Very friendly staff. They made sure everything taken care off and would help with any questions we had. Good breakfast. Clean facilities. Short walk to Vatican City. Short walk to train system. Good restaurants close to the hotel.
Better directions to the hotel even a taxi driver had a hard time finding this location. Once there hard to understand the correct button to push for the suites on the front intercom system. Bigger single beds, this was the only thing wrong with the comfort.
I like everything in this hotel, the staff ( 2 people ) is very friendly, very supportive and cooperative, the Italian Manager is amazing, its location is very close to vatican museum, car access there is easy, it's connected to 4 bus stations besides the metro station of its area. Nearby you can find food markets (from which you can buy everything), bakeries and Chinese markets. It's like a an apartment in a Roman household building, you feel yourself at your own home, it does have the hotel style with all nosies around. I'm loving it.
Good price, very helpful and friendly staff. The room has everything you need. Small fridge, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities. The location is good for Vatican City. The apartment is near Cipro metro station. In the cellar next door is a great restaurant called Dop & Doc.
The bed is a little hard and small in the length for us (but we are 1.81 meter and taller). The area around isn't as cosy as trastervera.
The Rooms were very proper clean and aestetically Inside an Appartement House. Very quiet and neat. Good Infrastructure close to Metro. Very friendly and cultivated staff.
The staff accommodated our times and brought breakfast to our room each morning. Check-in was good and staff very nice and helpful. We also liked the location which is close to the metro!
The internet was down our 2nd day so could not use and we could not pay with our credit card- needed cash. Remember, no A/C, but we knew that before booking.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and modern and the location was great, only 5 minutes from the Vatican and from the metro! Highly recommended.
It's a bit difficult to find since it is in a building with other offices and residences so my only suggestion would be to try to mark it more clearly for people not familiar with Italian addresses and buildings.
Location, Friendly and helpfull staff and everything else.
Breakfast served in room
The location to St Peters! The quiet rooms. Basil and Bino were helpful in every regard. The cleanliness of the bathrooms. The mini bar was a plus.
The plastic chairs were not comfortable and outdated.
Good location. Close to Vatican. Very nice, quiet rooms. Good, friendly service. Bus and train close by. No cash deposits, payment done by credit card. I would recommend this hotel. It fits your needs on a budget.
Via Candia area was a little seedy to walk in but really not dangerous at all.
Fabulous place to stay 100m from the Vatican walls. Easily accessible to 2 x Metro points making easy access into Central Rome. it is not a hotel but rooms in an apartment block. People are very attentive and will help you all they can would recommend to anyone. Lift available too as rooms are on 2nd floor.
The hotel was located about 5mins from the Vatican and was perfectly located for every other attraction either by metro or walking. Staff was very friendly, rooms comfortable and facilities were good. As we were celebrating my husbands birthday whilst visiting we came back to find a bottle of wine and glasses in the room with a note wishing him happy birthday. Was a great touch and made my husband very happy. Would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to visit rome.
Breakfast was a little samey however by mixing the Italian and English version there was a bit of everything for people. Some fruit would be a bonus
It's a great place to stay while visiting Rome. The location it's 5 minutes walk from the entrance to Vatican Museum; 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station and 10 meters to the bus station. We really appreciated the staff, very friendly and helpful, really, really great. Thank's for everything Basil !
The two gentlemen who manage the place are very professional, reliable and willing to help. Very quiet! We could sleep at peace. EXCELLENT!
In principle nothing. For the benefit of those who are not familiar with Italy, maybe it would be better a place where they can talk to personnel present at all times. Again, this was NOT an issue for us.
-stuff:extremely helpful & kind! -position v.close to metro station -cleanliness -breakfast:not superb, but satisfying
-Small room,without balcony
-friendly staff -close to Cipro Metro station -close to Vatican - 10-15 min by Metro to all major sites -supermarket close by -clean, nice rooms
check in done during specific times (staff is happy to wait for you if you are arriving late and get informed by e-mail in advance! )
Wonderful tiny hotel just 2 houses away from Vatican Museum, 3 minutes walk from underground station. Very quiet place, all facilities clean and working, even good pressure of hot water, which is rare in Italian hotels/hostels. There are just 4 or 5 rooms in hotel. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Worth the money.
Breakfast is very simple: some ham/cheese/bread, juice (not freshmade), tea or coffee, jam/honey, some cookies and that's all. Served right in the room at desired time. However, there are plenty of good Italian restaurants out there (as well as lots of bad ones: drawback of a tourist area). Also, there is Spar/Carrefour and excellent food market just 2 min away from hotel, so we added some our food to breakfast.
Staff were helpful and friendly
Location is ok if you are visiting the Vatican otherwise it's quite a few stops on the metro and the area seems a bit run down. Rooms were functional but not exceptional.
excelent location to vatican and rome tourist excelent rooms and bath
Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean facilities. Short walk to Vatican City.
Very friendly staff and cozy rooms. Excellent location for visiting Vatican, 5 minutes to Corso metro station.
it was a bit noisy starting from 7:30 AM
The staff were extremely helpful and once I had booked they sent me a confirmation email telling me how to find the suites from the airport, bus or nearest train station. The suites were easy to find, although do not look for a hotel type building as this looks like a block of traditional flats. Upon arrival we were early but shown straight to our rooms which were very clean and comfortable. We had a choice of breakfast that was delivered to our room at the time we chose and this was fresh and really nice. The staff bent over backwards to help us with anything and on the last day we were not leaving until 5pm so they allocated us a room to use until then so we could have a shower and use the facilities before leaving. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Rome. It is right next to the Vatican city walls/entrance and is in the cheaper/more local part of Rome so you can dine in local authentic restaurants also. If I visit again I will definitely be staying here again!!
