The open aspect with great views over towards Zattere. Shuttle boat service great but alternatively walkable delicious local dining options too.
Can be tricky to get a second coffee at breakfast and though the complementary boat across the canal was fab in November not sure how well it would work at peak season
friendly stuff. really good breakfast, free shuttle to the city
WIFI is not free at the romm. it is terible. we paid for the deluxe room for 3 nights and had to pay for the wifi as well....
Everything and especially the amazing views from the Tower a Suite I got upgraded to.
As always, the linens and pillows were wonderful, however; not for $$$. This hotel is a great place for a convention and hosting large group parties.
I had stayed a couple of nights earlier in another hotel with the tour group we were traveling with and was more impressed with the budget hotel amenities and location than I was with the Hilton.
The beds was comfortable. The restaurant and bar were excellent. We were there in late October and the pool was drained.
The room smelled like sewage and we had to leave the window open while there. The upgrade to an "executive suite" was not worth the additional 70 euros. They sold it as a free breakfast and snack in the afternoon. They had sold so many of these upgrades there was no room to sit in the afternoon and they ran out of food, the tables were not cleaned off quickly and there were kids running in and out grabbing food and running around in the lobby.
This booking was a terrible experience. I liked nothing about it.
The staff has no care for you or special situation. No accomidation for guest request of change. They are horrible people in my opinion.
When we booked, we asked for the room which we had stayed in previously, (room 233 in the Bienalle building); When we arrived our room was in another building, nothing like as nice, with bed, not facing the Gudecca canal, but with a supplement to be paid of €80 per night. I presume this misunderstanding was caused by the operator not understanding my English. In short the stay was very disappointing.
No free wifi No smoking room
Nice historical place
Very Week breakfast value Very old multi media services and televion Too many steps take to get internet access.you should call to Internet support team and solve Internet connection yourself Expensive food at hotel restaurant in compare of other place
Hotel is clean and very smart. Very efficient, friendly staff. The free boat to St Marks Square area is a boon - every 20 minutes most of the day. The view from the rooftop bar over Venice is superb.
The only downside for us was that the rooftop pool was closed (we arrived a few days after it closed for the winter). We were aware of this before we traveled though, but it was disappointing.
Staff offered very poor room to buy an upgrade
The friendliness and eagerness of the staff to please its guests. The continental breakfast was outstanding. The room was grand with marble floor, double sink bathroom.
There isn't anything we didn't like.
The rooftop bar is great. It has spectacular views. The hotel shuttle is great to get to and from the main island.
Sometimes it was a wait for the shuttle and it would have been great if the shuttle staff helped patrons with their heavy luggage.
The view from our room. Restaurants were pretty good and fairly priced.
The staff was unfriendly and in some cases rude. They was some price gouging at every turn and annoying up selling of some executive area, which we smartly refused. E.g., 6 Euros for single cup of expresso. Are you kidding?
Rooms only on Tower A Restaurants Breakfast boat to and from St Marcos
the bed was amazing, we are now on the hunt for something similar. The sky bar and Long Island ice teas, best I've ever had
the bar prices but what do you excpect
It's very cold in room. And there is no mobial signal in room.
Comfort of the bed, nice staff, amazing breakfast.
The hotel shuttle boat is ideal and runs on time. The staff are very helpful and particularly friendly, offering advice on the best ways to travel and what is a must in Venice. During check in, we were given the option of what floor we wanted to stay in and advised what floor had the best view. The rooms (we stayed in a delux king size room) were cosy and kept clean. We stayed on the forth floor and the view was stunning early in the morning as the sun was rising. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of tasty food to kick start off the morning. I would recommend booking in breakfast.
The skyline bar view is beautiful but the drinks are expensive. We ordered one and made it last for an hr before heading off to local bars but seemed a shame to leave such a pretty place because of the over expensive prices. We would of happily spent a whole evenings budget on the roof if the prices were a little cheaper.
The kindness and helpfulness of the employes is remarkable. Clean hotel, complete breakfast, very quite.
It is completely unacceptable not having free wi-fi in the hotel. Except for the lobby wi-fi access is always charged (20 €/day). For Hilton's standards, this is not at all comprehensible. Not having free wi-fi access is similar to pay for each time someone needs tap water.
Very friendly staff Regular shuttle service Great location Great Food Would still recommend even with minor the negatives
No free wifi in rooms Had to pay for TV No robes
1.located on an island and need to commute by water taxi or bus. different way to experience the city 2.big comfortable room and great breakfast supply
Bed, room size, bathroom, location
Long waiting rows at check in, very slow and arrogant employees, there was a public transport strike which hilton did not mention on their site, they left us standing on other side of water as hilton did not think it was required to arrange extra personell so that their boats could contain more travellers. In the end paid 100 euro extra for a boat taxi! Room was also not clean, toothpaste spots of previous guest still in bathroom. Simply far overpriced, bad.... no very bad service and this hotel caused me having a bad taste of my venice trip. I also complained at hotel (of course did not do anything) and also i will complain by letter. Dont go here!! I stay in hiltons a lot and also other brands like Marriott.... this probably was the last time hilton!
This was the best stay on our Honeymoon Trip through Italy. It is well worth getting access to executive lounge. Free happy hour that I deamed "Magic Hour". The price for this hotel is worth every penny. As you know you will be paying lots of money for water taxis. They provide free of charge a water taxi that runs every 20 minutes to all the tourist spots. Had a great experience here!
Correspondence on how to get to the hotel initially. Wish the free shuttle ran to the train station, and or airport.
