of information about the area (what to do, how to get around, where to eat, what to wear-if you need a sweater to go out she will tell you before you walk out the door. Not only that but the service is superb. Every time my boyfriend and I stepped out of our room we would come back to new towels and a tidy space again. The hotel is very well positioned in Positano. After traveling around Italy for two weeks prior we can honestly say we got the best nights sleep here. The views from our room were also wonderful. Positano is a magical place and if you want a great value hotel with excellent service this is your place.
Rosita, Nicola, and Renaldo are all superior people. They went out of their way to make my wife and I feel comfortable always!! The Hotel Miramare is one of our favorite Hotel's we've stayed in during our travel adventures. This was our second time there. The Breakfast is first class, the location is excellent! We will be returning in the future. One is in total peace in Positano while staying at the Hotel Miramare. A slice a wonderful 4 sure!!
Rosetta was very friendly. Suitcase carrying guy fab. Great views from room. Cleaners did a great job (younger and older lady) Hotel was basic, and functional. Some attractive decor here and there.
Room 214 …when we arrived at Miramare, the weather was cold and the AC controls batteries had run out in both rooms so we were freezing…. ….bath water often didn't run hot, ….when let out bath water it covered the floor in water twice from an overflow plug in the floor by the toilet. …bath plug didn't fit, so had to keep topping up the bathwater. ….breakfast was basic, but did the job. ….no coffee making facilities in the room ….hairdryer attached to the wall wasn't powerful enough to dry hair quickly. …beds were not the most comfortable …booked with booking.com which was more expensive than booking with the hotel, apparently, when we paid our final bill it was135 euros more then booking direct with the hotel
