The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
Convenient, quiet location, good breakfast. Our small room nevertheless had a nice big shower room. The public areas were very comfortable and the staff helpful.
No water glasses in the room (although hotel expensive for 3* classification). They were provided when we asked....... Dining room cleared promptly at 10.00....on one morning the lights were turned on and off a few minutes later to hurry people along!
Service great, clean, and good location.
Bed and pillows not comfortable, bathroom cramped an no place to put anything. Poor lighting.
The location is outstanding, and the small boutique hotel is very refreshing with a wonderful and very helpful staff!
We loved the location of the hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The rooms were a bit small and there was limited storage for your clothes, especially if you were staying for more than a few nights, which we were.
the staff, the breakfast, the location were all top-notch.
We were there for five days, so the breakfast was repetitive, good, but the same.
Everything was superior. It is now our only hotel in Rome. Staff was courteous, friendly, and sincerely out to please.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel. Absolutely nothing.
Courtyard Breakfast and breakfast room Shower was a good size Street was quiet Staff were familiar with tourist activities in Rome
Room was very basic Price was a little high for the quality of the room My friend hit his head while looking for a bathroom off of the lobby and the staff didn't show any concern for him
Room size was adequate but not large. Staff tried to be genuinely helpful. Breakfasts were good but lacked variety. Room was quiet and well maintained, although the scant furniture was all very old and well used. The bed was just a tad better than no bed at all.
Our recommendation would be qualified. This hotel was the most expensive (per night) of six hotels we stayed in on this trip to Europe (and far from the most luxurious or best appointed). We have never stayed in Rome before so cannot judge how it measures up to other properties in the same class. Having said that, it was only the second from the bottom (came in 5th) for comfort, room size, breakfast quality, staff helpfulness, and location. Hotel is located near the top of a hill, two blocks from public transportation. There is only one restaurant within a block of the hotel and the neighboring piazza (two blocks away) has restaurants that primarily are there for the tourist trade (mediocre food and high prices).
Quiet location, but only minutes walk from the heart of things. Bedroom quite small, but perfectly adequate. Rooms at back on top 2 floors have nice views across rooftops of Rome to Victor Emmanuel monument. Small hotel, but nonetheless provides good facilities [great showers] and lovely breakfasts. Also very helpful/friendly staff. The little patisserie just across/down the road does nice cakes and good coffee, and at amazing prices - if you like Dachshunds, you'll love their dog [Oscar] too!
Inability to provide tea/coffee making facilities in our room - a curious British expectation?
lack of evening menu
Fantastic staff, excellent breakfast, clean, great location.
This hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of just about all of Rome's Sites. It has a great breakfast buffet and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for a single or couple just seeing Romes sites for a day or two. But dont stay in a standard room if you have luggage or expect a romantic stay in room - very small rooms with no dresser or closet space.
I paid 8 euro extra for the "upgraded" standard room with balcony overlooking the courtyard. Not worth the cost. The inside rooms over the courtyard have balconies but are smaller with tiny showers 2'x2', and no counter for toiletries, and no closet / dresser space for clothes. If you want a nice room with balcony pay the extra 80 euro for the top floor suites. Those are very nice
All else was great, location, staff, lobby and breakfast room and it helped that they could call a car to pick us up from the airport at 55 Euros.
I would have liked it if the mattress had a mattress cover, and if the pillows were feather. Also free internet would have been much preferred rather than paying 10 Euros a day which is a lot. Also, they served breakfast only until 10:00 and on vacation we tended to sleep later, and would appreciate a 10:30 finish to breakfast.
Location and the front desk staff. The breakfast was very good and the price is right
We would definitely recommend this to friends. Great location and quiet. Around the corner literally from all the action. Great stay.
Staff was very helpful on directions. Breakfasts were great. Location was perfect.
The peoples who in reception all of them is very friendly and kinds
Decor in common areas, patio, and hotel help with reservations and directions
Super location, attention to detail, helpful staff, nice breakfast room and choice
Lack of wi-fi in rooms and noisy neighbours with flip flips on the stairs!
Everything was perfect
Good location in terms of distance from attractions although on a dingy back street
Breakfast was restaurant leftovers, a bowl of peas, carrots and uncooked potatoes On leaving staff tried to get us to use their private car for 55 euros when we could get a taxi for 30 Walls were very thin, could hear people coming back late and a baby crying
Excellent small hotel, extremely well located in the centre of Rome, with very friendly and efficient English speaking staff. The breakfast was very good and we also had a very nice lunch there on the day of our arrival. The free wi-fi in the lobby worked well.
Good location. Excellent breakfast. Very nice communal areas and lovely, helpful staff.
Rooms a bit basic compared to the other areas. There was free Wifi in reception otherwise there was a charge, the only hotel I came across in 9 of the same standard.
The location was fantastic, near the metro and within walking distance of lots of places of interest. Comfortable room and lounge with good wifi. Very good breakfast with lots of choices.
The terrace which was very pretty was a bit grubby no one had cleaned it up from the night before so we had our drinks with old cigarette butts. The cost of our drinks was over the top - especially given the quality and quantity of them. They could capitalise on this terrace a bit more.
