The property is not more than 15 minutes walk to Duomo. You may have an intense sight seeing day and at the same time a really close by hotel to rest. Deffinatelly try the market, it is like 10 minutes walk.
It is a bit noisy.
near the train station, big and clean room, good staff and convenient
hard to find , looks like an old warehouse outside.
Very good guys at the reception . santiago & michele thank you for everything you are very kind . very good choice for firenze....!!!
No balcony at my room.....! THE MEN OUTSIDE THE HOTEL (AT THE DOOR) WAS VERY RUDE BUT I THINK THAT HE DIDNT HAVE ANY CONNECTION WITH THE HOTEL BUT THE HOTEL HAVE TO MAKE SOMETHING WITH THIS OLD MAN!!!!
Nice bedroom and bathroom. Great location near the train station but still very close to the main part of town.
We'd left our bags after we checked out to walk around. Reception said they'd be there all day and we get back and there's no one there to let us in. No one picked up the phone. We almost missed our train.
location, staff was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and good amenities. quite comfortable beds.
the reception is only open 10 am-8pm, which can be a bit convenient. THe Wifi in our room didn't work-too far away from the outer, which is at reception!
it is great location and very helpful staff. and extremely clean room mattress is full memory foam for perfect sleep
there is no fridge and slipper in the room
Very noise in the night, it seems there is a KTV or bar next door.
The staff at reception is very friendly. The room is very clean and big.
Very clean and comfortable room. It was on a busy street but the lockup and security gate was good. We did walk from the train station, pulling our large bags and carry ons. We also found good restaurants right up the street.
After being in several hotel rooms in four weeks in Italy, Austria and Cz Republic, we felt this room was overpriced for what we had at Monnaclara. Other than that, it was good.
It was noisy
Very near to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station and with other public transport nearby. Good choice for travellers with bigger suitcase. Friendly staff at the time we checked into the hotel who advised us on places to visit as we only have one day stay in Florence.
The air conditioner in both rooms we have booked were not working well. We only discovered after we returned to the room at night. And there is no hotel staff to assist after office hours.
Big room. Nice guy at the counter.
Safety seemed like it was a concern. Three different keys to get in. Not a nice area.
the hotel is near the train station. You can go to hotel on foot from train station.
the rooms, the toilet, the noise on the street side
Staff is nice.
- Woke up by noise from construction site and dogs at 7am. - Killed 5 mosquitoes in 2 days, got a few bites! And you can still see dead mosquitoes killed previously by others on the wall! - Wi-fi didn't work at all in room. - Feel unsecured in that area, so we actually moved a cabinet to block the door when we sleep. - You can hear people from next door watching TV and using toilet! - EUR89 per night without breakfast is not worth at all! - Will never return!
Location - close to trains and buses. Easy access to old town. Spacious Good Security
Can't think of anything
Amazing location in the heart of the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Close to the train station and the city and tourist sites. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were serviced daily.
This is not a B and B, and it is not a separate hotel. It is rooms within a building which has a security gate to the complex and security to room areas. Reception is not 24 hours.
Close to station and short walk to town
Difficult to find and felt seedy
The gentle staff was lovely.
I never stayed in my actual room because of a water leak. Instead I was given an unfortunate emergency room.
Comunication and staff availability was poor. Very hard to find on arrival. Locks were changed without any comunication.
Absolutely everything. Location is perfect. A quick 5 mins walk up from the train station; 10-15 mins to the Duomo and another 5 to Uffizi. Rooms are very well done; spacious, clean, high quality everywhere. Internet is amazing. The guy at the front desk is very helpful and told us about everything there was to see in Florence and also gave us good directions. The whole place feels very comfortable and this one of the best places we stayed in during our two week Europe tour. Its a B&B so no breakfast and the lobby is only from 10am - 8pm but we didn't care since we were out first thing in the morning and came back late anyway. We got a good deal on the price as well which made it even better.
Nothing at all. Just perfect.
The staff is only there from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm but were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was the size of a narrow hallway and you had to actually sit on the toilet sideways so your knees would not hit the wall. The shower leaked. You could hear people walking above and noise from down the hallway. The location was close to the train station and did not feel safe at night.
The location of Monna Clara was excellent. It only took 10minutes to walk into the main part of town and all monuments that were of interest we're relatively close by. The rooms had lots of space and we're clean and tidy with a nice bathroom.
The floors are quite creaky so you can hear other guests coming and going a lot and the wifi coverage ws not very good in the room we stayed with
Great location, close to train station but also walking distance to all sites/attractions in Florence.
The beds were not very comfortable-very hard mattress. WIFI did not work in our room. We had to go to the reception area to use WIFI.
The price for the facilities is very high. There is no person to respond about breakfast. There is no any refrigerator in the room. Totally, it is the worst hotel of our trip.
