We have just spent four wonderful days in Venice with friends. We were very lucky to have brilliant weather so were able to enjoy all that the city has to offer. We found the Molino Stucky an ideal centre as it was quiet and away from the crowds. However, the frequent courtesy boat service meant that we were able to get into the main part of the town within five or ten minutes. It is an excellent hotel - comfortable, attractive, with very helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely looking building, but of a maze inside. Character a plenty all over Skyline bar for cocktails and nibbles was excellent. We were there every night
Only two restaurants open during our stay. Limited menu available Housekeeping standards a little less than would have been expected Some parts of the building smell a little "ancient"
The free shuttle service
What i didn't like is that they close the room serivce. No food after 10:30 Also, I didnt like that they dont have a free internet connection like other 5 stars hotels
Ms. Amimi (Front Office) was particularly helpful. Please ensure my stay was updated to my Hilton Honors Card. Thank you.
Free shatter to the city center , gym and helpful staff
That I didn't get any complementary water or snaks to get that I have to be a member of Hilton guest member ship its insane how come I would think to be a member if they don't treat me like a member , gosh it's just a bottle of water for GOD sake
Not much alternative bar /eats locally but the shuttle runs regularly. World class breakfast
Wifi is not free
All was badd
The way to reach the hotel.
The building is impressive and the friendly staff. The view is very nice especially at the skyline bar. The hotel is offset from the main Venice city which makes it quieter and is only a few minutes boat ferry away.
Unfortunately the pool is closed so we missed the view from the pool. The boat ferry does not operate from 12-2 pm
The open aspect with great views over towards Zattere. Shuttle boat service great but alternatively walkable delicious local dining options too.
Can be tricky to get a second coffee at breakfast and though the complementary boat across the canal was fab in November not sure how well it would work at peak season
friendly stuff. really good breakfast, free shuttle to the city
WIFI is not free at the romm. it is terible. we paid for the deluxe room for 3 nights and had to pay for the wifi as well....
Everything and especially the amazing views from the Tower a Suite I got upgraded to.
As always, the linens and pillows were wonderful, however; not for $$$. This hotel is a great place for a convention and hosting large group parties.
I had stayed a couple of nights earlier in another hotel with the tour group we were traveling with and was more impressed with the budget hotel amenities and location than I was with the Hilton.
The beds was comfortable. The restaurant and bar were excellent. We were there in late October and the pool was drained.
The room smelled like sewage and we had to leave the window open while there. The upgrade to an "executive suite" was not worth the additional 70 euros. They sold it as a free breakfast and snack in the afternoon. They had sold so many of these upgrades there was no room to sit in the afternoon and they ran out of food, the tables were not cleaned off quickly and there were kids running in and out grabbing food and running around in the lobby.
This booking was a terrible experience. I liked nothing about it.
The staff has no care for you or special situation. No accomidation for guest request of change. They are horrible people in my opinion.
When we booked, we asked for the room which we had stayed in previously, (room 233 in the Bienalle building); When we arrived our room was in another building, nothing like as nice, with bed, not facing the Gudecca canal, but with a supplement to be paid of €80 per night. I presume this misunderstanding was caused by the operator not understanding my English. In short the stay was very disappointing.
No free wifi No smoking room
Nice historical place
Very Week breakfast value Very old multi media services and televion Too many steps take to get internet access.you should call to Internet support team and solve Internet connection yourself Expensive food at hotel restaurant in compare of other place
Hotel is clean and very smart. Very efficient, friendly staff. The free boat to St Marks Square area is a boon - every 20 minutes most of the day. The view from the rooftop bar over Venice is superb.
The only downside for us was that the rooftop pool was closed (we arrived a few days after it closed for the winter). We were aware of this before we traveled though, but it was disappointing.
Staff offered very poor room to buy an upgrade
The friendliness and eagerness of the staff to please its guests. The continental breakfast was outstanding. The room was grand with marble floor, double sink bathroom.
There isn't anything we didn't like.
The rooftop bar is great. It has spectacular views. The hotel shuttle is great to get to and from the main island.
Sometimes it was a wait for the shuttle and it would have been great if the shuttle staff helped patrons with their heavy luggage.
The view from our room. Restaurants were pretty good and fairly priced.
The staff was unfriendly and in some cases rude. They was some price gouging at every turn and annoying up selling of some executive area, which we smartly refused. E.g., 6 Euros for single cup of expresso. Are you kidding?
Rooms only on Tower A Restaurants Breakfast boat to and from St Marcos
the bed was amazing, we are now on the hunt for something similar. The sky bar and Long Island ice teas, best I've ever had
the bar prices but what do you excpect
