It was wonderful to return to This hotel. Recent renovations to the lounge and relocation of the breakfast room are both inspired and beautifully done. My favourite room was waiting for me.

Having just come from Israel where hotel breakfasts are a high art, I found the presentation of only 1 type of cheese at the Hotel Modigliani disappointing.

Expensive for afternoon tea- no drink making facilities in rooms!

Excellent location, everywhere is within walking distance. Inviting reception and friendly staff. Room was clean tidy and good bathroom.

Breakfast was ok as we only ate light, but may be limited for those that prefer a bigger breakfast. There are croissants, toast and selection of cold meats, cheese and fruits. Is on a bit of a hill and narrow road so bear that in mind on your walk home!

The room could have used a fan as the weather was unusually warm and rainy. The air conditioning was turned off. this made the evenings and nights humid and sticky.

The Modigliani staff was very accomodating and helpful. They booked our tours for us, as we arrived last minute and only had 1 day in Rome. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the breakfast was great. Would recommend to anyone staying in Rome.

Great property excellent staff

Very good combination - on one hand it's very quiet place to have a rest after busy day and location is very close to all famous attractions and public transports - it was exactly what we needed. Staff is very friendly, always keep smiling and ready to help in any situation. Good and variable breakfast . Room was clean and tidy,

wi-fi is available only in hotel's lounge (unfortunately not in the room).

The hotel was very clean and extremely well organised. The staff were helpful and courteous and very obliging. The breakfast was varied and relaxed. The location was excellent - central but quiet. I could not fault the hotel at all and would certainly return there and recommend it to others.

Modigliani had a welcoming and helpful staff. The location is good w/the Metro close by even though we used cabs mostly. Many good restaurants w/i walking distance. Could catch the on/off bus for sightseeing a couple blocks away. A beautiful inner garden for relaxing, but best of all, where they would serve you breakfast which was included. Breakfasts were delicious and served with a smile. They speak English which was very helpful. Jackie D., Easton, md, usa

I was bitten by tiger mosquitoes and a spider which left me itching most of my stay. I would recommend taking insect repellent and using it if you sit in the garden at night.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were small but clean and comfortable, bed was good. Close to great restaurants we walked to all sights and great shopping. Pick up to and from airport was excellent. Would recommend anytime.

The room was tiny and the doorknob was tricky; we got locked in our room once and staff treated it as if it was "no problem." The room was also very dark and the only mirror in the room was far away from the light. The shower was coffin-sized and that made it very difficult to wash. There is no soundproofing, so it is hard to sleep before 12am (because of the other guests) and after 6am (because of the staff). The breakfast was very limited and only a small portion of it was ready when the service opened.

Good location to shops and tourist attractions. Clean and good value for central Rome in the summer

It would be better if they recommended good local places to eat rather than their friend around the corner that only had ppl from the hotel eating there

Hotel chosen for its character and courtyard garden which did not disappoint. Common areas inside and out are attractive and friendly. Rooms small with small shower cabinet but all works well. Would return as location and staff terrific with good local restaurants.

The wonderful people who staff the front desk made our stay particularly enjoyable. They are friendly and helpful. Bravo!

The staff was amazing! They were extremely helpful, concerned with our well-being and really pleasant and polite (a rarity in Rome). The location was also phenomenal! (About two blocks away from Triton Fountain, one block away from Barberini subway station and Via Veneto). The location really is unbeatable! It's about 10 min walk from Fontana di Trevi and other main Roman sties. The hotel has a great area for breakfast and also has a very relaxing lounge area. It's a very small hotel (about 3-4 rooms per floor), so the staff really does seem to genuinely care about the customers.

There is no Internet in the rooms; wireless is only available in the lounge/lobby area. Personally, since we were on vacation, I preferred this, since that way my husband could "unplug" from the real world, but if you're a business traveler, this is not a good thing...
