Near the bus & train station and located at the main street. inside the hotel is quite comfortable; bathroom with hair-drier. Located in a small alley; a a4 paper will let you know, so pay attention. I spotted that so I found the hotel easily, so do not overlook. The alley is just next to a restaurant selling pizza and ice- cream. Just walk along the main street after getting off the bus and across the bridge. strange that you ring the door bell and a odd lady requires you to go to another hotel's reception. not using warmer; the air-conditioner in the room is not warm enough.

it was a verry big suprise when i arrived for my first time in venedig, and y found out that this small hotel is in the middle of everthing you need. i would say at the begginning of the heart of the town. i acspect unfriendly receptionists , but what i found was a verry helpfull smiling and friendly person. she brang me out of the hoel in a nice place to eat. and because of the small numbers of costemers in the hotel they let me even sleep in theyer better hotel for the same price! i absolutly surprised about what i had. and for shure i will go back there. it s easy, conftable, nice and absolutly clean. i wish them all the best and hope that they gone have a wunderfull sumer season starting in a few weeks. ps. venezia in winter is just a dream....

Easy to find The price at €210 inc tax for a week room only. We had a room at the front which had foot traffic noise for large parts of the day and night. The decor furnishing and bedding was worn.

Is really good location. The price was cheap so was the best solution. There are tv, phone and heater (AC) in the rooms, so all you need to stay one- two nights It's only 2 star hotel so you don't need to look for something as better hotels have

The service from the lady running it was good (but she operates out of her higher-end hotel down the road so if you want her help you have to walk down the street to get it). Location was good too if you want to be close to the train station. It is a good 25+ minute walk to Piazza San Marco though, and that is without getting lost. I think we were lost for 70% of our time in Venice - and we loved every moment of it! The bed was very uncomfortable and the shower is teeny tiny with mouldy ceiling looming overhead. Gross. Also, the steep set of stairs up into the hotel are not easy with cases or backpacks so bear that in my mind when considering. In hindsight, we probably would have paid more for a little more comfort.

While the room was very small, and the price high (but that might not be unusual for Venice), the staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The room was small for the price... I was travelling alone and this room would have been uncomfortable for two people, though it had a double bed.

Nothing, only the localitation near train station Tho Hotel is absolutly dark and unatractive and when you arrive you do all of possible for not stay it . The chequing you must do at another hotel "Antica casa Carettoni". We decide to change but I don´t recomended at all . They says 3 stars???? The smell of the room it is terrible, the staff not friendly at all and the price very expensive. They have breakfast but they do not offer the possibility (even paying ) because we went from booking .com .

It is situated in a convenient location... Thought it is conveniently located, however it is very difficult to find, as it is situated in a very narrow line back in the alley... The room is not value for money as the aircon is not working, there is not wifi connection and for the money paid (euro 100), ity does not include breakfirst... Worse hotel I ever stay for the money paid....

The rooms shown in the photos are of the sister hotel and are not a real depiction of what you are getting. It is down a small alleyway in a busy section of town and is awkward to find and enter. The room was tiny and the air conditioner did not work. The tv required a 10 euro deposit for the remotes, however even then only had one channel available. The hotel removed the money from the credit card immediately upon booking instead of once at the hotel- as stated. Staff are condescending and rude. Do not expect too much for your money on Venice..

Good location. Very difficult to find the hotel, the map and photos never matched with the real hotel given in your site. Very narrow lane, hardly you can pass through it.

Close to the Train Station Poor Signage. I spent half an hour looking for the hotel due to very very poor signage. The hotel is poorly advertised. By the time I found it, I was so tired of walking around.

The Hotel staff at the check in hotel were lovely they assisted in carrying my bags up the many tiny stairs of the hotel and helpful with information I had about transportation etc The hotel wasn't easy to find as the information on booking.com was incorrect with checking in and out at the sister hotel "the zecchini" which has closed down. I booked accommodation for a single room however the hotel placed me in a room with a double room and I ended up having to pay more than what I wanted if they had given me a single room with a single bed. Due to the timing of events in Venice I booked the hotel for its availability however you can definitely pay alot less for a room that includes breakfast as a buffet breakfast is not included at Hotel Moderno.

absolutely nothing! Where do I begin. First to get to the hotel you have to walk through a narrow hallway that felt about 2ft wide. It's very outdated furniture had stains , the ceiling in the bathroom had stains and the shower curtain was barely hanging on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Please avoid!!!!

Bathroom was modern and clean. Great location. Sleeping room was very different than the pictures on the website - not as luxurious as what is pictsured. It was a little difficult to find as it is hidden in a "alley way", but don't be afraid to ask for directions.

The room although airconditioned was hot and claustriphobic. The bathroom as small. The stairs to get to the top floor were narrow and hard to access with a suitcase - no lift facility was available.

Кроме чистоты более или менее в номере-ничего слышимость замечательная, в номере как на улице.
