The view of Mount Vesuvius was amazing. The hotel is very homely and welcoming. It has character. Perfect location closer to the centre of Naples than I expected. It is just on the edge of the main square. We loved it and cant wait to go back.
The staff is very friendly/helpful. Breakfast is lovely. The location is great. The room is wonderful.
Lovely view of the waterfront, from large bedroom with entry hall and big bathroom. Lavish breakfast. Nice helpful staff.
The hotel people were very helpful!
Great breakfast with lots of variety. Very friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Some nice comfort details. Did not see view from terrace because of rain, but we have been told it's excellent. View from our sea front lived up to the name of Miramare.
The views from the hotel over The Bay of Naples is worth the stay. Breakfast is excellent and on the rooftop terrace for a memorable stay. The staff very helpful with luggage and local tips. The beds are extremely comfortable.
The hotel is a bit tired in places and could do with a bit of work but this does not distract from its appeal.
Great location and friendly staff, reasonable value for money.
Our room needed a new bath it was cracked by the plug hole. Its an old hotel that has some nice characteristics but our bathroom needs a refit before too long.
Amazing views for a first stay in Naples. Great staff from the check in and help with local sites and choosing restaurants. Highly recommended.
Liked everything abput this hotel.
Good location close to all the main sites and historic centre. Lovely view from the room we had. Ask for a full sea view. Owner very friendly and accommodating.
Decor a bit tired and dated. No restaurant and limited bar. Limited choice at breakfast although views spectacular from the roof terrace.
Wonderful location overlooking Mt. Vesuvius. Rooftop breakfast area. Very nice breakfasts.
Perhaps the hotel could do with being refurbished in the near future.
The hotel itself is charming. The staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The rooftop breakfast is excellent. The view across the bay is spectacular.
We had a lot of trouble with the A/C. One time it simply didn't come on and we had to call the desk. It was too weak even when working. It seems like during the day the A/C is turned off for the whole hotel.
Comfortable bed Excellent location Generally quiet Helpful staff
Breakfast- poor/ inconsistent. Room very small- wide range of rooms. Probably very hot in summer. Average value for money
Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and gave us a lovely last memory of Naples.
Public trannsport non existent. So we faced taxis or very long walks from far away metro stops.
This building is almost 200 years old and has been owned by one family for over 50 years. It shows with the friendly staff, amazing location across the street from the ocean and close to downtown Naples. The rooftop breakfast was to die for. Awesome
The only thing i thought was missing was a book about the history of this amazing building. And of course the family who have owned and run this hotel for over 50 years.
Rooms had balconies with sea view. The larger than single bed was very comfortable and the rooms was clean. The service was impeccable - very attentive staff.
location. Old house. Nice breakfast. small balcony in shade from strong sun. Nice sheets and bed. Friendly helpful staff. Felt very safe in this Hotel
Bit small and slightly worn room but overall very good value. Super comfortable, slept really well
nice place on boulevard, nice staff, excellent breakfast
room without view, not very clean, old
This is an excellent hotel well located. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and caring. My wife became ill and needed a doctor the hotel sorted everything and for us it seemed they went the extra mile. Fortunately it was a passing problem and when she up and around the staff genuinely asked after her.
Views from hotel Breakfast terrace Old style of hotel Wifi Friendly staff
decor was very poor....1970's feel and I don't think it has been updated since...your headboard on the bed is a mirror!! Air conditioning was centrally controlled and was very loud in the room Bathrooms are tiny...hard to turn around in there Car parking is in another building, is extra, and as they pack the cars in you have to wait for a long time before they can dig yours out...
Fabuous location on lungomare. Charming hotel. Lovely breakfast and view on terrace/balcony. View of bay from bedroom's balcony. Wonderful fine linen sheets. Helpful owner and staff. Safety, as door to hotel kept locked.Welcome prosecco.
Couldn't get wifi to work in room but worked well in reception/sitting area. Suggest clearer information for use of the safe.
Wonderful location with amazing view of Vesuvius and Bay of Naples from our room. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable
Decor was a little tired, but this didn't detract from our stay.
The hotel is well located for attractions in Naples. The view of the mountain is beautiful. Breakfast is great. Hotel staff were very helpful and would recommend this hotel.
Not much little bit out dated but that give it the charm. Fantastic place
The breakfast was very nice. The room was always extremely clean and enjoyed how they would turn down the beds and leave little candies and a weather report for the next day. Very close to many attractions and the port. The two resident doggies are cute, and the staff were friendly, engaging and very helpful.
The only thing that I would critique is that they didn't get back to any of my email communication with regards to getting to the hotel from the airport. So perhaps they could look at paying more attention there.
