The location was excellent. Just opposite the rail station and the beggining of the main sightseeings. Only 20 min walking from the sea. Excellent choice. The room was too small... for just one person (it had only one cabinet....).

The location was perfect just opposite the station in Verdi Square. The room was very comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a good hotel to stay at in Genova. Thoroughly enjoyed.

The hotel is ok for a short stay: excellent location and good value for money are the biggest pros in my opinion. Not suitable for a romantic getaway or for a prolonged stay. It feels a bit old and stuffy. We both had the impression of past glory and a bit of decadence.

Well situated and close to historic center of Genua. Breakfast was sufficient and in contradiction with a lot of comments we read on Booking.Com ! Wifi was impossible to use due to weak signal strength and no PC downstairs as backup. First proposed room we refused (no space, too small) and the next one we got was OK, situated on the right side of the building and overlooking the terrace. Choose this hotel so we could take breakfast in the sun on the terrace but there are contruction works on the running and within a year it won't be possible to sit on that terrace. Location was optimal because close to railroad station and terminal of Volabus (airport shuttle). Hotel does not comply with the amount of stars it received from booking.com. I would propose they would substract at least 1 star.

It has a style of "long gone times" with quite a baroque decor. It is also very convenient for catching the airport bus as the stop is in the square just in front of the hotel. There was no way to open the shades, although there wasn't any view and the square down was very noisy.

- The bathroom was a pleasant welcome after a long journey: spacious, with the option to either take a shower or bath and very clean. - The restaurant, specifically the breakfast was abundant in choice and variety, food was proper tempered (hot/ cold) and a hospitable catering host. The outside appearance should be better noticeable. It seemed hidden between the beige and greyish surrounding buildings.

Great location, breakfast was good, staff were a bit stand-of-ish but reasonably efficient. Upon arriving by bicycle we were informed that we had to pay €10 per day to store them in the garage. Felt this was a bit of a rip off.

The room was fine for a family of 4 and the location near the staion is superb. A good breakfast but the room they use is a little small. The interior of the hotel is nice and no problems with cleanliness. For us a major disappointment was the receptionists. A very haughty and unfriendly attitude.particularly one of the women. We stayed there 3 days and each day her " attitude " was a real low point to the hotel. Even when we checked out not even a " Did you enjoy your stay ? " ..!! Wrong career choice I think !!

The staff spoke good clear English. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice - hot and cold. Good internet connection in the bedroom. The room was disappointingly small for a four star hotel.

Nice foyer, staff were pleasant. Our room was very poor - it was near the kitchen so the fridges buzzed all night. THe walls were very thin so we were woken early by breakfast preperations too. A maid burst in at 9.30 while we were asleep. A little expensive for what you get also.
