- Well located - Room a little bit small but there is a balcony ! - Staff very friendly and polite - Small hotel very quiet
- Breakfast smaller than on the pictures but nice (maybe because it was end of january)
Loved staying in this hotel. The staff were great and really helpful and friendly, and put up with my awful attempt at Italian! The hotel was in walking distance to lots of sites, closest to the Spanish steps. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Wifi worked well. The breakfast was amazing, so many options! I really recommend staying here, and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance. Grazzi mille!
the staff is excellent service very good location
breakfast is very poor ,no vegetables selection , no fresh rolls ,no eggs selection . the regular rooms are very small and for those are not valuable
the place and the quality of services for the money i paid
i dont have any negative comment
Excellent staff (with 24 hour reception), with good english and knowledge of Rome, and always willing to help. Great location, 2 minutes walk to the Barberini stop on the metro, 5-10 minutes walk to Trevi and Spanish Steps - so basically a safe and lively area to wander around in.
Our wifi caused us a great deal of grief - in the room it only seemed to work on one device at a time, and that too sporadically.
The hotel is situated near the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps also the hop on hop off bus is very close by and there are some very nice restaurants within easy walking distance
There really is nothing to dislike about the hotel is ideal if you would like to get around Rome and see the sights
Location and cleanliness
a little small
Loved the location, 5 minutes from Spanish steps and within walking distance of a lot of sites. Staff were very helpful and nice, hotel was clean and nice. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to people
Breskfast ended at 10am, went down on the last day at 10 on the dot to grab a couple of croissants for the room, the waitress was not very pleasant and was initially telling me no I couldn't take anything, until someone else came in and said it was ok. Was a little annoyed as slept through my slsne for breakfast and just wanted to take something away, thought she was a little unaccomadating
The excellent location, next to metro.
I have never eaten such poor breakfast. inadmissible!!! Also I did not like that right after we arrived we were asked to pay. The room was very small, very poor insulation. Very noisy.
This in an intimate place, perfectly situated to tour Rome on foot. The staff are friendly, attentive and responsive. The breakfasts are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It feels genuinely Italian, and this adds profoundly to the 'Roman' experience. We have used the hotel on three occasions in the past decade, and the qualities described above have been unwavering! We would love to go again!
We have stayed twice, pre and post refurbishement and it lived up to our expectations both times Great location. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would certainly recommend it.
Pillows not very comfortable. No bar.
Location was great as was the breakfast and the staff was really helpful and friendly!
Room was a bit small.
The location,we could walk around the rome and that permitted us to see more. The hotel itself is very chic, on a very quite street, great staff and a great welcoming.
i won't say i didn't like, but they can do better regarding the breakfast.
Excellent building and staff, close to the very center but also quiet. Among the most clean hotels I have ever stayed in. Very nice breakfast, and unique decoration. I would have booked again
The pillows need change, not comfortable at all
I stayed for 6 days at hotel Modigliani in October 2014, wonderful hotel, facilities and room, and one of the best staff I have seen, very supportive and always willing to help!
The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
Convenient, quiet location, good breakfast. Our small room nevertheless had a nice big shower room. The public areas were very comfortable and the staff helpful.
No water glasses in the room (although hotel expensive for 3* classification). They were provided when we asked....... Dining room cleared promptly at 10.00....on one morning the lights were turned on and off a few minutes later to hurry people along!
Service great, clean, and good location.
Bed and pillows not comfortable, bathroom cramped an no place to put anything. Poor lighting.
The location is outstanding, and the small boutique hotel is very refreshing with a wonderful and very helpful staff!
We loved the location of the hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The rooms were a bit small and there was limited storage for your clothes, especially if you were staying for more than a few nights, which we were.
the staff, the breakfast, the location were all top-notch.
We were there for five days, so the breakfast was repetitive, good, but the same.
Everything was superior. It is now our only hotel in Rome. Staff was courteous, friendly, and sincerely out to please.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel. Absolutely nothing.
Courtyard Breakfast and breakfast room Shower was a good size Street was quiet Staff were familiar with tourist activities in Rome
Room was very basic Price was a little high for the quality of the room My friend hit his head while looking for a bathroom off of the lobby and the staff didn't show any concern for him
Room size was adequate but not large. Staff tried to be genuinely helpful. Breakfasts were good but lacked variety. Room was quiet and well maintained, although the scant furniture was all very old and well used. The bed was just a tad better than no bed at all.
Our recommendation would be qualified. This hotel was the most expensive (per night) of six hotels we stayed in on this trip to Europe (and far from the most luxurious or best appointed). We have never stayed in Rome before so cannot judge how it measures up to other properties in the same class. Having said that, it was only the second from the bottom (came in 5th) for comfort, room size, breakfast quality, staff helpfulness, and location. Hotel is located near the top of a hill, two blocks from public transportation. There is only one restaurant within a block of the hotel and the neighboring piazza (two blocks away) has restaurants that primarily are there for the tourist trade (mediocre food and high prices).
